One of my favorites was one where it shoots the golf ball up the wall and you watch it come down various ramps and musical instruments. Despite not living nearby or being able to use the club, they required 60 days' notice and continued charging full dues for two additional months. No flexibility. No prorating. No understanding. When I spoke with Rachel King about it, she was dismissive and simply repeated the policy over and over instead of addressing the issue or showing any willingness to work with me. It felt intentionally rigid and callous. If you're considering joining, just be aware that leaving may not be handled with the same hospitality they show when signing you up.
