But now that that's out of the way, my advice is to take this place for what it is instead of complaining about what it is not. It is NOT a super long or super challenging course. It IS a beautiful, old school golf course that is well maintained and cleverly laid out. The course was built in 1925 so many of the fairways are pretty narrow. If you're used to just bombing away, slices be damned... you won't play very well here. But if you enjoy figuring out tricky approaches and aren't intimidated by hilly lies, there's plenty here to keep even the best players engaged. What about the club? Same principle applies. Take it for what it is, not what it is not. The club itself is NOT a place where you'll see Teslas and Ferraris in the parking lot. And you're probably not going to find investors for your new startup here. But you ARE going to find great people and a tight little community. The bar is busy most nights and the food is good. If you've been a member at any golf clubs, you know that these are not things to be taken for granted. The tennis community is active and the club is very friendly towards children and families. Basically, this might be the perfect country club for people who never thought they would want to join a country club. If that's you, you'll love it! If not, you've got plenty of other great choices.

The pinball machines are typically $1 or more per game, while the classic arcade games are just 50 cents each! I was especially in awe of the incredible pinball machines, including The X-Files, John Wick, Aerosmith, South Park, and more. We were in the process of leaving the second time. Every time we would go, multiple games wouldn't work but it's part of the pinballz experience and we just wrote it off as no big deal but the losses do pile up. I was there today and it was busy and more than half of the games didn't work. When they did work; they had glitches. I found an employee which is tough and they saw what I was saying and apologized and said to go to the counter and they can credit me back. The woman at the counter wasn't as nice and told me she wouldn't be crediting me back for games that didn't work and said it with a huge attitude. The way people treat people there is wild. I've literally spent thousands of dollars and when telling them I was having issues with 5 games and would like to be credited back for the games that didn't work; they seemed to take satisfaction in telling me no. I won't be back and no one there cares. Broken games and counter people with superiority complexes aren't a great match but they will still make their money. The last thing this place is is fun.

Great in practice but incredibly frustrating when you pay $18 for the "coaches" to spend the entire evaluation on their phones. You are much more likely to find staff playing or socializing than managing the front desk. I have overheard players bragging about how their buddy at the front desk lets them in for free. Friends of staff are allowed to do their evaluation against higher level groups rather than being thrown in with new members like everyone else. Signing up for an evening slot usually results in there not being enough players for games, with everyone clearing out before the first hour is done. You end up spending $18 for two hours of pickleball only to have to wrap up after an hour.

Long overdue review!…read more Chris at Island Greens Golf is a golf genie that can make all your golf problems go away. I just started playing golf earlier this year. I have taken a few lessons with other coaches but i was still unable to get a good connection with the ball. After my first lesson with Chris, my golf game improved 100%. His approach is different from the other instructors ive encountered. You can tell he is very passionate about the sport and he loves to teach. He is also very patient and can tell you what you are doing incorrectly pretty much right away. The only reason Island Greens Golf has lesser reviews than other indoor golf facilities is because they just recently opened this year. I highly recommend Island Greens Golf!
