Been here several times. Great Serrano pepper martini...must try it with a sugar rim. Vodka flights are my husband's favorite. Oysters flights and the dipping sauce were excellent! My favorite main entree Is the bounty bowl, seafood curry. Got a bit of crab, scallop mussel fish. The price is a bit high for the portion is small but they are very tasty. Nice presentation. I just tipped $0 on $220 it was that bad. We made reservations last week and chose to sit at the open. At area when we got here...worst idea ever.bartender clearly hates his job and people. Went there for our Anniversary Dinner first time and not disappointed. Incredible meal from the very good Flatbread with 3 types of butters to appetizer of really excellent crab cakes with delicately sliced green apple. My wife had Seared Scallops which were simply amazing. I had the NW Bountiful Bowl which was incredible with all types of fresh local seafoods in a sauce that was so good. It was rich creamy with flavor of fennel and I kept the bread roll at the end for soaking in this sauce. They even made a special complimentary dessert customized to our anniversary celebration. Can't wait to come back and sample other items but it may be hard to stay way from the entrees we thoroughly enjoyed. One of the best meals in a restaurant for us this past 12 months. read more

we had been here many times before. our last visit was terrible. the food was not up to the previous standards. based on the prices i would call it horrible. nothing compared to the old tulaip bay. the noise level in the room made it impossible to talk without yelling. my wife and i were there for our anniversary. it was so loud we gave up trying to talk to each other. the service was fine as was the timelyness of the food. we ordered dishes that we had ordered previously. therefore we had a basis for our comparison. will not go back. read more

I called the Blackfish on April 7th and left a msg for a reservation. I got a call and was told to call back at 5 to make a reservation. I did just that, and was told no more but to come in and would find us a table. We arrived at the Blackfish and was told it would be an hour or so, after an hour we checked to see how long it would be and was told we were up next. So again we waited for another 20 minutes when the lady walked up to us and asked if we would mind eating at the bar. It's quite obvious, they don't know how to handle reservations. Best French onion soup around. Bring back the old Filet Mignon with the blue cheese topping, much better than current coffee based rub. Also for years we could sub sides because the tillamook cheddar pie is the best but no longer can do that which is disappointing when you spend $40 plus for an entree. read more

Decided to make it a special night seeing Robert Cray. And that we did!!! What a spectacular dinner we had from the Oysters Rockefeller, King Crab and oh my the Filet. Awesome. I rarely order King Crab due to the price but felt it was reasonable, and then it came.............many legs and oh so sweet. Yummy apps and sweet treats at the end. Fabulous dinner! We would definitely return. And, by the way, to top it all off our server Tracy was spot on. Having been a server once upon a time myself, I'm kinda picky. Tracy was not only very friendly, but very knowledgeable of the menu as well as the wine. In all...............a perfect evening!! We were going to try the buffet, but the line was incredibly long, so opted to eat at the casino's restaurant, Blackfish. The food was delicious! I told the waitress that I had a shellfish allergy and she recommended the King Salmon. I've never heard of King Salmon, but I was so glad I did! It also came with 2 sides, and they have seasonal offerings, such as the butternut squash ravioli and brussels sprouts, which I ordered. The butternut squash ravioli was a bit too sweet for my tastes, but the brussels sprouts (which had bacon!) were delicious. They also have house ginger ale, which they gave free refills on, and it was delicious with my meal. The "bread" that they brought out was actually 3 different kinds of lavosh! I love lavosh, and they also brought out 3 different kinds of butter - a bleu cheese and onion butter, sweet cream butter, and a horseradish butter. I didn't try the horseradish one, but the other 2 were delicious and i devoured most of the lavosh on the table. I will definitely return for more of this amazing food! This is a great place to eat, especially if you are outlet shopping nearby! Parking is easy, as it is a casino, so there are plenty of parking spots. read more

There are a lot of good reviews for this place but I found it average and nothing special. Figure about $50 per person w/o tip including one bottle of wine and one shared dessert, no appetizers. We had a 6:00 reservation for four of us and the place was pretty empty at that time. We sat down and it was so dark we all had to get out our phone flashlights to see the menu. The service was good but not great. We all ordered different things. Nobody raved about what they got. I ordered the King salmon. It was about a 6 oz piece with simple red cut roasted potatoes, 10 pieces of undercooked asparagus for $38. We shared a berry cobbler for dessert. It came with one small scoop of vanilla ice cream. The ratio of ice cream to cobbler was off. We asked for a second scoop since we were all eating it. They charged us $2.00 for another small scoop. By 7:00 pm the place had gotten busy and very loud. We had trouble carrying on a conversation across the table without raising our voices. Not a great atmosphere unless you like loud, dark dinner places with average food and service. read more

We had dined here before, and with the restaurant open to the Casino floor, we found it so loud it was hard to communicate, even across our table, the food and service was good so we came back and tried dining much earlier this time. It made a big difference, though it is a Casino and people are having fun! The menu was interesting in you could choose from a large number of seafood dishes for your entree, choose the method you want it prepared, choose from about ten types of sauces, choose two sides from approx. ten choices. We had a Martini and my wife had a glass of Cabernet to start which was accompanied with a selection of flatbreads and three different gourmet butters. We had the large prawns, garlic butter sauce, asparagus and the Tillamook cheddar hash potatoes. We were pleased with our meals, Tim our waiter provided excellent service and really knew the menu, different preparations and even mixed my Martini! We love to eat at the bar attached to the Restaurant and always enjoy the cracker bread with special butters. Then we order the fire roasted sauted clams which have the most amazing slighly smoky flavor - these are the best! Then to top off our dinner, we have the FRENCH ONION Soup. It has always been absolutely delicious and always been piping hot. This is one of our favorites and we highly recommend. read more

Terrible service. Tried to grab dinner before a show. Sat there for forty minutes with no sign of our meal. When we had to grab the check, the *manager* came around for no reason and got very snippy. Told us that "dining there was an hour to an hour and a half experience." Maybe for a three course meal. Not for soup and pasta. Absolutely ridiculous. 20 yr Anniversary and I'd always heard this place was great. Server was great! That's the star. Wife ordered a filet medium, came so close to rare that I traded her my scallops which I hadn't tried yet. So I start eating the barely warm steak and she bites into the scallop which is her 2nd favorite entree right behind A nice filet. She says it's like rubber and now I'm thinking she's over sensitive after the steak deal. NOPE like rubber for a scallop. And she knows scallops.....so we give them both meals back left the anniversary treat I had ready in the back room there because I was not going to get let down again. Oh yea the crab cake appetizer was great . It stops there. Went to the cedars restaraunt 24 hr diner and had better food there!!!They've had my number and not even a call by the manager. Folks it's a pub NOT a fine dining experience . I run a multi-million dollar facility and when something like this goes down there would without doubt be a call. We go to this restaurant fairly often and typically receive mediocre service due to the fact that we look pretty young.this time was over the top terrible service. We were seated fairly quickly and it all went downhill after that. We were given menus and not the starter bread and butters, then we sat there after we decided what we wanted to eat it took fifteen minutes before the waitress even came back to take our order. At that time she asked us what we wanted for dinner, still hadn't brought the bread and didn't ask if we were interested in appetizers. So we had to ask for the bread, order our appetizers and meal all at the same time. After that she never stopped by to ask how the food was, fill our waters etc. We were definitely being neglected. I know we look pretty young but that really shouldn't have anything to do with how we are treated. We probably won't be back, especially for the price I feel the service should be top notch. read more

Perfect. I am a "foodie" and traditional Thanksgiving fare is not my favorite - turkey with gravy is blah, in my view, even when well-prepared, and pumpkin pie nothing special. We made a reservation for Blackfish based on their Thanksgiving menu - it seemed like they were stepping up the traditional a bit into more interesting ways. When we arrived it turned out they had a full menu in addition to the traditional one, so we ordered from that instead. I give it "perfect" in every detail - service, decor and yes, "foodie" delights. It started with the crackers and spreads - the latter consisting of cheese and horseradish, onion, and so forth. The choice of sides available with main courses ranged from the ordinary (sweet potato fries, asparagus) to the unusual (mushroom rice, cheddar croquettes, squash ravioli, succotash with edamame instead of lima beans). We couldn't try all of them but of the four we selected between us, they were all outstanding. The main dishes were very good (grilled salmon, chicken with barbecue sauce) - not astoundingly good, maybe I'd give them a 4 (not 5) but with everything altogether, I think 5 is fair.:) It does not have the hip environment of Seattle foodie havens, but still, has its own charms. read more

I recently ate at Blackfish for the third time last week. Normally my food experience has been fabulous. I ordered the same thing every time which is the tenderloin. I don't know if they had a different chef than before but this time both our steaks we're horrible. We ordered Medium and medium well and both were extremely dry which I didn't know you could do to a tenderloin. My steak didn't have hardly any blue cheese on it and both steaks had way too many pine nuts. It was quite a mouth full of pine nuts to the point we were spitting it out. The bar tender that night wasn't up to par either. I ordered a majito and it tasted like carbonized soda. I asked the waitress if they could sweeten it up or something and when she came back she informed that I'll need to stir it because the bar tender just dumped some simple syrup on top. I gave the rating 2 stars because the waitress was very nice and pleasant. I will probably go back but I more than likely won't take my chances again with the tenderloin which happens to be my favorite steak. read more
