We stopped in on our way through Pemberton, and we had a great snack. They offer a variety of baked goods and drinks, from within the old train station in town. It's located right in the middle of town, and is hard to miss even though Pemberton is a small town. If you're needing a coffee and snack I would recommend them over McDonalds any day. All of the items are hand made, and everyone who works there is friendly. Be sure to ask for napkins as all the snacks we did try were a little messy!

As I was driving early one morning I was hit in the nose with the fresh smell of bread. My nose rapidly send a message to my belly and I had to force my foot to press on the breaks. I pulled over to investigate and sure enough, someone had been really naughty. A pack of joyful women were mixing concoctions and kneading dough. The cinnamon rolls and biscotti were exiting the hot oven, polluting the air with awesomeness. I couldn't resist the temptation; I eat a cinnamon roll accompanied by a hot latte. Oh boy, my frontal lobe was elated processing the mixture of flavors. As I was sitting there with my belly full of gaiety, I notice that the building was an old train station. Oh what a twist. I wanted to know more but I was pressed on time. I left curious with many unanswered questions. But happy knowing that my morning was off to a good start.

This is a great French-style bakery and espresso house in Pemberton. Meet your friends here before starting your outdoor adventure! Gorgeous croissants, high-quality espresso beverages, and lovely decor. Easy parking out front. You can also grab a sandwich for your lunch! Quality, quality, quality. Thank you!!!

Excellet bakery! We went on a sunny Sunday pre-lunch/post breakfast pastry date. There was a lot of people and the space isn't too big but the wether collaborated on that day so we could sit outsid and enjoy the sunshine while enjoying the pastry!

I'm glad we were early. They had the best almond croissant I have ever had. Wish this place was closer to where I live.

A delicious stop for coffee, pastries and sandwiches before an afternoon on the lake and hiking.

Hello there, Ms. German Lady. I would like something chocolate. What can you recommend? Oh, you're…read more"not going to make up my mind for me"? You're going to answer my rude questions about what everything is and how much it costs with exasperated sounds? OK, fine. I will take that random piece of German something or other for dessert. I will then go home and review you on yelp, to say that you were rude and I did not like the thing I chose, and now I want something else. Like, anything else you had. Already regretting not getting that chocolately rum ball, even though I don't like them. But then! You sweetly wrapped up the cake with a knife, because "it tastes better in slices". And then! I got 50 cents in change and noticed meringues out of the corner of my eye. 25 cents each. Meringues, these stars are for you.

I love exploring eateries, and bakeries most especially. So I see this bakery and it's a no-brainer to visit, but honestly, my expectations were not high at all. Imagine my surprise then when I see quite a selection of items, and a great deal of diversity in the items. (You know how some bakeries seem to offer a bunch of similar items? Like one bakery does a lot of cakes, one does a lot of buttercream topped bars/rolls, etc. Well this one had a nice variety to choose from.) Also surprising were the good prices. Not just because I was in a small, out-of-the-way town, but just really good value. It's been a while since I was there, so I can't remember exactly what I ordered, but I at least got an eccles cake and some sort of chocolate swirl bun plus two other things. I do remember that they were all very good. I'd day that if I found this place in Vancouver, it might be a 4/4.5, but in smaller towns, it's harder to find good stuff, and that's what puts this bakery at 5 stars: good value, good variety, and amazing for out-of-city bakery. I can't find anything half as good in Kamloops.

Being originally from South Carolina, I grew up calling this kind of treat an "elephant ear" -- but this version is much thinner and crispier. In any case, it hits that same nostalgic, indulgent, sweet spot. Not being able to decide and since there was a large group of us, we tried several -- cinnamon & sugar, chocolate hazelnut spread, brownie, and a couple others that got quickly devoured before we could see what they were! Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and just the right amount of sweetness without being overwhelming (well... unless you eat the whole thing solo). Case in point: it was so good that my oldest twin powered through an entire one herself and absolutely paid the price after. Was it worth it? She'd probably say yes. Service was pleasant, quick, and easy, and for a resort town, the pricing felt pretty reasonable. Sweet, simple, and seriously satisfying--definitely a must-try Canadian treat while you're in Whistler.
