Imagine my surprise then when I see quite a selection of items, and a great deal of diversity in the items. (You know how some bakeries seem to offer a bunch of similar items? Like one bakery does a lot of cakes, one does a lot of buttercream topped bars/rolls, etc. Well this one had a nice variety to choose from.) Also surprising were the good prices. Not just because I was in a small, out-of-the-way town, but just really good value. It's been a while since I was there, so I can't remember exactly what I ordered, but I at least got an eccles cake and some sort of chocolate swirl bun plus two other things. I do remember that they were all very good. I'd day that if I found this place in Vancouver, it might be a 4/4.5, but in smaller towns, it's harder to find good stuff, and that's what puts this bakery at 5 stars: good value, good variety, and amazing for out-of-city bakery.
