We just stopped in here to take a break riding home and buy some poker chips. Ended up leaving with a few other items. They were having a rider class at the time which was using most of the parking lot. They had chips and water for them which they offered to us. I really needed some water so I appreciated it! Sales almost always greets you when you come inside an HD Dealer. Gotta move those bikes! They were really chatty and professional and didn't try to push a sale on us really hard as they realized we were just riding through. Some places are relentless and demand your phone number and information and then send you automated texts. These guys were really chill. The motor clothes staff were very helpful as well. I always check out the clearance items. Left with some beard oil and other goodies. Great easy stop right off the highway with nice clean bathrooms. Worth stopping if you're riding in the area. read more

I ended up buying 2 jackets and 3 shirts. I am a Harley girl and now my granddaughter loves them as well. They had Harleys in the showroom including a limited bike from 2021 I believe. This place makes a dang good first impression. Went here with Sis when she was visiting from out of state. What a great shop! Super clean, great selection of bikes, gear, and accessories. If I ever buy a new HD, it'll probably be from here. Maybe even if I buy a used one. The guy at the parts counter was super friendly and gave her a good deal on a headlight gizmo for Brother In Law's bike she's giving him as a present. I was impressed with the down-to-earth staff, lounge area complete with photo albums of events, parking, heck everything really. Was looking for a bike and checked out all local dealerships (within 3 hours). Will save all the details to say this: This dealership delivers A+++ customer service. I spoke with Chris (salesman) and Chuck (service manager) to coordinate the sale. Drove 2+ hours, test rode, picked up some goodies and out the door. Everyone was super friendly and not one employee gave you a weird salesman feel or pressure. Chris was a professional and is the benchmark for how customer service should look like. If there were 10 stars, I would show that. On Friday, May 24, 2019, I was traveling back from D.C. on I-81, when my motorcycle sputtered a couple of times and quit. Luckily, I got it stopped at an exit. Just what I needed, my granddaughter was getting married on Saturday. I was supposed to be at a dinner/cookout for the family at 7:00pm, in about 4 hours. As I was looking around, to my surprise was a Harley Dealer on the other side of I-81. I coasted to the bottom of the exit, caught a red light. I attempted to start the bike, with no luck. A young man in a pickup pulled up beside me and asked if he could help. I thanked him and he helped push my bike across the intersection, then jogged behind me as I coasted right up to the Service Department. The Service Writer met me at the door and took the bike right in. I explained what had happened, and they took it right back and put it on the lift to check it out. After a few minutes, they took me back and showed me where the bike had got so overheated, all the fluids boiled (clutch-brake-oil etc.) out of the engine. They explained that it would be a few days to get some of the parts for repair. Now I was getting discouraged, not at the Dealership or the bike. I figured I was going to miss the dinner at 7:00pm. At this time, John Paul , the Service Writer, said I was authorized a rental car. He called several rental companies in the Bristol and Addington Va. area, with no luck due to the Memorial Day Holiday. Cody, the other Service Writer, spoke up and stated, "How about the airport at Tri-Cities?", which is in Tennessee, about 25 miles away. They got them on the phone for me and I made arrangements to pick up the rental. I asked if anyone wanted to make some money to give me a lift to the airport, and some employee, (John Pope-Service Manager) stated "What do you mean pay someone?', we will give you a ride to the airport. Thanks to John Paul, Cody and John Pope, going far and beyond in helping out a broke down rider from Florida, I was able to make the dinner. a few minutes late, but made it. John Paul called me on Saturday (next day) and explained to me they would keep me posted on the status of my bike. Since I had to fly back to Florida, John Paul has kept me posted daily. My bike is still there requiring a new motor, but I feel I left it in a supurb Dealership with some of the very best professionals in the "Harley World". If you are ever traveling close to Black Wolf Harley in Bristol, just stop in and you will be surprised how you are treated as "Family", and just give a big hello to Brenda. Onnie read more

Purchased a 2004 Road Glide about a month ago, within a few days had an issue with the left turn signal not working. Called them and dropped the bike off. They found several issues with the wiring and fixed everything with NO CHARGE! EXCELLENT PEOPLE AND GREAT SERVICE! Highly recommended! read more

This is a horrible dealer for Veterans...Many other Harley Davidson dealers are proud to offer 10% discounts for parts and accessories to include clothing. I have never bought anything from this dealer and we don't plan on it in the future. We patronize Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson and Harley Davidson of Asheville who give Veteran discounts, as we just spent over $725 of Chrome Cash this weekend. Smoky actually gave us a 15-20% discount this weekend during the Veteran's Day weekend sale. Shame on you Black Wolfe...Veterans I hope you boycott this dealer. read more

Purchased a new bike in May from Black Wolf & not happy!! They didn't have the paperwork/tags ready when I went to pick the bike up & had to wait over 1.5 hours before leaving the dealership. Rode the bike 45 miles home only to discover that the dealership forgot to place the state inspection plate/sticker on the bike, so had to ride the 45 miles back to get that taken care of. Then, after only a few weeks and 1500 miles there were 5 issues with the bike that I had to take it back to the dealership. They kept my bike for 14 DAYS and when I went to pick the bike up I was told that the odometer was common to haze over & not repairable & it was common for my rear brakes to squeak & was actually stated in the manual as such. The manual actually states: Brake Pads; 'during some braking conditions you may experience noise. This is normal for this friction material.' That doesn't imply that the rear brakes should squeak all the time in my opinion!! Tried contacting Harley Davidson cooperate & they have pretty much avoided me since I stated my disappointment with Black Wolf & the Harley brand. My advice is avoid Harley and Black Wolf!!!! read more

I have been a fan of Black Wolf H-D since 2009 and they are the only dealership I have dealt with even though I am closer location-wise to another dealership. Earlier this year I had the opportunity to test-ride a new Road Glide Special and was sold on the bike with all of its upgrades compared to my model year H-D. So after sending them information online to get a quote for my bike I drove it over today to see what I could get for it. I explained to the salesman that I wanted to sell it and asked if I could get a quote. He assured me it would not be a problem to get a quote. I informed him that my goal was to sell the H-D and a second motorcycle I own and eventually buy a new Harley and I was thinking seriously about the Road Glide Special. He checked out my bike and got copies of my registration and drivers license. He asked questions about the bike and said he would be back, as I assume he has no authority and has to ask someone in finance for the information on the quote. He did mention that Black Wolf now has six area dealerships that are all owned by Black Wolf's ownership having just acquired a sixth dealership. When he returned he was very short with me and informed me his supervisor would not give me a quote on the bike until I brought in my second motorcycle. I told him that makes no sense to me and I was not going to do that. He had assured me the dealership would give me a quote. He then very rudely and disrespectfully shoved the copies of my registration and license back in front of me and when I took them, he stomped off like a child throwing a temper tantrum. I was shocked! I merely wanted a quote to see if they would offer me a fair price and if not, I was just going to list the bike online and sell it myself. I did nothing to this salesperson to warrant the disrespectful attitude and I will never stop in this dealership again. I now know to additionally not stop in any of the six dealerships associated with Black Wolf. I can't believe they would hire a jerk like this and cost them their reputation. The bike community is pretty close-knit and I will make certain I let all my friends know about Black Wolf's horrible staff. read more

On a recent trip to TN from Boston the water pump on my CVO quit working. Wouldn't normally be a big deal since the motors are really air cooled. But the outside temp was 99 degrees and the 110 engine was searing, especially when a car fire on the highway had traffic at a crawl! Stopped at Bristol for the night and looked up the nearest HD dealer. Black Wolf HD was 5 miles away. I was there Tuesday at 9am. John in service got me right in, diagnosed the problem and had the part shipped over nite. In the meantime, he said riding would not be a problem without the pump and it wasn't! The next day, I was in and out in about 2 hours with a new pump! I can't say enough about how Black Wolf HD treated me through the whole process. They have a really nice showroom that has a nice selection too! Stop by here, you will be impressed! read more
