Mitchell's Tractor & Farm Machinery

Bought a Tractor around 3 months ago from Mitchell's. Paid $28,000.00 cash for it and a few…read moreimplements. I've only used it for bushhogging and light dirt work putting less than 80 hours on it since then. Picking up a load of dirt the other day and the tractor broke in half. Transmission cased snapped in two leaving the tractor in 2 peices. I've been told by alot of other equipment dealers this is a common problem with Kubota and they should cover it for warranty. Kubota and Mitchell's refuses to cover anything and pretty much told me I was on my own. They would give me "discounted parts" but would be ridiculous labor. I really hate to talk bad about anyone as I'm a small business owner myself. JR at mitchells has been great to deal with and I believe would fix this if it was up to him but this seems to be above his head. Right is right and the right thing to do would be for them to stand behind this and fix the tractor that I've barely gotten any use out of. I didn't find out until after the purchase that the tractor has already had several clutches put in. Other equipment dealers are saying the bolts were probably over tightened during clutch install and this is what cracked and weakened the case. I just happen to be the one that it finally broke on. I am a easy going guy and have been patient about everything but have gotten very little help and was told I was on my own. I do not plan to keep quiet about this and I will be sure to tell any and everyone that wants to listen.
