After selecting an awesome design and giving me a very fair $$ price, I gave the go ahead to order them, I asked how much do I owe you for the used tire and labor and do you need a deposit ? He gave a little smile and waived his hand said we'll see you tomorrow. Anxious to get the new tires, I arrived a little ahead of the delivery truck but as soon as they were unloaded, they had me in and done in a flash. When I hit the Interstate for the test drive, it was smooth with no vibrations all the way to 75mph and very little tire/road noise especially considering the tread design. I took a deep breath, relaxed and thought how good it felt to have new tires driving around with all the crazies driving around these days! lol I am a former US Marine & retired hvac business owner, so I am not easily impressed. The car was in good shape but they did find a few suggestions to upgrade the ride and safety, such as old tires were starting to dry rot, and breaks needed maintenance. The staff on the phone and in person was very friendly. They got my car in and out in a reasonable amount of time. I was able to walk down to Sandie's Restaurant and grab lunch while waiting. AAA was useless, as there were so many accidents and cars & semi-trucks were off the road on both sides of the interstate. We were told they would not honor the warranty on my husband's Sumitomo tires, which were falling apart after just 34,000 miles, because he "had not rotated them often enough", which just isn't true. They were routinely rotated every 10,000 miles so there's no explanation for the issue other than incompetency on their part. They probably don't care that they're losing us as customers, but they're losing our extended family as well. Hopefully they'll mend their ways, but we're not holding our breath for it.

The owner (I presume) asked me why I thought the brakes might be bad, and didn't patronize me with my answers, which I find happens a lot in mechanics shops.
