This is basically your only choice up here at A Basin, minus the restaurants below. Supply and demand would dedicate that they only had to be mediocre based on location alone. But - this place is good, really good. Surprisingly good and the service is awesome. Things to Note: 1) Beer 2) Slightly overpriced but you are on top of a mountain. $15 Burgers, $10 soups, $15 Salads 3) Outdoor Patio 4) Wifi 5) If you don't ski/board, you can get a $20 scenic lift ticket and this will give you a $15 food voucher. Must Dos: 1) Burger w/ waffles fries. 2) Bison Stew w/ cornbread 3) Huge Salads I was there when there was a lot of STL style Ribs and Brisket. Having lived in the Lou - I was like hell no. But I think I need to come back, forget the skiing - just eat and sit outside or Both.

Just go up one lift and you're here! It's a casual place with most people stopping during their ski runs for a quick bite or beer. The food portions are pretty good. We got the bison bread bowl and the pickled jalapeños were great. Only gave 3 stars because the rest of the bowl lacked a little flavor and first set of silverware we got was dirty. There is no table service.

Nice mid mountain spot. I believe their is something further up the mountain but it's a bathroom or warming hut. This has a full kitchen though so it's a good spot to rest or meet the homies. Clean bathrooms right when you enter on your left. Water fountain with cups. Small al la carte snack section. Coffee. Hot chocolate. Soups salads. Burgers. Pasta. Sandwiches on the menu. Desert too so you have your hot food to warm up. Full bar. Not as many taps as down the mountain. About four but IPA/Stout/Lager and a cheaper Coors or PBR option rotates. Few tall stools and tables. Long tables to eat leaving room for jackets and boots. Outdoor seating right by the Black Mountain Express. Racks outside for your skis or boards. Good place to take a break and eat.

Awesome BBQ Brisket Sandwich with massive sticky sweet potato fries.

We are long-time fans of Arapahoe Basin and it's lofty 12,050 ft summit. However, I must admit that I now come for the barbecue and stay for the skiing (and hiking in summer!) Black Mountain Lodge has some of the best house smoked BBQ brisket and pork in Colorado. A well kept secret culinary hideaway? Not for long!

Very good BBQ ribs because they have focused on smoking meats for a significant part of their menu. Wonderful location and views.

Best Pulled Pork sandwich I've ever had! The bloody mary's were also delicious and tall.

He recommended a real banger for a beverage in the Brewmaster's Stash, also the brewery mustard for my burger. I'd recommend this location to my friends and family. Enjoy!

I honestly don't like leaving bad reviews, but this experience was terrible…read more I ordered mac and cheese with chili and pork, and what came out looked like plain microwaveable Kraft mac and cheese. There was no chili, no pork, nothing -- just basic mac and cheese that tasted like it came straight out of a box. My friend ordered a burger that was supposed to come with lettuce, blue cheese, and the works. Instead, it arrived with just chicken and bread. That was it. No toppings at all. The water we were given was also incredibly dirty -- it literally looked grey. Service somehow managed to be both overwhelming and nonexistent. While we were eating, the waiter came back to the table every couple of seconds so we couldn't even have a conversation. But when we were actually ready for the check, suddenly there was no waiter anywhere and we fwaited about 15 minutes. On top of that, every request got mixed up. I asked for blue cheese and after about 10 minutes the waiter came back with ranch. Then I asked for lemon vinaigrette (which the meal was supposed to come with) and instead got honey mustard. After explaining again, she came back with... even more honey mustard. We also paid $10 for fries with green chili and received about 15 fries. And one more thing when paying they did NOT bring my card back for about 20 minutes. It was also extremely dark where we were sitting all of the surrounding lights were off but everywhere else in the resteraunt was perfectly fine Overall the food quality, service, and attention to orders were extremely disappointing. Definitely not an experience I'd repeat don't waste your money here.

Frisco has so many great places to visit, and Highside is located right at the corner of one of the coolest streets of shops and restaurants--starting or ending your shopping with a beer is a must. Highside always has a great variety of beers, but also has coolers of ciders and non alcoholic options. They also have food available, but as I haven't eaten any, I won't review that here! Current Management is extremely dedicated to the "We Do Not Suck," goal. High Side now has three (3) locations; Breckinridge, Fair Play and Frisco. The actual BBQ pit is in Fair Play, and high quality meats and game-based sausages are supplied to the pit. BBQ is distributed to Breck and Frisco. During my tasting the sausage was moist and flavorful, turkey was amazing (so moist), pork shoulder was nicely smoked, and the brisket, although tough, was flavorful. Also tried delectable Mac-n-Cheese, Green Chili, Red Chili. High Side is dedicated to community involvement and occupies a great location in Frisco. They also genuinely care about customer satisfaction. Kurt Zolbe is your man if you have any issues.

They have a nice selection of brunch and lunch dishes, and it was easy to find something appealing. I ordered the Roasted Sweet Potato Salad ($17), while my husband chose the Garlic Shrimp and Bacon Salad ($22). Both salads were fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. My husband finished his, but I could only eat about half of mine, so I happily took the rest home for another meal. I also tried one of their handcrafted cocktails, "This Will Fix Your Life" (Bear Creek Vodka, ginger liqueur, lavender, and honey, $16). It was light, refreshing, and paired perfectly with lunch. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal, making for an enjoyable dining experience. If you're shopping at the Outlets at Silverthorne or just looking for a quality lunch spot in the area, Timberline Craft Kitchen & Cocktails is well worth a visit.

Well I could have left when I saw the $21 Hamburger. W.T. Heck is happening with restaurants? Anyway, the Soya, a grilled shaved beef on kabobs dish from Nigeria with a spicy peanut dipping sauce was disappointing. The Colorado presentation was chunks of grilled tough top round with a horseradish sauce presented on a bed of arugula and bird's eye peppers. Is alright, but lose the pretentious name. Ambience was ok. No music, TV, but nothing special.
