Summary- EXTREMELY over priced, lackluster food, KIND staff. My husband and I live near this restaurant and decided to try it out. First thing we noticed was how amazing the staff members were. They were kind, professional and proficient. The restaurant itself is clean and well decorated. Ultimately I'm disappointed with the food and the pricing. My husband and I spent $70 for breakfast which is absolutely ridiculous. My husband got the chicken and waffles (2 medium sized chicken strips and ONE small waffle, no sides come with this meal) I got the "special" of the day, the Bananas Foster waffle. (ONE singular small waffle with a quarter of a banana on top, no sides come with this meal) Because the meals don't come with any sides, we orders a side of bacon (2 pieces) and potato wedges (they don't have hash browns). Each plate averaged about $30 which is atrocious for a singular waffle and a protein. Portion sizes are nothing to write home about, flavor fell short as well. Not bad, but not worth the price. Unfortunately I don't think I can recommend this place. Omelette house a couple miles away, half the price and better food. read more

I'm local to the area and finally got a chance to try BMG. Went in for a late breakfast on a Monday. My server was fantastic, attentive and friendly. I ordered their biscuits and gravy breakfast with a side of fruit. The potatoes that came with it were great! Well seasoned and cooked to perfection. My eggs were prepared properly. The fruit was fresh, and came with at least 6 different fruits. The biscuit and gravy was PHENOMENAL! Amongst the best I've ever had. Thanks BMG staff, see you all again soon for sure. read more

Having a great experience the first time, we decided to return. Once again we were immediately greeted with who I believe might be the owner, very friendly. Service was quick, The food was good but I felt the omelet was somewhat small for 17.95. The wife enjoyed her Banana Waffle for 16.95. Prices seemed a bit high for what you get. This new brunch spot is an absolute gem. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, stylish, and welcoming. The food was incredible!! Fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with a lot of care. Every dish came out beautifully presented, and you can tell they really care about quality. What made the experience even more special was the owner personally coming over to greet us and make us feel welcome. That kind of hospitality really stands out, especially in the Las Vegas valley, where that level of personal attention is pretty rare. It says a lot about how much pride they take in their business and their customers' experience. The service all around was fantastic, and the whole place just felt genuine. Great new spot in Henderson!! Much needed brunch spot has finally come. The mimosas are really good and the michelada was delicious. We had the breakfast burrito and the steak and eggs. We devoured everything. The fries with cojita on them is a great touch. The service was great and friendly. The owner is even walking around helping out and taking orders. Just a warning so others know. My husband loves a classic club sandwich. So much so that we go around town trying new places and I have a list of places with a club that he likes. A lot of the places don't make the cut because they have fancy breads or aioli or change it so it's not actually a club. So when we saw that there was a new breakfast/brunch spot that had a classic club, he was very excited. My breakfast was good, I really liked their potatoes. The club however does not have "mayo" on it as the menu says. It's a garlic mayo or aioli on it which was very overpowering and all you could taste on the sandwich was garlic. My husband also has heart burn and acid reflux issues and one bite immediately had him going to the bathroom with a flare up. If he had known it wasn't just regular white mayo, he wouldn't have ordered it. We didn't say anything because we hate doing that and he did order it but I wanted to share in case anyone else orders thinking it's just a normal club. read more

What a fantastic experience! The staff here were so attentive and friendly from start to finish, and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage and bacon -- it was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. My kids all loved their meals too: one had the tres leches pancakes (he finished every bite!), another had the chicken tenders and fries and has been begging to go back ever since, and my oldest couldn't stop raving about the mac and cheese burger. The owner even came out to greet us personally and brought over a concha ice cream sandwich to try -- and wow, it was one of the best desserts I've had in a long time! Overall, this place is a gem. Food was just average , I ordered a basic breakfast of bacon, eggs over easy , the potatoes ( which were steak fries with bell peppers & onion) and toast and a glass of orange juice which I ordered right away as we were seated and my husband ordered the same thing with ice tea ! The ice tea was in a decent sized cup but my orange juice was in a small glass cup and both drinks were $5 and some change . You get one piece of toast cut in half we asked for butter on the toast which must have been put on after the toast has cooled off because it hadn't melted . We didn't order anything fancy and the food was just ok . What got me was the smell of the dining area which smelled like maybe the grease traps and when using the women restroom the smell was even more offensive , on a brighter note though the bathroom was clean , toilets were hand free flushing and the dining area was clean. We were looking for a new place to try that served breakfast and all day. We want to try a new area of town so we looked near the horizon and horizon area. Sitting in a small row of businesses was Black Mountain Griddle, so why not try it. When walking in, it was a great experience to be acknowledged with a smile and hello. The restaurant was small but several people were there. We could definitely tell it was a little family owned spot rather than a big named spot. We were immediately greeted by a young lady and also the owner, who were both very friendly. The menu had several great options for breakfast and lunch. We ended up getting just breakfast. I tried the specialty omelet and my family enjoyed the pancakes. The prices were what we were expecting to pay so that is nice. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely return to try something else. read more
