After YEARS of wanting a nose ring and a belly button ring, I finally took the plunge!…read more I called Sanctum up to confirm their policy on jewelry and they informed me that I would have to buy jewelry from them, so I decided to go on Sunday to check out the jewelry offerings. The guy at the counter was SUPER helpful!! He found time for me and my questions even though he had other customers with appointments. I made an appointment for the day after, since they were pretty booked up. When I went in the next day, my heart fell when I realized Chuck would be doing my piercings, instead of Katie! (I read the yelp reviews and one thing was clear - Chuck was to be avoided!) But apparently, I had nothing to worry about, as Chuck was amazing. His no nonsense, you've got this attitude actually kept me from freaking out too much. And even when I freaked out, he was great! I couldn't be happier that I chose Sanctum for my piercings! The cost of jewelry and piercing for belly button and nose, if done together, start at $80. I ended up spending $120 for it.

I was not told it was bleeding or that it was irritated. Next thing I know there's blood dripping down my face in the car and I have to pull over. HORRIBLE COMMUNICATION. Paying upwards of $100 for a service and jewelry and you would think they could at least screw the ball in correctly or voice that I was bleeding. WTF?!

My hoop was a thin dainty 22 gauge and I wanted to keep it or something similar. I called several places but no one had anything that size. I walk into Forever Ink, entrance was in the back was immediately greeted and spoke to Malakai. He was so nice and took the time to explain everything to me. Malakai tried to taper the piercing so he wouldn't have to re-pierce it but it turns out a nostril piercing can close very quickly. Well, that went downhill faster than a fat kid on a snow tube. Bummer. Malakai was the best! He was very kind and took the time to explain everything. I appreciate his direct no non-sense approach. Piercings are wounds and wound care is not something to play around with. I for one want someone who is knowledgeable and takes the time to make me feel comfortable. I don't understand the bad reviews, I suppose he might come across a little rough around the edges, but it's obvious he is very caring and wants the customer to leave happy. Everything was sterile and clean. Everyone there was so nice and the shop just had a good vibe. Cash only but there is an ATM on site. Piercing was quick and price was very fair. I would definitely come here again for more piercings or if I ever decide to not chicken out on a Tatt. Highly recommend. If you found this review helpful, please show some love!

That same care carried through the entire appointment -- she explained every step before and after the piercing, and every answer she gave was genuinely knowledgeable and backed by real, scientifically sound reasoning (not just the usual talking points). She's also incredibly professional and patient, and you can tell she really cares about the people she's working on, not just getting through the appointment. And honestly, she has such a great personality and vibe that the whole thing was actually fun, on top of feeling safe and well taken care of. It's rare to find a piercer this meticulous, this good at communicating, and this easy to be around. Honestly the best piercing experience I've had, hands down. I've already sent all my friends her way, and I'll be back for more. If you're looking for a piercer who actually knows their craft and genuinely cares, go see Christy.

They spent over 30 minutes just measuring the distance of the piercings to make sure it was perfect. To note, I had four other lobe piercings (2 on each ear) from a different tattoo/piercing store but they didn't measure at all while they were making the piercings, so it was great to finally experience that level of professionalism. They made me feel very comfortable and assured the entire time and made sure my piercings were all cleaned up before I left. In light of COVID, it was clear they are taking safety measures seriously, so that was great to see!

I was in town to visit and searched up local tattoo shops so I decided on this place. I was able to get a same day appointment and asked for a simple cross design on my finger. Tyler was my tattoo artist. I left the shop paying the $100 minimum for a simple tattoo- fair. However, when I left the tattoo was uneven, and when I texted them that night to fix it I did not get a response. I decided to show up the next morning where they fixed my tattoo (kind of) and went on my way. During the healing process I noticed a spot that was artificially tattooed- I thought it didn't look like it was penetrated into my skin enough as the rest of the tattoo. When I went in for them to fix it initially I already was made to feel like a bother so I figured, maybe it will heal right- they are the ones experienced in this right? I was in town visiting again this weekend so I had asked them for another retouch. I live 2 hours away and this is a 10 second fix. They did not answer my message and then I called them the next day where they finally answered. They could not accommodate to fix my tattoo until Monday. I shared that I leave town Sunday and would love if someone can just try and fix up my tattoo. It clearly is a botched tattoo and this is the second problem I've had with it. First the lines were uneven, and second there is a gap in the line (not to mention that it's crooked). They said they can get me in at 5pm Sunday as they had limited artists and shared how they warned me that a finger tattoo may often need touch ups. My tattoo isn't even a month old at this point and I was already in need of a touch up. I advised them that I actually already have a finger tattoo that is 6 years old at this point and has never needed a retouch. The pictures speak for themselves ‍ do not give this place business
