I scheduled an appointment with my tattoo artist two months in advance for a touch-up. I was not initially the most satisfied with my tattoo as not all five colors presented in the original image were there. I was very perplexed as another employee told me my piece was finalized rather than the artist himself.
The day of the touch-up was Father's Day. When I asked for his availability, June 20th (Father's Day) was the date he provided.
We communicated through means of Instagram direct message. This was extremely easy and convenient for me as I am a 23 year old woman.
Notably, I was somewhat weary about the date. On June 7th, I sent a message expressing my excitement, confirming the date and time with the artist. He responded assuring me my information was correct. I was even sure to contact him the day prior requesting some specifications and details to be portrayed within my current tattoo. He responded once again.
June 20th was both Father's Day and my youngest sisters 18th birthday. I was recently in a car accident and was fortunate enough to have my friend take me to the appointment.
I sat in the lobby for 45 minutes until a very kind gentleman named Storm addressed me. We both tried to make contact with the artist. Once doing so, it was understood that he was not in town.
I did not have a ride. The current situation was now that I had to spend money on an Uber or Lyft to return home. Fortunately enough, Storm and his son had generously offered to take me back to the house I was dog sitting for.
I was really appreciative of that. I apologize to both Storm and his son as I talked their ears off the entire ride. I love communicating with new people and sometimes, I simply don't know when to shut up.
Also- Storm's son is into music and it's really bumpin'. I really recommend checking him out if you get the opportunity to. read more
