I was promptly greeted by Steph at the front door and treated to a drink before my facial. It was a one hour facial with a scrub, red light therapy and small extraction. I thoroughly enjoyed the Eminence products and their natural floral smells from start to finish. The entire process was very relaxing and I probably booked another visit for the new year. From the heated bed and dark room, to the tingling exfoliation treatment, relaxing LED lights and more, it was a great experience. I especially liked the dermaplane treatment (gets all hairs and dead skin cells off your face with no down time) and LED red light, which I had on my face for 15 minutes. Fun fact: NASA uses LED red light to grow plants in outer space, so imagine how well that helps stimulate collagen on your face! This is a popular spot, so be prepared to book months in advance. They sell and use the Eminence organic skincare line, which is gentle and seems to have pure ingredients. I was given some samples for the road, as well as a hot tea, which was so sweet. Enjoy!

He immediately got mad and start signaling and talking in his language for someone else to come and do my nails. I could tell he was very upset and kind of start mocking me. Today, I joined my sis-in-law for her girl's day spa outing! She wanted to do something different…read morefor her birthday this year so she invited a group of ladies to join her at Elite Hands Body & Spa for a midday escape. We had a reservation scheduled at 2:00 PM and the majority of our party arrived on time. The hostess , who I believe is the business owner, was prepared for our arrival, and greeted us by showing us where to hang our coats and items in order to leave baggage and prepare for a 40 minute escape and time of relaxation. After hanging our items up, we were directed into a lounge type space, that had a charcuterie board/snacks, mimosa fixings, and complimentary cocktail glasses for each guests to enjoy and take as a souvenir after our experience. Our hostess, confirmed the type of escapes that we each booked ahead of time and then offered us either an orange mimosa or watermelon to get the party started. They played a nice music mix and offered to change it to what the birthday girl wanted to listen too if she would like. Then we were to told to mingle while our escapes were being prepared for us. Our party was then given either a satin robe to change into (if they selected the Yoni Steam service, or individually we were taken in our massage rooms if we selected a full body massage, facial Steam, there were also Sauna steams, and Facials available for this Girlfriends Escape experience. Each guest selected two services to get done, as all guests were to experience their escapes at the same time that would last roughly 40 minutes each. I was directed into a massage room with massage tech, Lanetia and this would be my very first time getting a full body massage. Lanetia, was extremely nice and calm, she was professional and I could tell she had experience. I was slightly nervous, not because I had to full undress (minus my panties) but because I have some pathology in my lower back from my old line of work. And so it causes nerve pain into my feet and I just get nervous when someone is pressing or stretching my nerves and muscles. I had nothing to worry about, I knew when she was hitting on my trigger points, and she knew when to remind me to relax whenever I would tense up. Soft music is played and you truly feel like your mind, body, and soul are being taken on this therapeutic journey. I was also booked to get the facial Steam, but due to my personal time I ended up not getting that done and leaving around 4:00 PM to go handle other things I had to do. Once my escape was over with I was directed to the lovely, bohemian bathroom which was my favorite aesthetic in the entire place. Pretty yellows, and serenity surrounded this space, and it's very instagrammable if you are into that. Total photo op! As some of us headed out earlier together, we were told to grab a goodie bag (which consisted of fuzzy socks, charcoal massage gloves, and spearmint gum), and then to pay for our services. They take credit card and cash app I think. My massage was $50 but I left a nice tip out of appreciation. This is a great experience to book for your next birthday gathering, a bridal shower, or just to get away if you need some me-time. (This makes me feel all sorts of feelings! Why can't things stay the same and continue forever and ever?) However, nothing is forever, darling. I now see another amazing massage therapist at Indy Massage Company named Matthew. He is pretty great, and I look forward to relaxing on his table each month at IMC. He is intuitive and firm yet incredibly gentle, and I'm able to just surrender and let him work his magic. I've mostly only booked Swedish massages with him, but one time I booked a longer session where he really worked out the muscles in my upper back and shoulders, which really needed attention. Indy Massage Company is one of my favorite places in Indy, and I continue to love visiting this place when I can.
