Black Fox is a specialty coffee company born from the founders' desire for a better café experience. Founders Daniel Murphy and Gary Hardwick were unimpressed with their daily coffee options so they created their own including full-service cafes, espresso bars, and a roastery that honors their mission to make remarkably good coffee. As one of the few multi-roasters in New York City, Black Fox sources and curates global coffee. With strong, bold, and fresh coffee, along with plenty of space to work, Black Fox Coffee makes life easy for those in need of both excellent coffee and a productive environment. "Black Fox Coffee boasts the best day-to-day coffee selection of any shop in the city, featuring coffees from a variety of esteemed roasters worldwide." - EATER NY

Cute coffee shop! This is a NY specific chain and there was a lot of hype around the coffee. I ordered a sesame chai latte (so not actually a true coffee / latte), but really liked my drink. Would definitely come back for one of their specialty drinks. Note that it's a popular location and service can be pretty backed up.

Busier than usual but nonetheless the quality of their latte is second to none. This is my go to coffee stop besides culture coffee (who also have delicious cookies) in the midtown area.

A very small shop that can be hard to miss with limited space and no seating. The baristas were so nice! I ordered an oat milk latte and it was a bit lacking for the $8 price tag. There didn't seem to be enough espresso at all - probably would not order this again since it tasted like I was drinking straight oat milk. The drink also had a lot of space at the top and I wish they filled it all the way. The plus is that it is a quick walk from Penn Station.

    Beans!!

Black Fox's coffee is pretty good, but not exceptional. However, I do love that they sell beans from international beans like Coffee Collective (Denmark) or Square Mile (UK). Definitely grabbed a fresh bag of Square Mile beans while I stopped by and hope that I can enjoy them when I'm home. COLD BREW - 5.50 Not sure if it's worth dropping 5.50 on cold brew because you can literally at any direction for 5 minutes and can probably find somewhere cheaper. However, the quality is pretty good as it is less acidic and more of that nuttiness and chocolate flavors. Overall, a solid medium roast that both my friend and I enjoyed. This Black Fox location has a small interior but a couple tables outside that you can sit at if it's not too cold. Otherwise, definitely more of a grab & go spot compared to the Black Fox location on 45th street.

The coffee was good, had the butterscotch latte ~$9. It's little pricy but for the location, understandable. It's a small cute cafe so can be easy to miss the entrance. Pretty fast with orders.

I ordered the Butterscotch Latte and was seriously impressed. They make their butterscotch sauce from scratch using dark brown sugar, vanilla, and coconut milk, which gives it a rich, nutty flavor that's perfectly balanced not overly sweet. You can really taste the quality and care in each sip. Definitely a standout drink, and one I'll be coming back for.

We had a 1 hour wait for our LIRR so we walked over to the Yelp recommended coffee venue and were not disappointed. Small hole in the wall connected to a fancy pants hotel. Some cool items on the menu but we got our usual. The iced oat latte was rich and flavorful. Sometimes it's diluted or the coffee doesn't stand out. Was very happy w theirs. We also got one with vanilla syrup which they make their own. It was definitely noticeable and less artificial tasting. We will definitely come back. Was worth the walk from Penn station!

We stopped by recently for a morning coffee. A pretty small shop with minimal seating but very friendly staff! Don't think it's much of a sit down coffee shop, but much more of a grab and go. I got a cortado, and it was decent. Acidic notes, but overall quite a smooth taste. A bit too much steamed milk for my taste. Will be back if I'm in the area and need a caffeine hit!

This coffee shop is nearly tucked away, so tucked away that it's easy to miss at first. After walking in, I could tell immediately that the coffee was going to be good. I don't know how to explain it, maybe it was the interior design or sleek branding, but I had a good feeling, and I was right. I loved my latte and only knocked off one star because wow it is pricey! This will have to be a once a week pick me up.

Quite average iced latte! There was quite the line here so I know this place is popular. Perhaps try a drink with more espresso in it

They have a water dispenser, two locking bathrooms, and plenty of outlets, so I already have a very positive view of Grace Street as a good place to rest. The food is alright. It's a bit overpriced and the teas are not good quality. However, the desserts are delicious. I usually split a slice of basque cheesecake with my friends. The regular and matcha have both been good in my experience. I don't like chocolate cake, so I haven't tried that variety. I wish the pumpkin was available in the smaller size too! I've tried their boba, and it isn't good. The hot teas are okay but not great. They're pretty much just syrup and milk. I would avoid the drinks and just get the desserts! I haven't personally tried the bingsoo, but I've heard good things. The waffle is alright--all in all, come here to recharge and for the basque cheesecake!

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.

They're a little pricey, but each donut is a pretty hefty ring of chewy glutinous rice flour batter. I had them the following morning, and the donuts still tasted fresh.
