After requesting an estimate thru Yelp, we were immediately contacted by Desert Pride's owner and then our Project Manager, Ruben Aceves. Ruben called to discuss our project and then came out to our home within a day. He was extremely polite and accommodating, yet unassumingly confident. He listened, asked some questions, made some very insightful recommendations, took some pictures and sent us a solid estimate as promised. Once we retained them, Ruben was our phenomenal daily point of contact. He worked with us closely to understand and meet our every wish. He came to the house every day and texted throughout the day to let us know who was coming, when and what to expect. Ruben was so knowledgeable and laid back that he gave us advice on things we were considering doing outside their scope of work. (i.e. new front doors thru Home Depot and some flooring thru a friend of a friend.) The project turned out more beautifully than we imagined. Everything was completed on time and there were no surprises on pricing or timeliness. Even when we changed our minds on some of the details, Ruben didn't flinch or hit us up with a change order. Project includes demo, new cabinet, moved electrical switches and lights, and replacement of plumbing valves. I got it fixed once before but the issue came back, so I decided it was time to rip the bath rub out and install something new. I reached out to a bunch of contractors in the Palm Springs area and got people over to provide me with quotes. Turns out some did not have proper licenses (yet advertise they do), some quoted me for labor but wanted me to go buy all the parts and tiles, some showed up an hour late etc. Gio made a perfect impression. He communicated well about his ETA, talked me through the process and provided me with a rough estimate. Later that evening, he sent me a quote via email with the breakdown and I also got to select the tile at that point. Gio had also renovated bathrooms in a few other condos in my HOA, which definitely gave me even more confidence. I paid the down-payment and Marco showed up a few days later with his workers. They put down paper and plastic everywhere to try and keep my place as clean and dust free as possible. They ripped out the bathroom in one day. Then the plumber came to redo plumbing. He rebuilt the pipes and drain, which was definitely needed. They then left water standing in the drain during the weekend to make sure it wouldn't leak (it didn't). Then the tilers took about 3 days doing the sides and floor. On the final day, the plumber came back to install the fixtures and sliding door. Start to finish, the labor took a week. The workers always showed up within the hour that they said they would. Gio and Marco were super available via call and text when needed. And everyone was super friendly. I can't thank them enough for the amazing job they did.

This review is for my rental house in Indio that caught on fire last year. I will start by saying…read morethat my insurance company contracted another company to do the restoration without talking to me first. They did do a good job with the emergency clean up but then made made promises to the tenants that caused major issues and were impossible to keep. They also wanted to cut corners to get the job done. My property Manager suggested I reach out to Scott Young and it was the best decision I made. He redid the entire bid and helped navigate the approvals thru the insurance company. His bids were complete and done correctly. Scotts and his team have a "Yes we Can" attitude and are very professional and honest about what needs to be done. My roof needed replacing, patio beams torn down, walls reconstructed and house repainted. They also replaced my flooring in all rooms and painted and cleaned the inside to bring it back to its original condition before the fire. The house now looks like new. One thing that I really appreciated was that I could trust them and some product I left up to Scott to pick out as he knew exactly what was needed. He and his team would meet me at the house once a month to go over the progress and what still needed approval by the insurance company. The home is now completed and the tenants are back in.
