This was slightly confusing upon our arrival, but we figured it out. Upon our arrival (those of us who are on time), were greeted by Amber! She caught onto our family banter quickly and went through the Do's & Don'ts. There were 50 of us, so we certainly needed this. The Lodge is spacious and multiple beautiful views. I watched the sunrise over the mountains on the spa balcony every morning. A great way to prepare yourself for the chaos of a family reunion, and just Be for a moment! The Lodge had plenty of space for eating together, games and we even put on a talent show! The game room and dining area were the most used. We had ages from 4-months to old AF, and everyone enjoyed themselves. The Lodge is in close proximity to Purgatory, Bears Ranch (horseback riding), trails, water leisure, and a local bar, The Nugget. A tent keeps out the mosquitoes and cools off at night instantly. This condo was warm in the night even with the screen-less balcony door wide open with a fan blowing *enter mosquitoes and cigarette smoke all night*. I understand they didn't design these places with summers in mind, but come on. A $300 portable AC unit would do the trick. We ended up paying about $250/night for this place. Complete rip off. Oh and some outlets and light bulbs didn't work. Reviews from at least a year about on booking.com say the same thing. Hasn't been fixed. Whatever entity is managing this property is getting away with a borderline scam. Purgatory needs to stop booking this place. Especially during the summer.
