Vegetarian charcuterie board and Coors.
Sarah J.

Had a lovely and generous charcuterie board in the garden. Fun cocktail hour music playing, a deer came to visit and they adjusted the board to be vegetarian for us. Closest place for a snack and drink for the hotels at the south end of valley. They also do a brunch in addition to weekend happy/hour and drinks. He eat way to unwind and not have to sit at any of the bars on main street.

You know what pairs well with good wine, cheese and meat? a laid back atmosphere to enjoy it all in. Located in the small town of Ouray Colorado, the Ouray wine garden is on the property of the Historic Ouray manor. It is a very quaint setup in this mountain town. It was a nice change of atmosphere from the heat, sand and sidewalk of Vegas. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, offering spectacular service. What's really cool is the cheese is sourced from local dairies and the wine from local winery's. The seating arrangement is spaced out well. Not just for social distancing but also you don't feel cramped. We opted for the Chief Ouray 5-6 Person Charcuterie board. The board was packed with plentiful delights, my fav being :the prosciutto , salami, jalapeno cheese, smoked gouda, & habanero. To wash down all this goodness I opted for some red wine, Tried the popular Dare devil red which was good but my personal favorite was the Rapid Red which was more sweet tasting. All in all it was a really great time and relaxing atmosphere. Was able to enjoy good food and wine with friends and family. After the hectic mess of 2020 it was a breath of fresh of air to just relax and have a quiet evening. Will gladly stop by again on my next Colorado trip.

Hidden gem!! What a great experience! Friendly owners, fantastic atmosphere, and delicious food and wine! What more could you ask for?

My husband and I ate here last night and it was amazing! We stayed at the Ouray Manor for 2 nights as well (which was absolutely perfect). The food was delicious and very well priced. The wine flight was so good, I honestly had a hard time choosing a favorite because they were all so unique and flavorful. The atmosphere was wonderful as well. We sat out in the garden, Frank Sinatra playing in the background, and watched the sun set and the Amphitheater mountains turn red. Would give more stars if possible. Amber and Danielle have a great spot!

This place is so beautiful and the ladies that helped us out were wonderful people. We had a big party and called to see if they were open unaware that they were closed. They answered us and said that they would be happy to open for us since we were a bigger sized party. When we arrived the ladies were so welcoming and kind and it was such a personal experience. The food was absolutely phenomenal and the wine was delicious. Thank you so much for making our visit to Ouray so special.

A group of four of us ate at Ania's Table at the hotel Lumiere. The food and experience was…read moreexcellent, until Kenny (Ania's husband) made the evening less than excellent. Our party witnessed Kenny having multiple glasses of wine throughout the evening, and this likely contributed to our issues. After a delicious meal and experience we were presented with a receipt that erroneously stated we had one more drink than we ordered. The meal was over $800, so a $20 drink error should have been corrected with no issues. However Kenny insisted he was correct, and then we overheard him say to cancel our reservation. 30 minutes after we paid (including the extra drink we did not order) our Open Table reservation was canceled so now we can't leave a review on Open Table. Dine here at your own risk. The food is delicious, but be aware of drinking issues by the chef's husband.

When was the last time you ate somewhere and then cancelled your next evening's reservation…read moreelsewhere so that you could return to this same restaurant again? Yes - it is that good. Let me give you the deets: First of all...it is up at Mountain Village. The Little Bar at the Lumiere (per OpenTable.com), is nicely located at the intimate 28-room* Lumiere Hotel (near the gondolas). You take the garage elevator to the 4th floor and voila...swanky, cozy, elegant lounge. It is IMHO (in my honest opinion) TELLURIDE'S BEST KEPT SECRET! A Conde Nast top 100 hotel...and the bar + restaurant is exceptional. Lumiere Little Bar staff Kat and Alex took excellent care of us as we selected a cozy corner of this beautifully understated, mountain cozy bar lounge. The fireplaces, lounge tunes (think Zero 7 and Bitter:Sweet), and ambiance here are like a Four Seasons private residence lounge, but with even better food! I knew we were in for a treat when we asked each of these lovely Lumiere ambassadors what they like on the menu, and both were GUSHING about the food...and both struggled to find the words to explain just why the dishes tasted so good. It was geniune...honest...they were still gushing. We started to get the idea that perhaps we were going to be amazed with our dishes no matter which ones we chose. We chose items based on their recommendations: the caesar salad, short rib taco, mushroom lasagna. We weren't starving since we had a large lunch, but we were eager to see what all this fuss was about! First up was the bread basket. It included a couple of lovely, warmed ciabatta rolls (whole grain wheat and plain) with salted butter. Excellent, traditional start. Then the caesar. The caesar dressing is amazing. Magic. Made with...love? The balance of lemon, garlic, white anchovy, the texture of the parmesan...wow. Best caesar in memory. Truly. Then, the short rib taco. OMG. Three letters. F*c%$ng Awesome. Fourteen letters. Either way, it rocked. The flavors in it...salty, tangy, sweet...umami. Perfection. The lasagna...WOW. Three letters again. F*c7$ng Incredible. You do the math. Meantime, I'm eating the lasagna. (Diversion - that's my strategy.) The lasagna...deconstructed to a certain degree with a melange of vegetables and lentils off to the side, with a gorgeously fried tofu cube...the crispy lasagna pasta layers atop creamy goat cheese, ricotta...mushrooms. Right about now, I started to formulate my strategy to maintain room for dessert. That lemon tart with chocolate, hazelnut crust, vanilla whipped creme and berry compote...definitely had my number. As in 911. Urgent and immediate attention required. The dessert arrived and you know you love someone (or you're just pretty mind-blowingly thoughtful) when you put down your fork and say, "...oh no - you go ahead and eat the rest. I'm full." I did not even remember to take a picture before devouring it. I could have eaten an entire tart by myself. Not one 'dessert' portion. The whole tart. I can peddle up the mountain again tomorrow to burn those calories, I think to myself. Piece of tart, err um, I mean cake. I learned that Chef Eamonn O'Hara is the magic man behind the curtain. I think we ought to erect a monument in his name. My guy suggested an addition to Mt Rushmore. I say Rushmore isn't thinking big enough. Yep - it's passionate, head-over-heels-love at Foodie first taste Mr. O'Hara. Meantime, I guess we'll just have to go back tomorrow night for another dining revelation as we figure out to get this guy's magic to reach us back home in Boulder, CO. For now, I just say make this a MUST DINE while in Telluride or the surrounding, say, 500 miles. Alex, Kat, Chef Eamonn...You da bomb. We'll see you in 24. *18 guest rooms, 10 residences as we learned. In any case, it's intimate, charming and understated.

Stopped in here tonight and loved it!…read more When we first walked in the owners Scott and Juli happily greeted us and immediately made us feel like a part of the Wild Horse Wine & Whiskey family. The ambience is awesome...décor is western/rustic meets comfy. The cozy leather couch and two side chairs in front of the fireplace is such a nice space! Their wine & whiskey menu was very enticing, but we opted for some tasty Chardonnay. We didn't order any food, but they've got some yummy looking charcuterie boards...next time for sure! Overall I really dug this place and wholeheartedly welcome them to the Montrose community! Y'all know how much I love to support my local businesses! :-) Check them out! You won't be disappointed!

That's not an exaggeration, I timed it. Their menu has an extensive list of Colorado whiskeys but no descriptions of the flavor profile. I asked for a recommendation, and without asking for any of my preferences they recommended one in the cheapest / one star section. There wasn't much of an explanation behind their suggestion and no tasting notes. Not surprisingly, it wasn't great. I had planned to stay awhile for a few drinks but between that and the awkward empty vibe, I waited (another long wait) for the check and left. I hate to leave a bad review for a small business but this one just missed the mark completely.
