To make things worse, he left my pool without chlorine, allowing algae to start growing. On top of all that, he overcharged me thousands of dollars for pool cleaning and didn't even use the right chemicals to treat the water. The measurements were off and I was actually refunded money because of it but now I'm stuck with a pool that is smaller in size and there's nothing I can do about it, and my backyard is huge and can accommodate a larger pool.. The waterfall has a leak, I contacted the company and can't get a return call, I believe it was still under warranty when I called. I feel the deep end is a joke. A freeform pool that was supposed to be 16x38- it's only 16ft at the entrance , and there's not enough room to dive in and barely enough room to jump in because it's so narrow. I wish I had stuck to a rectangle shape, that way these contractors cant cheat people by cutting corners on size with a freeform pool. I wish I would've gone with Tropical Paradise Pools- their price was close but I had already signed paperwork with this company. Oh, and I had someone call me to get a reference and they told me that Joe, the owner was talking trash about his previous customer who " wanted to throw a pool party and needing a completion date". Well, yeah, if I keep getting told a certain date and it keeps getting extended I'm gonna ask, after all I was promised this project would take 3 months, not 6. All in all I'm glad I have a pool but every time I go into my backyard, I'm very disappointed. I regret not going with Tropical Paradise Pools. Futhermore , in my experience its difficult to invite alot of people for pool parties because there isnt room for them to fit because of the narrowness of the pool. Also, if you deal with Joe's girlfriend/office manager Melissa long enough she might snap on you requiring you to complete the process with someone else in the office. The concrete this company uses is dirty. In the pics you will see the difference in the 3ft of concrete around the pool that was used by Sundance Pools and the quality used by a concrete company. I have the dates/receipts to prove the good concrete was poured AFTER my pool was built too. As with any situation there are always 2 sides to the story and no company likes a bad review so of course denial will be part of the response as seen below. This behavior is exactly the behavior I'm talking about and also why we have First Amendment laws, anti SNAPP laws and Consumer Affairs Review Fairness Act. I guess she doesnt know this but she will. The project started on time and finished right around when Joe estimated it would, and he even handled us changing a few details last minute like a true Pro. And of course what everyone wants to know... how much did it cost? Sundance is priced SO much better than the other quotes we got. Premier and Swan both gave us quotes that were insanely over the price we paid Sundance, and since the quality we got was great... I would highly recommend this company.
