Went here on Saturday July 5th 2025 with my dad to pick up some sandwiches that we ordered for a party. First we headed to the back and picked up the sandwiches, which were ready on time. Guy helped us with our order, and also cut up separate lettuce and tomato that wasn't on the sandwich . We then brought some coleslaw, eggs, and milk, as well as some ice and chips. We also brought some modelo beer. Aisles were clean, there was plenty of ice stocked, and everyone we dealt with was pleasant. We cater sandwiches because we have always enjoyed their sandwiches, made fresh and delicious. Highly recommend Bj's! Hope to be back soon! read more

The gas pump attendant pissed me off so much Today Thursday 2/12/26 that I left to another gas station to fill up my tank. I 'm going to cancel my membership! My car was literally right next to the booth he could've came out and speak politely instead of yelling from an unk intercom my pump number. It took me a minute to realize that he was talking to me since it was my first time using the pump at this location. YES it was freezing that's why he didn't bother exiting the booth ‍ then wants to ask in a nicer tone a few shouts later. I'm very disappointed! Great BJ's location in Monroe/Central Valley area. Unfortunate that we don't have a Costco around here, but BJ's has always been a good place. They have a big selection of groceries, dried goods, snacks, frozen sections, meats, cleaning products, office supplies, tech gadgets, bakery/cakes, clothing/books/toys - there's something for everybody in the family. I believe they have either weekly or monthly newsletters that come out with special coupons that you can use for select items. You may also check them online and download virtual coupons on your phone to bring to the store. During COVID, they have cart and hand sanitizers at the entrance, as well as section off the check out areas with plastic plexiglass dividers, for shoppers and employee safety. read more

This store is getting the one star because of the nasty unprofessional lady they have working the exit door checking peoples receipts. I will not mention her name but two times that I have come her she has been nasty and always had something to say. And it just wasn't with us she picked and choose who to be nasty with. It was so obvious that a store cashier walked by and apologized for her nastiness. read more

The quality of their meat has gone down dramatically, it was very good at one point but now it's full of fat, even the filet mignon which is supposed to be all meat no fat or bone.....fruits and vegetables spoilt fast.........sad read more

We are in this area each summer and I had an offer to join BJ's again, after many years and having become a Costco member. This particular location, unfortunately while convenient, has limited organic produce. There are no frozen organic fruits. Very limited selection of protein bars that aren't loaded with a dozen additives. read more

The BJs has a self checkout and none of the checkouts have a scanner. Further the table you put the stuff on does not register that you put your food on it. It took 15 minutes to check out myself and I had like 8 items. Ridiculous!! When I asked why o scanners. She said corporate told us we can't have them for self checkout. Again ridiculous!! read more

Haven't been in this location for a while and I'm so glad they finally added self check out lanes. Saturday's can be a nightmare coming here to shop, but I was in and out today which I'm loving so much right now. The one issues I do have with this location is a good portion of the staff are not too friendly, but not every place is going to be peaches and cream now a days. BJ's is a most go to spot whenever you don't feel like heading off to Walmart which also can be a nightmare on Saturdays also. By all means I would recommend this location to all my friends and family since the other BJ's closes is in Rockland which is a 1/2 hour drive I don't like making since this one is only 5 mini up the street from my place. To me all these wholesales spots are the same, but once in a while your chance a better deal than the other ones are offering, but once again this is a go to spot for me always whenever I need something real quick for the house or for our shops. read more

Me and my mother had been loyal members for bj's for 10 years and today me and my mother were shopping and we had a basket with a top and once we had payed and went to the front to get our receipt we were waiting in line, this white man had bought a basket similar to ours and she didn't check inside it for stuff but since me and my mother were Hispanic she had a suspicious look and said she had to check it, this isn't the first time this has happened to us. read more

You must have a sad life if actually believe overworked & probably underpaid workers should treat you like royalty. Shop, pay and go home where you can criticize your mate and kick the dog. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Best Bj's Store ever been at. Very organized, clean, amazing customer service. The General Manager Jorge, Stacy and Mike, the produce guy, Sasha, Joe, Justin, Liza are amazing. I come here every other weekend and I love it. Lines are small and I feel the best of all is that they never run out of items, except Goodnight's size L/XL. Meats are always fresh, they have a good variety of beers but wine is quiet limited. JORGE and Stacy are very accommodating. Happy to give them my business. read more

I always buy my tires at this BJ's and went there today to get tires rotated and none of bays were being worked in.They were apparently too busy as one guy was eating lunch and other was doing nothing. Please don't go near there. My third time trying and called a so called manager that explained the guy had to have lunch which I totally understand. My experience was AWFUL!!! I ordered on-line for a pickup. You have to go into the store. The line was LONG and no one was social distancing. There was ONE line for returns and the same line for pickups - even if paid in advance. The line out of the store was right next to the line to go to the customer service counter - so Social distancing was nearly impossible. There was no one to help to tell you which line. It was the worst store experience since this covid-19 started - by far. I may never go back there. There was no one to enforce or even encourage social distancing and no one to offer help. read more

I shopped in BJ's Harriman today for a few basic items one of which was a gallon of milk. When I got home discovered that the milk was leaking. Don't know if it was tampered with but I want to exchange it. I called the store several times meaning three or more and I could not get through the automated system to reach a person. The general mailbox is full. I called each department on the Q just to see if I can get a person and you cannot. I give them zero stars. Possible tampered product and I cannot get anybody to discuss it with. read more

Specifically with their auto center, I bought new tires on Black Friday and they did come in within a week or two like they said, however when I came in to have them put on my car and aligned I come to find out a few weeks later at my state safety inspection they didn't even bother aligning them!!! I've been driving around in an unsafe car for weeks! I commute down to NYC 3-4 days a week and easily could've lost control and crashed due to their negligence!!! Good deal on tires, but DO NOT trust their "alignment", go to actual professionals!!!! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Probably the worst BJs store in the whole network. Paramus and Fishkill are very good stores. But at BJs Monroe when you buy tires and they have to order them in because they carry almost no stock. When you pay upfront, they refuse to give you a receipt or even a copy of the receipt. Then online you try to check the status order and the sale does not show up in your account. So you have no receipt, no order recorded online and no way of checking. Perfect Friendly Customer Service _NOT!!! BJ Tires is virtually never available by phone cause the guy's always getting lunch, dinner or out for a smoke and you can't leave a message. When you do finally get a hold of him ( after 7 tries and 4 days later ) he tells you "he cannot and will not tell you the status because he's not allowed to and does not have access to receiving" - "you'll have to call "receiving" ." He's just to lazy to call another department or even transfer your call. When you call "Receiving" you go to voicemail and no one calls back. Pathetic Customer and Member Service. Frankly, why the heck am I paying a membership fee if there's no friggin' service. Not only that BJs never tells you that the manufacturer has coupon for the product - case in point Bridgestone Tires had a $70 discount sale for 60 days(Still ongoing), but BJs only honors it for 30 days. Plus their cost was $10 more per tire than Mavis Tires and Mavis honors the rebate for the full 60 days. As far as I'm concerned, that's it I won't renew my membership with BJs - its just not worth- Its like going to Wal-mart - no service, not the best deals and a $100 membership fee to boot. By the way in order to get your $100 membership fee (with the 2% rebate) back you have to spend $5000. Such a great deal right. read more

I don't understand how this place is still open. Does management oversee or even care how poorly the customer experience is here? At all times, even on a busy weekend, they only have ONE register open with a human being operating it. Everyone else funnels into the self-checkout where every other second the person needs assistance because the machines are not able to understand human behavior and always need help. It took close to an hour just to get out of there. Yesterday I went and my credit card was not working on the self-checkout line and a supervisor told me to take my items to customer service where they would be able to further assist me. I walk over and there is ONE person working there and a line already 6 people deep. It was taking FOREVER. I finally walked up to the kid who checks your receipts upon existing and asked if he could kindly page more people to help with the customer service line. He did but a few minutes later said nobody responded. We started talking and he told me they are horrible staffed and the cashier situation is a constant problem. Never buy a computer there. Last night I went and paid 518.99 for a computer. Got it home all excited and set it up. It was registered to another person and I could not use it. brought it back right away and was told by an extremely abrup manager that the serial number was off by a digit from the number on the box and it was used and they could not give me money back without permission from the upper manager. they then told me it would be one or two days before they decide. WTF????? Did they think I would spend that money just to make this up. I called the bank and put a stop check on it. Never ever buy from them. Years ago I bought a computer had to be returned also because it malfunctioned. They are horrid. read more

This store has gone way downhill since it opened! I was there today to buy a basketball hoop, it was the last one so I bought the demo model. When I went back with a truck to pick it up a few hours later the base was full of water so we couldn't move it. Trying to find help was ridiculous, no one knows anything! Finally Craig came to help and we got it emptied. Then we couldn't find the paperwork for it, they claimed not to have it, this store sucks! read more
