Went there yesterday at 2:30pm (Saturday) and the place was half full. The dr. pepper tasted weird like the syrup/carbonation was off. The waitress seemed nice but tired. She rarely checked on us and the food took forever. I don't pretend to know everything that was going on behind the scenes but the restaurant was not busy at all. I brought my family of six to celebrate my birthday to BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, and we were genuinely excited. What followed was two hours of some of the worst service I have experienced at a restaurant in awhile. Four of us ordered the all you can eat soup, salad, and pizookie deal. In nearly two full hours, we each received exactly one bowl of soup and one salad. That is not all you can eat, that is a single serving with an extreme wait attached to it. The pace of service was so painfully slow that we ended up taking our pizookies to go just so we could finally leave and have a real celebration at home. To make matters worse, we asked for a manager and one never came to our table. That alone says everything about how this location is being run. I understand restaurants get busy, but this was my birthday dinner with my family, and it was a complete disappointment from start to finish. We will not be returning to this location. read more

The food was good. We had the prime rib special. The prime rib was cooked to our liking. My husband ordered a loaded baked potato but they were out. This was a Friday at 4:00 pm so we were surprised that they were out. Our server must have been over loaded with tables because it took two rounds of other people in the tables next to us to be served and left before we finished with receiving and eating our meals. My family & I were excited to try the pizookie meal deal. My sister ordered the smash burger and fries. Burger was average. My mom & I shared the Southern fried chicken meal and an order of honey bbq wings. The presentation of the fried chicken was a disappointment. The cream gravy coated the crispy fried chicken and made it soggy. I compared the picture on the app. The cooks need to place the fried chicken so it's standing up with the gravy at the bottom. The chicken, mashed potatoes and corn were tasty but I don't think I'd order it again. The 5 honey bbq wings came with 4 flats and 1 drum. I asked my server Alexa why we didn't get 2 drums so she bought out drum. The ranch dressing was very thin. The triple chocolate pizookie were the highlight of the meal. A solid choice for dinner out. I've been to BJ's a number of times with my mother in law as it's one of her favorite restaurants and honestly I can't fault her for it. No matter what I try, it's always pretty delicious. There's a ton of different options to choose from on the menu, nothing too crazy or adventurous mind you, but it always hits. I highly recommend the Spicy Peanut Chicken with Soba Noodles if allergies aren't an issue. The portions here are so large that you'll have ample leftovers no matter what you order, and there's quite a few fun drinks to choose from. The servers have always been excellent, the restaurant consistently sparkling clean, and I've only ever experienced one mild mishap in the several years I've visited them. I'm sure to be back, there's no doubt, and I look forward to trying something new when I do. If you give BJ's a try, make sure to order yourself the newest Pizookie flavor à la mode! read more

Out of the house for a doctor visit and stopped in for a pizza: whoever scienced out this pizza got the timing perfect. Ranch refills materialized like she had a sixth sense. I'm convinced she can read minds or at least subtle eyebrow movements. We ordered the Pizookie (obviously), and Kat delivered it with the kind of enthusiasm usually reserved for championship trophies. She even timed it perfectly so it arrived at peak "ice cream melting but cookie still sizzling" excellence. That's not service. That's art. She checked on us just enough to make us feel cared for, but not enough to interrupt the important business of demolishing appetizers. A true professional. A hospitality ninja.
