The worst restaurant in Framingham! The service is horrendous. The food is horrendous. The customer service is horrendous! BJ's needs to stick to their warehouse! The audacity of a waitress telling us that we only gave one credit card when we gave 2 and actually fighting with us about it, and come to find out one of the other bartenders, had the other card! I will never ever go there again, and I will never ever recommend that place. I've gone there three times and each time it was horrendous, but this was the final straw! And by the way, when I called to talk to a manager, I wasn't only hung up once but twice! That should tell you what a dump. This place is!! Hopefully it doesn't last long! read more

We love coming here for lunch! The best waitress/bartender on the planet is Liz. They are so lucky to have such a dedicated and thoughtful server on their staff! The only complaint is they took the S'mores Pizookie off the menu. It was the only one that ever rivaled the Monkey Bread. read more

We went on a Sunday night which is usually not a great night for restaurants. Food was solid and the menu options were huge. Avocado eggrolls were delicious. Fried chicken sandwich was very good. Good beer selection. Service was amusing. Our hostess was adorable but her brain was someplace else. Had to ask us three times about our drink selections and menu selections. Went here on a Sunday after a graduation. The place was packed. Had to wait for about 20-25 minutes to be seated. Another 20 mins to order. we ordered appetizers and drinks to start. It was a party of 5, and it took another 20 mins for them to bring just the drinks which was ridiculous. the server said that the delivery folks were different from the wait staff, and it was on them that they were late. Food was not that great either. Limited choices not worth 3hrs of time. Very poor service. The. only good thing was the dessert. read more

Loved the steak, loved the classic chicken sandwich and loved the caesar salad!! Only criticism is that the grilled chicken was a bit dry, but it was still very good compared to other chains that I've been to. Food was average and the beer was less than average. Service was really bad. I waited well over 20 minutes with an empty beer glass at the edge of the bar and my utensils/napkin on my plate and not one server asked if I wanted another drink or if I was done with my food. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. I had the Asian salad and my husband ordered the chicken sandwich with French fries and coleslaw (next time we will ask to hold the salt and place the slaw on the dish, not the sandwich.) The food came quickly (5 o'clock ish) and was hot. We sat at the bar area and received excellent service. The Tito's mixed drinks were only $6 each due to the early hour. We went to a matinee and tried this for a 5pm dinner. The place is huge and seemed nice. The draw was half price pizza special on Mondays. So thought a couple of beers and pizza was perfect. Original price for the pizza is $32 dollars and the half price was what I normally pay for pizza at other locations. The pizza was good but nowhere near $32 dollars worth. I find that very high. Our local restaurant makes pizza and calzones equally as good and flavorful for around $17 same size just not as doughy. Feels a bit like a scam. read more

We came by here today for a late lunch on a whim, just seeing the large new place on rt. 9. Our party of five was very happy with it. It's a huge place, with very long beer (and cocktail) and food menus. The food took a little while to come out, but everything was good and a couple of the items we had special requests for and it all came out as requested. The server did a great job. I have been wicked excited to go here since they opened! The environment is cool with tall ceilings and outdoor dining options. We went for lunch on a Sunday and it was quite busy. Like a lot of the reviews we found service to be pretty slow which is understandable considering how new they are. The food was good but honestly felt it was kind of run of the mill pub food. We just ordered a bunch of apps to share, the nachos were absolutely ginormous and could probably feed 8 people! In general the portions were all pretty big. The chicken on the nachos wasn't very good and otherwise they were nothing special. The rootbeer boneless wings were different and quite yummy as were the cous cous Mac and cheese balls. Everything was good but as I said nothing to special that would have me running to come back. I did love the piezookis though!! We got the trio which is three mini ones and you can choose the flavors. I really liked this option because then we got to sample a few of them and I can honestly say they were all delicious! These are definitely worth coming back for and I would love to try their other flavors as well! Prices seemed fair, it was around $73 before tip which is pretty standard at most restaurants like this these days and we certainly had more than enough food to fill us and take home leftovers! Overall very good. Just wanted to leave a review because our server Kiana, was 100/100. Warm, welcoming, patient. My friend wanted to "go off the menu" a bit and Kiana problem solved it in the moment and directed my friend to exactly what she wanted and in a way that made sense for her restaurant and the kitchen staff in the moment. Really top notch stuff. We even ordered dessert and let her know we were going outside to smoke a cigarette and Kiana went through the trouble of walking out the side door to where we were to let us know it was on the table with ice cream. The customer service here is pretty terrible. The hosts were very rude and complaining about our large party and made all of us sit in separate booths, even when the restaurant had a large amount of available seating and after continuously advocating for wanting to all sit together. When we asked if we could make a reservation they said they don't do that. They were also audibly huffing and puffing and rolling their eyes at us, even when we were polite and came up with lots of solutions. Not coming back here again. So rude. read more

Last night, I went with a very pregnant friend and a few others (5 of us) and they gave us a booth. The baby bump did not fit in the booth. So we asked if we could sit at a different table with chairs, or pull up a chair to that table or any other, and they said no! Multiple times. There were plenty of open tables, some with other diners eating right next to them, but we were told no, for various reasons (there is no wait staff assigned to that empty table, the chair would stick out, a waiter at another table is going home soon...) While I understand staff shortages, what about reasonable accommodations?! Or customer service? Is it really not possible to have a waiter move their serving area down 5 feet to the right to an empty table to accommodate a pregnant person? I have never come across a restaurant so inflexible and insensitive. I cannot give my future business to a place like this. read more

I'm updating my review from last time and adding an extra star. I got the mandarin salad and it was very fresh and a really good portion. We got mozzarella sticks that were decent but seemed a little under done and we split a Pazooki that was delicious. Last time we went was just for the Pazooki alone because it was worth getting the three sampler. It's definitely improved dramatically since the first day we want. First time was two stars and now we're up to 4. I will definitely order from them again. read more

Been here a dozen times over the last few years and I feel this place is going downhill. I have had great bone in wings and decent meals here in the past with good beer. The last few times the service was pretty slow (wait 40 minutes for food), same this time around. Prices going up (I suppose they are everywhere but $4 for a fountain soda is a bit much) and not only did it take 40 minutes to get my wings they brough the wrong ones out (boneless, so basically chicken nuggets, not bone in) followed by a meal that was under seasoned of just not so great. My wife's tuna tar tar app had a bland taste and felt too creamy or mushy in texture, slaw that came as a side with a sandwich was real bad, very little flavor, needed some lemon or other acid badly, and my chicken salad was just OK but at that point I was frustrated and disappointed I had to cancel my wings as I didn't want to wait another half hour for the kitchen to make them right, and just wanted to leave at that point. I don't think we will be coming back for a while as there are other decent places to eat in that Manchester mall area. Maybe if I'm in the area for lunch weekdays I will try the cheaper lunch menu deals and see if things improve next year. read more

This restaurant has such a long way to go. I was so excited to have another option in Framingham! But this experience was just not good. Our appetizer order came out incorrect after waiting for 20 minutes and we still didn't have silverware or napkins. Our beers took forever to be refilled. We got bad service when we asked for a booth and the host said we don't have a server there and only 5 people can sit there with a disrespectful tone. We went there two weeks before and we asked the server if we could move tables and our sever was okay with it , and let us move to a booth unlike this time. Second time ordering from here, will be our last. For the amount of money they charge, the quality of the food is poor. First time ordered the chicken Mediterranean pita pockets. Small and with barely any chicken in them. We chalked it up to having just opened the location. Ordered for the second time weeks later; chicken ranch pizza and hardly any chicken. Pizza dough was soft, like the bottom was never cooked even though we ordered it well done. Had to put in our toaster oven but that didn't solve the lack of the main ingredient. Never again. On Sunday July 17th my friend and I dined here and sat at the bar. It was very busy even for a Sunday and our first time here. We were served by Mohammed and Jessie. I ordered the Sparkling Sangria, Mediterranean Tacos, and ended my meal with the Salted Caramel Pakoozie. I wish I took a photo of my meal but forgot to with how quickly I drank and ate each delicious meal. Ok so where to start .. to say the food the service, and the food and the service and the food and the service.. wow you only need to get two things right for a good review... unfortunately they failed enormously!.. so I should have packed the family up the minute ten minutes went by and the only drink on the table was my sons diet soda, why my drink and my wife's would only arrive after I hunted the waitress down is beyond me but I said ok let's play along.. then my dinner salad shows up but with nothing else did .. after a few uncomfortable moments of me eating it in front of family ( I didn't eat all day) I decided to wait for the appetizers to arrive the loaded nachos and boneless chicken nuggets or rather I don't know but there was no chicken ..after about 30 more minutes still nothing but drinks and my lonesome salad ... the waitress arrived to apologize for the delay they were backed up in kitchen.. meanwhile they place is crawling with black shirts standing around doing what I have no idea but clearly not one single person on that floor cares about anything that was going on. These kids were not food service front of the house staff they lacked in training they lacked in process and they lacked in understanding that issues need to be complained to the manager when the kitchen is in shambles. Because it affects the waitresses bottom line ..anyway lo and behold within 45 minutes now all the dinners the appetizers sides showed up at once and when I complained as to what was going on from three different food runners and waitress I got the what should I do now look of total unprofessional attitude. So I kindly said please get a manager. The manager who seamed to want to help was more interested in me telling her what would make this situation correct? Like really you don't know ? She asked if I would like to have some of the items brought back I told her why? Look at it everything is cold ? Nacho's didn't have half of the listed ingredients chicken was chopped up and just tossed on the nacho's like whatever.I've had better at AMC and off the box.. so I told her look your the manager you understand all of what is happening here is unacceptable by any standards in the food world ( as I've been in it for 40 years and still own and operate a local restaurant so again this was as much about checking out the competitors as it was trying something new.. and no they do not impact me I'm far to far away .. but I recognize poor training, sub quality ingredients and a focus on what the place looks like and beer selection that actually feeding folks good quality food so the beers and the ambiance can be totally enjoyed.. but this place it's manager and it's training team have done a poor job and unfortunately if they don't change this place will close like so many before it in this community that is really craving and wanting a true place to go dinner and have great food great drinks and a great time and this place is not it and it won't take long for Framingham residents to figure it.. in the end the mangers solution was to comp me apps and one dinner .. and I thank you for that. Unfortunately the one who suffered the most on that was the poor waitress who basically got complained on, was totally scared because of the lack of training so she could identify a issue that needed to be handled.. so I made sure I found her on the way and gave her a 50% tip because in the end it wasn't her fault , for poor quality, poor training, poor kitchen staff and management in there .. sorry BJs is exactly that a BJ save your money and time and eat some please you know and trust because it's not going to better this is a problem at the top.. read more

A group of 5 of us stopped here for an earlier dinner before a movie. The wait for 5 people at 5 pm was about 20 minutes. There were many open tables and booths, but we were informed that the staff for those areas was not there yet. We were taken to our booth where it was still being cleaned, and when it was done the seats were still wet. A kind waiter came over to wipe the seats while we waited. The host that brought us to our seat didn't seem to think it was an issue the seats were wet. ‍ The waiter was fantastic, however they were out of the first beer and cider two of us ordered. Appetizers (egg rolls, potstickers) were delicious. We ordered a large Buffalo chicken pizza and a garden vegetable mini pizza and a burger. The mini pizza was tasty, but lukewarm at best, and the large pizza was mostly dough, lacking toppings and also lukewarm. The burger was warm, but the fries were not. With the exception of the waiter, the apps and burger, our visit was not the best. I'd like to give this place another try, atmosphere is good and the beers and cider we did get were good. If the majority of our food had been hot, it would've made all the difference. read more

Not my first time at a BJ's Brewhouse. And it's also not the first time that the same thing has happened. On entering everything looks great immediately greeted and seated. But on a lunchtime visit twice now after being seated we waited an excessive amount of time today I timed how long it took from the time we were seated until a server approached the table and it was 18 minutes. This restaurant opened after covid and I'm not overlooking the fact that it's difficult to staff but this isn't a staffing issue it seems more like a problem with communication within the location. Sitting for 18 minutes waiting for a server to approach the table when you're on a time to lunch break doesn't work for most people and hopefully they can figure out a better way to alert the wait staff when there is new customers waiting to be served in their sections. Food is always good and the root beer if you like root beer is amazing. read more
