I had been to a BJs before in a different state. Really enjoyed it- great food and great service. Drove by this one a couple times and finally decided to stop in. Totally spoiled this brand for me and I will never be going back to this location (and probably will never go back to another BJs again, in general). It was that bad. For some reason the manager decided today that half of the menu would not be available- no sliders, no sandwiches, no burgers, etc. We had already sat down before we were notified of this, and based on the last experience in another state, decided to just try other menu items. Literally everything we got was terrible. We could have filled 2-3 takeout boxes with our leftovers and decided to just leave it there to go in the their trash because we knew that, if we brought it home, it would sit in our fridge for a week and then go in our trash. Our waitress was nice and worked hard, but the management at this restaurant has set the place up for failure. From inexplicably deleting half the menu, to overlooking overall cleanliness in the restaurant, to not providing the staff what they need to be successful. To illustrate the absurdity, at one point we ordered a bunch of drinks for the group, and they had to bring multiple staff members over to deliver the drinks in unison because apparently they "ran out of trays." Immediately it became clear that multiple of the glasses were dirty and had food residue on them, but we felt bad about complaining at this point and just set them aside. The one positive of this experience is that, whenever I drive by a BJs from now on, I will have 0 temptation to stop in. read more

Went here with my father for lunch for the first time as he has been several times with friends and recommended it. The service was top notch as our waiter was very attentive and friendly. We started off with Mozzarella Sticks which were nice and crispy outside. It was a very generous serving for an appetizer. Both of us got burgers with fries. The burger tasted like it was cooked on a grill outside and was cooked exactly the way I like it. The fries tasted very good, but came out luke warm which is my only small complaint. A Saturday late lunch with the bar full. I sat down in a spot that needed to be cleared. After waiting about 10 minutes, the barback asked if I'd like a drink. I asked if she could wipe the table for me. Many minutes later she came back after walking past me several times avoiding eye contact. Two couples came and sat beside me and left after being ignored for a good 15 minutes each. After waiting quite some time, I asked her to check on my sandwich. I can't even explain that whole process... The next couple arrived and ordered cocktails. 15 minutes later the barback came and said she had to wait for the bartender to make the drinks as she could not. If I could give a zero I would. We went on a Monday night around 6:30 and sat at the bar. It was not very busy. After 10 minutes we flagged someone down to wipe it clean, and give us menus and waters. We ordered drinks, they came 10 minutes later. We also ordered apps at the same time, which after almost an hour never came. In the meantime, the bartender left, the barback was trying to fix all the orders for everyone at the bar, but couldn't log into the computers or figure out what was what. Finally a manager showed up, but all she did was help all the new folks, not all the ones that had been there already and had not received service or food for over an hour. This is unacceptable, and I will not be going back. They should be ashamed of the way they treated folks. the ONLY reason we stayed was so that we could pay for our drinks, as we did not want to just walk out. read more

I was so excited about having a BJ's come to town but was so disappointed after trying this location. The staff and service was great but the food was definitely not on the same level as the other BJ locations. We tried to get two items both were unavailable then we got their deep dish pizza mini along with one of their large salads. The deep dish looked like someone stepped on it and it wasn't even cooked all the way! I'm not only surprised they would serve someone that but they kind of acted like that was normal. I've eaten at BJs in California numerous times and the pizza has never looked like that or been served doughy. The salad was okay but it was drenched in so much dressing. Awful presentation. This restaurants serves steak&chicken plate similar manner as a street restaurant. The taste is awful also. Definitely not worth the 25$ per plate. If you ever been to restaurant called "99" which is a very cheap restaurant, their plate presentation is way better then this place. That's sad. They are short staffed so service is slooooow. Also the wait is horrible; again somewhat related to short staffing. Brewed iced teas is great. Lunches were good. Pizza is way overpriced... but a factor of two. While it looked good, the gourmet meat pizza was 80% bread. Now I like pizza crust, but this style is bizarre. Waitress by accident dropped sauce all over my handwoven bag. She brought the manager over to help compensate where he told us "corporate" would be in touch. Corporate reached out a week later and required a receipt for the bag, receipt for one trial to clean the bag, if then it didn't come out they would then consider a course of action. Very corporate and no reconciliation. Could have handled the situation a lot better. Never going back even the food was ok. read more

Came here during nba finals game. The joint was packed. We're asked to wait for 30 mins but got a table in 5 mins. The food was little disappointing. Nothing great. But run of the mill bar food which is well short of being tasty. Had the wings and they were barely covered with sauce. The sauce tasted canned/bottled. Them had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich. The chicken had a off putting taste probably due to old oil. Beers on the tap were ok. Staff were friendly and there were lots of screens around to watch the game. Came here with some friends as they had a good beer list and food. They had fairly good variety of beer with some local options as well as some of the staples. We wanted to order the deep dish pizza but the only size they had was the largest one so we unfortunately couldn't try it. Definitely a little surprised they couldn't do the two smaller sizes. So I decided to try this restaurant as I've driven by it many times on Rte 9 and thought "Hey why not". S0, it is here I ended up and as I walked in I thought "another warehouse type industrial restaurant brew pub". Yawn. It is very open with outdoor seating and I chose to sit at one of the booths after much deliberation with the hostess that I would rather sit at a booth than a table which created a lot of distress in this hostess in what appeared to be a restaurant with few customers and multiple open tables. I get it's not always the open tables but servers matched up with tables and well....just sit me wherever if it's that hard to get a booth. So, got sat at a dirty table with food bits scattered about and asked for a wipe down and got a quick wipe with a questionably dirty rag, Should I mention the food bits on the utensils that were steamed on. Well, there was that. Ordered a chicken sandwich and it wasn't bad at all. It was just super hard to eat and not have to just split apart spewing sandwich contents down upon a bed of fries. It was just super greasy and haunted me the rest of the day. Well, the plate the meal was served on was an aluminum tray the kind that primates are served fresh fruit and vegetable at the zoo, I felt like if I was at Attica or Shawshank this is what I would be served on before I got shanked. I felt myself dreaming of escaping through a sewer pipe. Now, I Give this review one star but the server was really good and I can't fault him and as such left him a solid tip. He was very attentive with drink refills and professional. The restaurant is in a busy area of Rte 9 and the used condom that was lying beside my car when I was leaving was a nice touch. We liked it when it first opened -- food was good enough and while there were some weird things (quoting you a 45-90 minute wait when the place was half full and then seating you in 10 minutes) it was decent. We went there recently and boy -- place almost empty. But it was 15 minutes before our server acknowledged us. Then it was close to an hour before our food came. And for like 20 bucks, mine (the steak and cheese sandwich) tasted like Arby's roast beef and the cheese had congealed into a rubbery mess with the onions and peppers because it had clearly been wilting under a heat lamp. My beer was also flat but our server was nowhere to be seen so I took it to the bar and they said, "Oh. We knew that because the keg is basically kicked." They could have told me when I ordered. Nobody was actually rude, but they need to get their s*** together. Either adequately staff the place or treat employees better (I've heard you're awful to your workers) so you can actually attract enough staff to give people something close to fair value. And don't bother with the "We never want to let our guests down, and it sounds like we missed the mark on your visit..." canned response from your marketing bot. Fix your problems instead. read more

It's my go to when I'm traveling through Natick. Consistent food and a good beer menu. Staff is genuinely nice and helpful.

On our first trip to BJ's we were amazed with the vast menu! We had a Fabulous waitress Rachel, who by the end of the night made us feel like family. We will be back to try more offerings. The beer was great and inexpensive compared to other brew houses. The Oasis amber ale was awesome. The couscous Mac n Cheese balls and garlic knots were great! The Kickin Chicken sandwich, boneless wings and seared Ahi Salad and Pacific Poke bowl outstanding!! Dinner for 4 with drinks was just what a dinner for 2 would cost elsewhere! We will back for more. I had the salmon of course, my darling wife had chicken Alfredo. It was an hour and 1/2 wait on a Friday night, that's ok, salmon was well cooked as well her chicken Alfredo. Food and drinks are good. It just depends on when you go regarding service. If you get certain unfriendly, rude, unprofessional bartenders, watch out! Erica & Liz are awful! They both are miserable people! I for the life of me don't know why an establishment would keep these people on the payroll. They are both downright rude to their fellow workers. I've seen them yell loudly at servers in front of a whole bar full of customers. They have tried to over charge me for drinks that are on special time and time again. They get mad if you try to order food at the bar. I witnessed Erica treat an elderly couple so rudely, I had to say something. I couldn't sit there and watch it happening anymore. I won't eat there anymore. The only reason I continue to go is because I work in town and the bartender Sophia is amazing! She is the complete opposite of the mean ones. Excited to see another restaurant option in the Natick Rte 9 stretch open. We tried two other times to eat here but the wait was over an hour and no open seats at the bar. Tonite we opted for 2 open seats at the bar vs. a 20 minute wait. There were tables open but must not have had enough staff to make them available. My wife and I both ordered the same item, Southwest BBQ Chicken Salad. After eating it for a few minutes I commented to her the lettuce tasted soggy/wet. She immediately responded hers had the same texture. Unfortunately, that wet soggy lettuce seemed to make the whole salad taste bland. Overall, we are left with an underwhelmed impression based on the long proposed waits on our previous visits and the poor food prep on this visit. Welcome to my first one star review. Zero if I could. I've had better lunch experiences in a high school cafeteria. I can't believe they have the absolute audacity to charge $14 for low quality frozen pizza. The only highlight of my food was that it was room temperature and it was bogo food hour. They legitimately found the most efficient method of weight loss, as we completely lost our appetites and became violently ill right after our first bites. Melodrama aside, this is the worst food I've ever had at an outrageous price, drinks weren't worth it. I don't see how this place is a chain, that implies they had some success before... wont last long unless some major food changes happen. Plenty of better restaurants around. Absolutely atrocious service from the bar. We were a group of 4 looking for a good way to end the night. We arrived and headed to the bar where we were greeted with extreme indifference and rudeness by the petite blonde female bartender. She proceeded to throw some menus at my group before going back to making faces at us and ignoring us. Though there were two bartenders present, they did not act as a team. Ordering was a challenge because she seemed more interested in everyone else but us. We FINALLY ordered and spent our time wondering when our food would get to us and IF our drink order would be input into the system. We keep trying but it never gets better! This was our 5th time visiting and yet again it was just mediocre! We got there about 12:30 and sat at the bar, the restaurant wasn't very busy. It took 25 minutes ( I timed it) to get our food....it's always a long wait time for food. My husband ordered the BJ' s kicking' chicken sandwich with fries and I ordered the Honey crisp chicken salad. My husband's food was warm but not hot and my salad was a soggy mess, my second time with a soggy salad ( I forgot to order dressing on the side) Do you premix the dressing with the salad because seems like it's way to soggy to be freshly made. Everything is just a soggy mess. The chicken on my salad was also on the cool side. We sat at the bar and the bartender made the excuse that they had to fry a lot of chicken and that why the food took so long, ok but why is it lukewarm at best if it was just cooked? I noticed it took a long time for any food to come out of the kitchen, not just ours. This has been a recurring theme every time we eat there. Most if not all of our friends who have tried your restaurant have had similar complaints. Not sure if we will be up for giving you another try. The BBC did it better! read more

Nice environment and the waitress was very good, but the food was disappointing. I had salmon that came with some very sweet cherry sauce on it, I could hardly eat it. Gave the restaurant a second chance and started off with very rude host staff that claim they have no call ahead seating even though it works on the web page. After talking with the manager it is a known glitch. One of our burgers came out raw, one over cooked with no cheese on the cheeseburger. They made a new burger and said they were going to comp it. For the other burger they brought out a slice of cheese . Not the same as melted on the burger but we let it go. They never comped the first burger but just the new one - were we supposed to pay for 2? The new manager from the south was very nice but had his hands full will many complaints we saw from others around us. With so many great places in the area we will never be back to this one.
