His contemptuous reply was much more troublesome than the fact that he refused to believe our photos and documented facts. We didn't call Bizzy Bee because we assumed that the mold inducing leak was not from the new toilet they installed just months before. We called Triangle Home Repair who noticed...after they had assessed the source of the leak, noticed that when the toilet was flushed, a new batch of water would emerge. Once it was reinstalled with proper wax ring...the problem was solved...after $1500 worth of repairs to damage. Mr President talked down to us as if we are stupid or liars, which I found inexcusable. So we decided to get a second opinion the and the REAL plumber showed up when out everything and basically told us that we DID NOT need a boilers. I highly suggest everyone who reads this message BE CAREFUL with these CROOKS they're out to take you money. The next day the sales rep called and I flipped out on him and gave us out money back for the visit. Excellent service! I called Monday afternoon to see if someone could come out in the next four days (guests staying for the weekend) to fix a moaning toilet, a leaky shower, a low-pressure shower, and a maintenance check on a water heater. After calling several other companies--Cary Plumbing, Waite Plumbing (who never answered or returned my call), Michael and Sons, etc.-- Bizzy Bee was the only one able to come that week, and although it may have just been luck, the scheduler said there was a cancellation and the very next day just opened up. The interaction was quick and easy; the only slight snag I might have is that Bizzy Bee works on an inspection fee (was $60 for me) first and does not give out estimates over the phone. This is understandable, because who knows what mess a plumber will be walking into, and, if we're all being honest, if we're calling a plumber to fix the issue, we're not as knowledgeable about the issue as we would like to think. It is a bit problematic if you take a day off work and the job ends up being bigger than expected (or parts need to be ordered), but I rather get the issue fixed correctly and have an accurate price quote after it has been looked at. The plumber who came out was Kenny Hoggs, and he is awesome! After a discussion of the issues and some inspection, Kenny went back to his truck to negotiate price with a supervisor. He came back and was upfront about how long it would take and what parts he would use. I have the benefit of having a father (lives across the country from me) who has been a plumber since he was 16; I, sadly, did not follow in his footsteps (the trades are booming, people!), and only picked up some basic skills. Yes, if I had the tools and the time, could I probably fumble around for several days and fix my issues while watching poorly lit YouTube videos? Maybe. Would some of it leak and potentially cause thousands of dollars of damage? Likely. I ran all the issues past my Dad and he let me know the price range I could expect for what I needed. Bizzy Bee came just under the average he suggested; as an expert in another field, I think the reviews discussing the expense of plumbing services need to remember that you are paying for expertise from a licensed plumber--not just the services being provided. Would you take the cheapest surgeon available for an important procedure? Kenny fixed all of my issues in three hours, was informative and open to any and all questions, and did not try to sell me anything I didn't need. I can easily say it was one of the best interactions I have had with a service provider. As long as Kenny is around, I will 100% take all of my plumbing needs to Bizzy Bee. I'm so grateful to Demetrus at Bizzy Bee Plumbing for the whole DAY of work he put into clearing the plumbing of a stoppage in my newly-bought house. The previous owner had flushed a bunch of stuff that shouldn't have been flushed, and they worked for hours on end to reach the stoppage. I called Bizzy Bee after my toilets had stopped flushing, and he was dispatched to us very soon after we called for assistance. The stoppage was so severe and hard to reach, that he had to call in backup to bring special equipment to fix it. His teammates arrived very quickly after he alerted them to the need for special equipment, and they were as polite and friendly as he was. This is gonna be long but i got to get this off my chest. good, bad and ugly. good: they arrived quick, told me what was up. i believed them, i believed they were right for the job... a whole new run from the water main to the water tank. the price was right, not the lowest estimate but not the highest either, i trusted the dudes, especially Ryan. Unfortunately Ryan and the other owners had to be out of town for a couple of weeks for a plumbing convention or something... they left me in the good hands of their people. the bad: 1st step was an 811 call to mark underground obstacles. I've personally used 811 a couple of times when i built a fence. they're usually out within 48 hours but now 5 days gone by and nothing... i call busy bee and they say the request is in and all we can do is wait. ok. a whole weekend, Monday, Tuesday Wednesday... nothing, i call bizzybee and they say we are still waiting, and inform me "they don't control 811's schedule" so just wait... ok. i personally call 811 and they have NOTHING from bizzybee or for my address. i call bizzybee and tell them this.. they say they'll call me back before close Wednesday... Thursday 4:30 still no call back so i call bizzybee. they assure me 811 will be there tomorrow, Friday. THEY FORGOT TO CALL 811, offered no apologies or explanation. meanwhile my water bill is 10x what it usually is so i'm anxious to get going... they say Monday morning at 8 am they will be there as the ground will have been marked by then. So another whole weekend of major water leak. $$$$$ out the window but ok. The ugly: 8am Monday morning. i have taken the day off work so i could be here because half this job is inside the house. i get a call at 7:55am saying they are cancelling the appt for today because of rain... it was literally drizzling out. LITERALLY! im told "sir we dont control the weather", I argued and asked if they could at least start on the inside and if weather permits they could finish outside? After all i'm missing a day pay and dont want to miss another because of drizzle. i hear her talking to the men, and hear him annoyed and say, "fine we'll head out". She says the men will be there in an hour, i say thank you and she says "mmhmm" all snarky and hangs up on me like i'm annoying her. 2+ hours later they show up, looking annoyed, i ask how are you doing , he responds "im cold and wet" in a grumble... i ALMOST asked them to leave right there but i need this damn thing fixed.. we chat it out, he changes his tone, shakes my hand and apologizes for the confusion. they leave to get parts, for more than an hour. id have hoped they be prepared but they weren't. then the younger kid is left alone, worked his ass off! good kid, he was! deserves a raise :) ...They finished the job in just 4 hours and it never rained more than a drizzle. they got an orange fence around the trench, which blocks my ability to use my front door, until an inspector can come. im told the office will take it from here and stay in touch. i pay in full. 2, 3, 4 days go by, nothing. i call bizzy bee because i know from experience inspectors usually show pretty quick but im told "sir we dont control the inspectors, he'll come when he comes" another weekend goes by, i call the inspectors myself... THEY HAVE NOTHING for my address or Bizzybee on the books... THEY FORGET AGAIN to call it in. i call bizzy bee AGAIN, ~~sigh~~ they say they'll call me back before closing, they dont. i call bizzy bee AGAIN the next day at 4:55 pm, just before they close and they say yes the inspector will be there tomorrow, Im like, Thanks for letting me know!! i had to call them to know i should be ready for the inspector, which included inside the house. MAN!!!! i was pissed!! Anyway the inspector comes, passes and they refill in the trench so poorly, so shoddily i had to spend a couple of weekend hours redoing it. i gave the 3 stars because they're work (when it finally happened) was fast and my problem is 100% fixed but i wouldn't recommend them based mostly on that office side of the company. im sorry for all the words but i had to get this terrible experience off my chest. read more

Day 1: Arrived hour late. Advised that the install is normally $275, but this one (touchless) would cost a little more. Proceeded. Reviewed plumbing and shutoff values. Values under sink were not closing. Advised that the replacing the shutoffs and reconnecting dishwasher and ice maker runs about $450 to $550. Six hours later (8PM), water is leaking under the sink. Agreed to shutoff cold water and resume efforts tomorrow. Day 2: Installed a new icemaker line. Did not resolve the issue. Replaced brand new copper piece from day before. Leak appears to be resolved. Replaced ice maker line again. End of job after 3 hours. Summary: Installed faucet, replaced ice maker line, replaced shutoff values, reconnected dish washer, 9 hours, 4 trips to the hardware store, for a total of $1100 with North Carolina tax. read more

I'm a first time home owner, who only went to closing a week and a half ago. I was having some repairs made to my home, and when I went to leave for the day, I realized all my carpets were flooded with water. I called Bizzy Bee and a plumber came out within 2 hours. He realized the issue and shut off the water. It had been a long, exhausting day so I really wanted to get home to take care of my puppy. The plumber was able to come back the very next morning and quickly repair the pipe. The charge for the repairs was definitely reasonable and I appreciate their quick service. read more

We were taken! I had a leak where my main water line came into the house. It came up to a T, and the leak was at the T. The fix was to cut the T out and replace with a new section. They arrived onsite at 4:22 and were gone before 5. I was told that they price their jobs on a flat rate based on difficulty. Ours was rated difficult. I can't see how the repair was difficult. I had already looked at it and pointed to the leak, told them they the T needed to be replaced and also told them that the pipe (old was poly, replaced with pex) was 1/2 inch on the right side of the T, 3/4 on the left, and 3/4 on the bottom. They just needed the T and the male ends to cut in the new T. We were charged $375. This is absurd. I would only recommend to people that they stay away to avoid being robbed. The only thing that kept me from making the repair myself is that I only have a 1/2 crimper and don't have a wrench to shut off the water at the main. I should have spent the $14.98 for the wrench at Lowe's and the $80.00 on the crimper plus about $20 for the other connectors and pipe. As a side note we called two other plumbers (which we should have done first) and were quoted rates of $110 dollars or so for labor, plus parts, a rough guess of $50 in parts was given based on the details. Were we ripped off? Judge for yourself, and decide who not to call!! read more

I found myself needing a plumber in an emergency when I looked up and saw a water mark on my kitchen ceiling. I touched it and it was wet so I knew it could wait. It was after hours and Ryan with Bizzy Bee showed up to access the situation and determine, from shoddy previous work, that the issue could not be fixed but confirmed that no further damage would occur while a plumber was scheduled with the needed material. Bizzy Bee has been our go-to plumbing company for several years. We had not-so-good experiences with other plumbing contractors, and when we needed a toilet replacement several years ago, we decided to try Bizzy Bee. The plumber who came did an efficient and thorough job, and we have had no issues with the toilet. Recently, our shower valve failed suddenly and spectacularly. We called Bizzy Bee and they had Demetrus scheduled for the following day. The job turned out to be more complicated than expected because the shower valve we had is no longer made. Demetrus worked diligently to relocate and repipe the connection to the valve, and we have a better shower than ever now. During the course of his work, he found that our water heater was leaking. We contacted Bizzy Bee again, and again we could be scheduled for the next day if needed. Just our luck, the water heater replacement turned out to have complications as well. Again, the fix was made, and Brian found a way to get the job done according to code with less work than originally estimated. We are very grateful to Bizzy Bee for their diligence and creativity in completing our jobs. And they will give you a jar of honey at the end of their work! read more

Owner provided a written quote - several phone calls/emails back and forth to make sure we were on the same page, correct install date, correct model of fixture, etc. It was a straight forward, nothing fancy, non emergency routine project. Day of install the owner says (via the technician standing in my home) that he misquoted the price and that he'll call me later. 5 days have gone by no contact from the owner Robert - he must have so much work that he can treat customers in this manner and not worry about it. I called another plumber and was told that my faucet has a lifetime warranty and should be replaced for free. I called the manufacturer and they honored the warranty. Tom and JD were amazing yesterday! I had a rather insidious leak in the crawlspace under my home. As it got worse and worse, I had a new swimming pond in my backyard. I had used this Co. before for another job to my maximum satisfaction. Now the second time, I am not sure that I can recommend them based on the bill I have received. They had 3 repaired 3 running toilets and replaced one toilette seat. Set me back over 500 dollars! Make sure you get a written estimate before you approve the work. I am also surprised that they would be unwilling to give an itemized bill for labor and parts and seen no written warranty for what they have completed. Just be aware. We had a toilet with a broken flushing mechanism. Our Bizzy Bee plumber responded within 3 hours. He diagnosed the problem and fully explained the options and costs for repairing or replacing the old toilet. I chose to install a new toilet, but due to other work being done in the house, I requested that the install be done on the following day.
