We bought a 2016 Hyundai Roadster with 65,000 miles in June 2024 for our son who is in college and needed a car to make work opportunity easier. It runs, so that's good. This is being written less than 30 days from the car being bought, but we don't have time to drive four hours round trip to get this car exchanged due to the stuff below (he goes to school in Texas, so that's also complicated), but I feel it's more important to make people aware of this. The dealer failed to disclose the following defects which did not present themselves in the test drive, but they were caught when we got the car checked by a Hyundai service location in my son's TX college town: 1. A loose positive battery cable which was causing the car to almost switch off on our drive back. I thought it was the "safe mode" that happens in Hyundais, but the mechanic we paid $70 to fix this in OKC said it was as simple as that. 2. The right rear view mirror was loose upon driving it on the highway for an hour, and that's $750 to replace and paint. 3. The under shield is missing that would cost $236. What we DID notice in the test drive is that the electrical head unit (the screen that has all the interactive display options on the dashboard) didn't work. The dealer said it was the actual material screen itself, and not the interior electronics. They knocked $350 or so off the price of the car to compensate for it because they said I could take it to a dealer and get it replaced for the same basic price by buying it online and then having that mechanic install it ("7 minute" repair, the dealer at Infinite Routes Auto said). This is COMPLETELY A LIE. The repair is to cost $2,526.42 with labor and parts. This is so duplicitous, to sell a car with this many defects. Sure, you can say, "Buyer beware," but this is really deceptive. I'm filing a complaint with the state and national governmental offices about this dealership, and I'm reposting this review to all known online sites that allow reviews of businesses.

I have many years in the automotive service business and there is always a cause to any complaint. Never once have they given one just kept throwing new parts at a problem. Now after changing the engine, which did not fix the problem, the heater core is plugged with trash from the salvage engine. To make matters worse they want to charge me 1700.00 to change it out. After hours of dialogue and explaining that it is not failed it is just in need of a flush, no dice. I strongly recommend avoiding this company!

Most of the vehicles were out of state, so i had 2 shipped to Tulsa. My first experience wasn't great. I initially worked with Tyler, who didn't seem to take me seriously. Because my license listed a different city, he assumed I was taking a 24-hour test drive out of town and denied me the opportunity. It left a bad taste in my mouth and made me hesitant to continue. Still, I had already shipped two cars in, so we decided to try again--and I'm glad we did. This time I worked with Maegan, and she completely turned the experience around. She was kind, professional, and actually treated me like a customer. I wasn't a fan of the automated text responses (those bots got confusing), but Maegan always helped clear things up quickly and made the process feel more personal. She assisted me with test driving the vehicles, navigating the trade-in process, and even using the 10-day return policy. I really liked both cars I shipped in, but ended up going with the Toyota in the end. It arrived later which is why I bought my first and ended up returning the car and getting the later. There were some hiccups with slow computers and what looked like system changes, which could easily frustrate anyone--but Maegan stayed patient and was incredibly helpful through it all. If you go to CarMax Tulsa, I definitely recommend working with Maegan!

I have lived alone have little use of L-arm, and a bad sciatic nerve on my R-leg. We talked, I asked endless details; is the car a good ride, how are the shocks, is everything working on the car, have you driven the car, what is the condition outside and inside, how is the stereo/CD, is there anything I should know, does it have a clear title, A/C, heater working good? Told him again, "The last thing I want is to take an Uber back home, are we clear, Mike." Mike said, "ready to go now, works great." ...... 2:15 - Bought Lexus, the lady and Michael come out, say goodbye, and I am off. 2: 30 - the Temp gauge was on L, and never moved or got hotter, to the middle level. Not doing well, my shirt is sopping wet, feeling dizzy. I was about to pass out, just walked into the Tower Loans business 30-feet from the Lexus, sat in a chair. The sweat was washing my glasses off my face. Professional service, but two major safety oversights…read more I have mixed feelings about my recent experience at Purdy Hyundai. I brought my 2024 Hyundai Elantra in for a 30,000-mile service (costing $1,100), but what followed was an incredibly stressful and dangerous afternoon. The Issues: Engine Failure: After leaving, my car blew a cloud of black smoke and lost power while entering the freeway in heavy semi-truck traffic. I had to limp back to the dealership with the engine shaking. It turns out a step was missed during the fuel line cleaning, leaving non-fuel residue in the lines. Undercarriage Failure: After the first "fix," I headed home again. 40 minutes into my drive, the front undercarriage cover fell halfway off and began dragging. I was stranded on a rural stretch of the freeway, 40 minutes from the dealership. The Recovery: Despite these major mechanical oversights, the staff at Purdy Hyundai were exceptionally kind and professional. When I called from the side of the road--exhausted and frustrated--they were apologetic and immediately offered a loaner and a tow. While they didn't have staff available to drive to my rural location that evening, they coordinated through Hyundai AAA to get me off the road quickly. The next morning, they replaced the damaged panel and personally drove my car out to my home (almost an hour away) to deliver it to me. Verdict: The technicians clearly made some significant errors that put me in a dangerous situation. However, the management and service advisors handled the aftermath with grace and high-level accountability. They made it right, even though the experience was a nightmare. I appreciate their kindness, but I hope their service department implements better quality control checks in the future. I thought about giving a star rating of 3, but chose 4 instead because I've taken my car here for all service needs since I bought it, and have had nothing but positive experiences. I also chose to give a score of 4 stars because of the professionalism and accountability from all staff members who helped me. My car is doing much better now, as am I.

She rolled her eyes and whipped her head back as if I had said something inappropriate. I let her know that we're a serious buyer, and if that is a problem I can leave. I then asked her to go get her Manager due to being rude after that. (She never got one) We waited 20minutes to find a car we found online after being told it was there. To then be told it got sold, to then pick out another car listed which was listed with no damage... had deep scratches down the right side and took 20 minutes to find as well. They weren't willing to change the pricing in anyway, so we decided to walk. Before walking out, the sales manager offered us a base model ELANTRA for 19.9k. After going up and down on different cars for a hour, I wanted to think about it. We came back 3 days later and the Manager said it was only that day...never communicated that at all. We already bought a brand new car from Kia so I don't need a solution from Hyundai. But I did feel that it was important to share that this dealership did not make us feel valued, or welcomed in anyway. Even if they weren't able to keep that exact deal coming out to shake our hands and apologize would've gone a long way.
