Cozy cute bar to visit. Came here in a Monday night so it was pretty quiet. People started trickling in a bit later, but was quite empty throughout. They serve different snacks and food, but my friend and I opted to stick with drinks. They have pretty extensive descriptions for all the cocktails, even labeling if they are strong or medium strong. The drinks that I had were both considered "medium-strong" but they tasted more fruity and syrup-y than natural and alcoholic. I liked the creativity of the drinks though and the presentation was beautiful. This is definitely a chill spot to grab a few drinks - has a very comfortable vibe. Would recommend! read more

This is a cool place to grab a cocktail or a beer. I sat at the bar and the Russian bartender was very friendly and helpful. He made a variation of an Old Fashioned that was very good. I also had a Becherova for the first time and loved the cinnamony taste! read more

What a brilliant cocktail bar. We sat at the bar and the female mixologists were fantastic to watch! They didn't have the drink I wanted as they'd run out of some ingredients but they made me a delicious blueberry, vodka and cream cocktail. Couldn't decide on my second drink so they recommended another blueberry one. This time made with basil, gin and blueberries. This one was like a cocktail with a hint of pesto. Amazing!!! read more

I would give this Bar a 5 out of 5, if it weren't for two things: 1. The bagel I got and was very much looking forward for was not toasted AT ALL. I have never gotten a not toasted bagel and it was not good. Which was a shame because I liked th spread, the salmon and the cucumber. Really really really needs to be toasted. I wanted to tell the waitress but I forgot :(. If the bagel was toasted it would be delicious. 2. The prices of the cocktails, I mean. Paying 200.- for one cocktail? No thank you. That is way too overpriced. Other than these two I have had a very very good experience and I liked the ambience of the place very much. One of those "as good as it gets" if any bar in Prague's emerging cocktail scene deserves a five star its Blah Blah. This place truly has it going on, and it does so in style. Walking down into the basement bar, you're immediately struck by how different this place is than most typical bars in the area. The decor is showy but in a really fun way; particularly in the back lounge areas. Its almost as if a newspaper and and old novel partied a bit too hard and trashed the walls and ceilings. Take for example one of the corners; a load of old books were hung on the wall, and in marker "its time to drink" was scribbled over the pages pointing to a clock. Very cool. the seating is eclectic, ranging from old school wooden chairs to an old man sleeper chair, none of which match one another. The drink menu is composed mainly of one off cocktails. Who ever put this amalgamation of spirits tougher was very clever, and very good at making unique drinks. I stuck mainly with the gin drinks; the "I'm damn good" (blueberry inspired), and "holy salad" (raspberry) were exceptional. I did stray from gin a bit, and ventured into one of my happy places called scotch land for a bit; the "banana fashioned" (exactly what it sounds like), was truly unique. I'd venture to say even a non scotch lover would probably like it as it was quite sweet. Blah Blah also offers up a full menu of beer and wine, but that's not really why one comes here, this place is all about the mixed drinks. I will say that compared to other bars in the city, this place runs on the pricey side; put it this way, a beer can be found for 50 CZK or less (about 2 bucks), and the drinks here are in the 150+ range (6ish dollars per drink). Coming from NYC this still seemed like a bargain to me, and the fact that they take cards made it a null issue (if you've never been to the Czech Republic, paying in cash is standard and bills denominations get quite high..think 2000 and 5000 notes). The staff is pleasant as can be, if you're looking for some superbly made drinks in a unique setting then Blah Blah should suit you quite nicely. When you're done head over to Parlour, its right around the corner and also worth Czech-ing out (sorry, had to). read more

Drinks were good, balanced and well thought out. Bartenders were helpful and attentive. Decor was ok, but turns out we were there on the last night before their renovation. Great selection of Zufanek, which is a Czech distiller which makes brandy and liqueurs. I did some half pours to get a tasting of several. Would definitely come back! read more

Service is really slow, even though it's Tuesday and not particularly busy. I was seated as soon as we got in, but I've been here for 45 mins and had one drink, which was the only time the server came by. High end cocktails at reasonable prices. Located downstairs in a speak easy type walk down you open the door to surreal art and finely crafted cocktails. Think time consuming artistry into each cocktail. Hipster overload but in a subtle way that doesn't make you want to burn it down with the patrons in it. Will be returning. read more

This has been my favorite part of Prague. The staff make you feel at home, just talking like you're family around the dinner table. Their signature list isn't extensive (in the best way possible). They have honed in what is good and whittled away what is not so necessary. They gave great recommendations as to what to do for night life after the bar had closed as well. The cocktails were really good and some unique. They took time out to ask what you like and will make something bespoke. Lots of space and quirky. Most basement bars are What's unique about this place is their ability to create a drink just for you... all you need to do is give them an idea of what you like to drink, then the bartender does the rest. It has to be my favorite bar there. The interior provides a cosy atmosphere, old combined with new. This is not the usual loud sports bar, it is more like a place to go to with firends and just talk and relax. The menu offers standard drinks as well as a variety of beer, of course. Also a cute little puppy named Lima cheers up the atmosphere, walking around the bar greeting and playing with some guests. read more

Stumbled upon this place on our recent backpacking trip through Europe. We stayed at the Boutique Hotel Seven Days, and this bar was across the street and just down a few doors. It was a perfect place to grab a few drinks after a long day of walking and exploring Prague. Once you go in the door, you go down a flight of stairs. Makes you feel like you are going back in time to a secret / private bar. The bartenders were very friendly and welcoming, and were helpful in offering drink ideas to meet your needs / desire. In fact, I told the bartender what I typically like in a drink, and she made a suggestion and I gave it a try. Every drink she made was great! Well made, and garnished perfectly. They also had a dog that was like their "resident pet" - was very friendly and not a nuisance at all. We had some appetizers and they were great as well. Bar also had free wifi, which was a great connection and a nice way to feel connected while traveling and enjoying a drink...or two! If you are in Prague and looking for a nice, simple, relaxing place to grab a few drinks, I would definitely recommend this place! read more
