The overall concept might sound kitschy, but we found it to be well executed and a really unique experience! It ultimately boils down to 10 elaborate cocktails you probably haven't had before, with the menu being made of ten photos rather than item descriptions. The drinks were a good combination of approachable (my old fashioned was quite sweet and not too boozy) while also being quite unique (will not spoil exactly what was in the old fashioned, but it was a cool and unique flavor combination). They told us they book 2-3 weeks in advance and have pretty limited seating - be warned! We were super lucky: our airbnb was around the corner, and we were the first of 3-4 groups that showed up at the same time without a reservation. We were able to wait a few minutes to take the place of a no-show. They also have 2 tables for groups without reservations, and advised coming in right at 7pm (when they open), or after midnight (when they are less busy). Hope this is helpful! Definitely plan to book a table in advance the next time we're in Prague.

Such an amazing experience!!! Definitely make a trip to Anonymous Shrink's Bar. Once you find your way on to this Speakeasy, you are given Swiss psychiatrist Hermann Rorschach inkblots, you choose the one that speaks to you and the mixologist creates the drink that matches... The cocktails are delicious and the experience is way cool!!!

The Shrink's Office is probably the most unique cocktail bar I ever been to. It's a true speakeasy that delivers world class cocktails, but what makes it different is that there is no traditional menu. You order using the Rembrandt test, which means you choose the picture that best represents your mood. Your server will use the selection to carefully create your cocktail. It's a great way to discover new cocktails and experience extraordinary flavors. This place is a must stop while in Prague. Definitely check it out.

If you're traveling through Europe and looking for an awesome speakeasy experience, this place was exactly what my friends and I were looking for! Awesome drink menu concept, super intimate, and great cocktails! We were all genuinely pleased with what we got and the prices weren't too bad either.

This was easily my favorite place in Prague. We were only in town for 2 days and had visited AnonymouS Bar on the first night. On night 2 we were wandering around and came across this sign and after bickering over whether or not it was open we stepped inside. I won't give away any of the fun little secrets but when we walked in we were transported into, you guessed it, a shrink's office! I realize this doesn't sound like your typical bar but it was the greatest drinking experience of my life. Every single drink was carefully crafted and you could tell that time went into creating the perfect flavor combinations. I'm not quite sure what mine was called since there wasn't really a menu, but it was a rum mixture with a vanilla cream on top. Again, I'm not even sure what went in there but it was the single best drink of my life to date. After round one we decided we need to make the most of our time there and went for round two. This time our waiter asked us what we usually order and the bartender created something he thought we would like based on what we said. The result was a delicious citrusy, creamy drink for me and a play on a Bloody Mary for my boyfriend and they were both incredible (I'm including pics of course!). After we fished these two we still didn't want to leave so we decided to share one more drink. Let me be completely honest, I don't really remember this one. Not because it wasn't memorable, but because the first two were pretty jam-packed with the good stuff. This place is a little on the upscale side, and by that I mean that's a little pricey. We spend about 1,300Kč which is roughly $55 USD or €50. Let's be real though... that's pretty cheap if you're from Miami. I'll never forget the time I spent $20 on 2 Budweisers; breaks my heart to this day. I'm not sure how much is "expensive" for someone living in the Czech Republic but if you're planing on visiting Prague you shouldn't think twice about going here. Like the previous reviewer said, don't come here in large groups. The shrink's office is pretty intimate, it is in fact meant to mimic a shrink appointment. I'm not sure what your bar preference is, but I can almost guarantee you'll love this place. Follow our food page on IG: @OneMoreBite305

This place is a true hidden gem. You enter this speakeasy through a pub and press a red button and wait for someone to come and let you in. The idea behind this place is you have no idea what you are going to get! Our waiter was so attentive and came over and explained our drinks once we had the chance to enjoy them for a few minutes. The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars instead of five is because the bartender was a bit rude to us. Luckily we didn't let him ruin our experience and had a great time.

I'm very happy we stumbled upon this bar while in Prague. This place seems to be often confused with the other Anonymous Bar in prague but this one gives you more of a speak easy feel (if that's what you're looking for). It's a very unique concept for a bar and I loved the entire experience!

Drink made by Milan per our request for elderflower and gin

Came in 15 minutes before closing just in time for a last call drink. I like their idea of no menu but simply using a set of pictures. You're given a painting reminiscent of the ink blot test and you pick one- the one you pick will then dictate the drink they make for you. Because we came late we were unable to do that so opted for a gin and elderflower drink instead. Because we came late, we were given a shot sized drink and still charged 600 CZK for three of these drinks. While it was delicious I was put off by their up charge.

This was the first bar that we went to in Prague, and it really set high expectations. It's a speakeasy with a unique concept, i.e. there is no drink menu and you have to take an inkblot test so the bartender could figure out you're drink. The drinks were pretty on point. Even when I asked for an old fashioned, they explained that they only make their house old fashioned, but they were cool enough to tell me what inkblot card corresponded with it. The drinks here were all high quality, and I would highly recommend this place.

Not only does Absintherie serve as a beautiful absinthe bar, it's also a small absinthe museum! They have displays with fascinating information about the history of absinthe, and items related to the making of absinthe. Since it's a Prague specialty, I chose to drink macerated absinthe. It was so fun to watch the bartender expertly handle the drink and the flames. Once my drink was made, I wandered around Absintherie while enjoying my drink and enjoying the displays and learning omre about absinthe. They used to sell absinthe ice cream here, according to a blog I read back in the early 2010s. Unfortunately, due to regulations in Prague, absinthe ice cream is no longer offered. However, the bartender who served me quickly whipped up a small bowl for me. When I asked him how much I owe him, he said don't worry about it, they only give it to nice people. That was so sweet and nice of him!!! 5 stars for sure!!!!! Thank you Absintherie for being such a memorable absinthe bar in Prague!

Ooh, swanky. Our…read morefriends were planning a rowdy club night for Halloween but my roommate and I were too tired to handle that vibe, so we looked up chill spots nearby. I had bookmarked Tynska recently and noticed it was only a few blocks away, so we walked over. In a city that confuses me every single time I round a corner, Tynska was actually easy to locate. About time that happened! It's not too far from Old Town Square, for context. When we arrived, the door was locked in speakeasy fashion. Turns out you need to ring the bell to be allowed in. Cool way to control crowds! I'm not sure if there was a dress code or not. My roommate and I were dressed normally for the season and were permitted inside without a reservation. Perhaps they're more strict later in the night or if there's limited seating. I checked in on Yelp and an ad popped up for a free snack plate. My server didn't know about it but asked the bartender, who accepted the coupon. What arrived was seriously beautiful: a tray of delicious cheeses (four different kinds, I believe), crackers, and a semi-sweet jam. We were also given a cup of popcorn mixed with potato chips and a separate bowl of green and black olives. So good!! For drinks, my roommate ordered a red wine, which she deemed "awesome." I chose the Life is Beautiful cocktail -- made with aperol, elderflower liquer, fresh lime, and topped with Laurent Petrier Champagne. At 295 crowns ($12), it was a splurge but totally worth it considering it was likely the best cocktail I've had in months. The decor here was dim, cool and ritzy. Think Mad Men styling. Perfect for a night out with a few close friends, a date, or to enjoy solo seating at the bar. Better than a club night? I'd say there's no comparison.
