This place was so special we made a point to come back a second time. They offer live music, delicious snacks and above par service! This place has so much character and charm it's a must stop in and try!

The lemon mojito (drink of the month), mule and table snacks!

Such a cute bar with tons of drink options! If absinthe isn't your thing....there are other options and the locale isn't to be missed. There's live music certain times. The staff are very busy and go out do their way to help you! Fantastic fun!!

Must try establishment if in the Old Town area. I'm no absinthe drinker by any stretch of the imagination, but their specially crafted cocktails made me fan! The wait staff was welcoming, knowledgeable and detail oriented. I also loved their look. It's some of the coolest uniforms I've ever seen. The same is true for the ambiance.

    Exceptional Absinthe Selection and Presentation!

There are a few absinthe Bars downtown. Both are good, though this one stands out with their Absinthe selection and presentation earning it my number once choice. The staff is very friendly and helpful while also being knowledgeable about the different types of absinthe, its history, and the preparation methods associated with them. I tried a few different selection and enjoyed them all, especially the choices the staff recommended. I picked up some Absinthe chocolate which also proved to be a neat purchase. If you are new to the scene or a Absinthe Connoisseur this is the place for you.

    Inside. Love it!

I can't comment on the Absinthe, since I don't drink alcohol, but my husband loved it. I CAN comment on the Absinthe ice cream and it was DELICIOUS! The guy helping us gave us a ton of information and he was so great, it became and experience, rather than a quick visit. The interior is newly designed and freaking awesome. Everywhere you look, your eyes will feast. Super fun!

One of the best places. Love the uniqueness, service was great, she explained the origin of the drinks. Ambiance is great since they give your space and you can have a talk or being in your own I would definitely will go back! My first time trying this drinks!!

Cozy and warm bar off Old Town Square. Very friendly bar where you are likely to meet fellow Absinthe drinkers and share drinks. If you like Absinthe, I can't think of a better place to sit and enjoy.

The experience was great. No one in my group loves absinthe, but the overall experience was well worth it.

If you like Absinth this is the place to drink it. Cool spot a short walk from Old Town Square. They have tons of different absinthes. I recommend trying one of the Czech ones -- different than the French style. After that grab a cocktail or two -- I personally enjoyed the Absinthe Gingerbread Mule and the one with the cat in the name (I forget what it was exactly ) . I went a few times when I was in Prague and had most of the cocktails and you really can't go wrong with any of them.

Wasabi rhubarb drink!! I love it

The brunette waitress here has the biggest RBF! Dude u work in old town with all the tourist. Smile bitch! With a diamond tattoo We opted for the cocktails but my friend got the absinthe shot and it came with an awesome contraption! Raspberry Bramble - very tatty lemonade but not sweet so it's good Fruit mojito - simple but good Wasabi Rhubarb - this is so cool!! You take a shot and then some green cotton candy!

Ahead of my move to Prague, I read "do not drink absinthe!!" on local blogs. I didn't take heed, and I'm glad I was able to form my own opinion! I stumbled upon this spot twice this weekend. The first time, my roommate and I popped in, looked around, and decided we didn't feel like drinking anymore so we moved along. Last night, a group of us happened to walk by it yet again and decided to see if they could squeeze us in. By a stroke of luck, a group got up as we walked in, so the seven of us jumped on it. Shortly thereafter, a sweet server came to take our order. I selected the berry absinthe cocktail, while a few of my friends went with the raspberry bramble absinthe. While my berry drink was delicious (and had real blueberries in it!), I had a taste of theirs and knew I had to order it. By far, the raspberry bramble runs the show if you want a sweet drink without much of a kick. Only downside: the blueberry on the mixing stick is, indeed, fake. Do not try to eat it. Good news: I was not on my face after drinking the two cocktails. Thank goodness! Now, keep in mind: If you need to use the facilities here, you are WARNED: You may walk out of the single stall to a dude midstream at the urinal...which is conveniently situated directly next to the one sink. He and I both looked so uncomfortable at the interaction. I bolted out of there so quickly after rinsing my hands... Yikes. But yeah, it's a cool spot otherwise and the upstairs area is awesome. You will have to pay at the bar like most other places over here, but NBD. They prefer cash to cards, also like most places here. Check it out if you're nearby and want a good cocktail.

    Frog drink 10/10!!!!

I walked in on a lim. I mean I wasn't even planning on drinking but the decor doors really got me. After a day of traveling and walking up and down Charles bridge I thought why not ? Let's do it! I was automatically greeted by a very friendly bartender and given a menu. I ordered the front drink but there were so many more drinks that caught my eye. Sitting at this bar is an experience in its own so I would definitely recommend getting an up close and personal front row seat. Loved that they took visa here!

Two absinthe-based drinks: raspberry mojito and zombie (with the flower in it). the absinthe hides really well in these.

Reservations were booked…read moreweeks in advance but we decided to test our luck as it opened and got lucky with a walk in. This is a speakeasy where you spend 1.5-2 hours choosing drinks solely from illustrations that fit into a story. You truly don't know what the drink will be aside from the types of alcohol and a few words to describe the flavor profile. There were about 6 sections for 3-4 guests in a party, which is why reservations were highly recommended. The server then comes over with the cards and describes the concept. He does ask if there were any alcohols we didn't like, then gave us the cards to choose from. A few minutes later he came back and took them to get our drinks prepared. The drinks did take a little while to prepare. The server, who was now masked, delivered our drinks. They were served with different decorations or props to enhance the story telling. Each drink was quite different and were definitely well crafted. We ended up each having two rounds but there were probably 10 drinks to choose from. Pros -This concept is quite unique, and stood out over other speakeasies in Prague. -It's intimate and classy, and the ambiance offers an elevated experience. -The story telling element added another layer of experience, you would likely order more drinks to figure out the story. How they presented each cocktail was also very photo friendly. Opportunities -You could see your neighbors experience in front of you, which took away that surprise element that they were going for. You'd see their drinks roll by and would see what's coming. We also saw their reactions to their drinks so we knew what not to order. I wish there were curtains separating each party so it was really a surprise. -I wish the staff were in masks the entire time, it would be more spooky and true to how social media presents this place. They only wore them to bring drinks over. -Drinks were upscale but definitely an acquired taste. We liked some more than others. Overall this place is unique, and with a few tweaks on tiny details, I think would be phenomenal.

I had bookmarked Tynska recently and noticed it was only a few blocks away, so we walked over. In a city that confuses me every single time I round a corner, Tynska was actually easy to locate. About time that happened! It's not too far from Old Town Square, for context. When we arrived, the door was locked in speakeasy fashion. Turns out you need to ring the bell to be allowed in. Cool way to control crowds! I'm not sure if there was a dress code or not. My roommate and I were dressed normally for the season and were permitted inside without a reservation. Perhaps they're more strict later in the night or if there's limited seating. I checked in on Yelp and an ad popped up for a free snack plate. My server didn't know about it but asked the bartender, who accepted the coupon. What arrived was seriously beautiful: a tray of delicious cheeses (four different kinds, I believe), crackers, and a semi-sweet jam. We were also given a cup of popcorn mixed with potato chips and a separate bowl of green and black olives. So good!! For drinks, my roommate ordered a red wine, which she deemed "awesome." I chose the Life is Beautiful cocktail -- made with aperol, elderflower liquer, fresh lime, and topped with Laurent Petrier Champagne. At 295 crowns ($12), it was a splurge but totally worth it considering it was likely the best cocktail I've had in months. The decor here was dim, cool and ritzy. Think Mad Men styling. Perfect for a night out with a few close friends, a date, or to enjoy solo seating at the bar. Better than a club night? I'd say there's no comparison.
