Our food was great, but the place was very small. If you're planning to bring more than 4 people, you'll be hard pressed to find space and there's not much room for moving tables. The space is obviously set up to bring in more bar patrons than regular diners, which limits dining room seating. A great place to stop by if you're looking for good grilled or fried food that's nothing too fancy. read more

Classic bar food. Cheap tasty and good service. Restaurant is clean and staff was friendly. No complaints at all

Excellent!!! Saw the good reviews and thought I would give it a try. Burger was excellent along with the staff (Lexi and other girl up front). Very friendly. read more

Unfortunately this place will go down hill fast. They have 0 customer service, and give 0 sympathy when THEY messed up my order. They became extremely defensive after they gave me the wrong order and we asked politely for it to be swapped. This is not the first, or second time that they have messed up my order. Usually, it is a small mess up with just a side, but this time, they gave me the completely wrong order worth ALOT less than what I had paid for. I just want the food that I was charged for, but they refused to even change the mess up on the bill. Extremely upsetting, and disorganized. Not worth coming here if you want pricey food, small portions, and awful customer service. read more

I've gotten take-out 3 times and they messed up my order every time. I dined in once and the wings got cold and soggy fast. The food is okay I guess, it's pretty simple stuff - wings, chicken sandwiches, fries, etc. - but I don't plan on going back any time soon. read more

13 of us went here after my sister in laws graduation. The restaurant had maybe 3 other parties seated so it wasn't busy at all. At first they made it seem like they were not going to be able to accommodate on the inside and the outside was the only option. They found a solution and we were off to a magical experience. I was the only one that ordered an appetizer so we decided to go ahead and order food as well. While our server was still taking everyone's else order my appetizer came. He never left the table he just put it in on his bad and it was sent straight back and brought out. Awesome! Our food came very quickly and our sever was very attentive. We didn't have to ask for refills and he offered to bring out some "bite" sauce. This was the best sauce I have ever had in my life, on top of the fact that the food was amazing. When you have a party of 6 or more gratuity is already added to each check. Our server informed us of this when he didn't have to, because most people don't but he did. Everything was so wonderful including this god sent server that me and my husband tipped him more any way. I would love to go back if ever in the area. We left highly satisfied! read more

This was my first time time at Bites and I was exited to eat here but, I never even thought I would get food poisoning! so disappointed

Excellent food. Love the Mans Salad! Best ranch dressing in town but really it is! Their fries are freshly cut and fries. Fried pickles are perfect! read more

Great food and friendly service. We have tried several burgers and wing flavors during our visits but just recently tried the Boro Nachos with grilled chicken. The chicken is seasoned just right, and the nachos might be one of my favorite items on the menu now. Be warned, though... Bites has very limited seating. Great for 2-4 people, but not easily accessible for groups larger than that. read more

Service is amazing but food is just adequate. Can't wait to see the new location. Will try again then.

Great food, fast paced and friendly service. Can't beat that! Not really geared for large groups, in my opinion. Perfect for you and a friend to go and grab a quick BITE They also do takeout. Which my Office likes to take advantage of. I give this place 5 stars. read more

This place was great when I first tried it a few months ago. It seems as though the quality of ingredients has gone down over the last couple of months though. The prices are super cheap and I would honestly rather pay another $2-3 for a better quality burger rather than have an inexpensive mediocre burger. read more

These have to be one of the best burgers I've had in a while. The burgers are fresh as well as the fries. The service is also fantastic; I was helped by a girl whom I believe her name was stephanie? I am from out of town and this was great stop! Have to come back ! read more

They have great burgers. Can't wait to try something else. Very good. Small place just a few tables and bar seating. We'll be back. Very friendly staff. Has a bar. read more

Good affordable food! Definitely a place to stop in to when in town. I had the Atomic burger and it was just the right amount of hot.

Great food. Very reasonable prices. Fast and friendly service. You won't be disappointed.

The staff is what brings the good food over the top. Full bar, small cozy spot. Again I can't say enough about the staff that anticipates rather than having to be asked. read more

I wasn't sure about visiting Bites after reading some reviews, but on the recommendation of the hotel staff, we went and boy were we glad! Some reviews said the burger were greasy. A good beef/fat ratio will always produce some grease, but that's the price you pay for a good burger...that being said, I certainly would not call it greasy at all...they were perfectly cooked and seasoned! The fries were very good as well! They had a good selection of bottled beer and other drinks as well. Highly recommended if you are in the area! read more

Awesome place to eat! On a work trip and stopped by to grab lunch before going into work with a few colleagues and the food was so tasty! So many things on the menu that I wanted to try. read more

Best gourmet or handmade burgers I have ever had and the ranch is to die for literally!!!!

I heard lots of "great" things about Bites so I tried it. I was very pleased with the buffalo chicken tender sandwich; so much that I didn't want to try anything else. But I eventually did and I got the buffalo chicken sandwich [along with some fried pickles.] I LOVE fried pickles and this was just disrespectful. Roughly 10 hamburger sliced dill pickles on a skewer that was batteries and fried. The batter came off all in 10 pickles in one piece and I was essentially left with 10 warm sliced pickles on a stick. For 5 bucks, it just didn't add up. I wish I had a picture. read more

I wish I could rate this higher as so many people. love it. I went with four stars, but I would have liked to do 3.5. I'll start with the good. Quick ordering at a counter and quick food delivery to the table. My pulled pork was really very good, but the accompanying fries were limp and soggy. Hubby's burger was lacking flavor and very small between 2 huge, thick slices of Texas toast that overwhelmed the small burger. Again, limp fries with that as well. read more

Great burgers and fries for a decent price. Smaller restaurant that can be pretty full but always a good meal.

First time eating here since I been in Statesboro for almost over a year... have to say this place rocks the staff is friendly and helped me choose what would fit my tastebuds on the menu and they have an awesome bar you can grab a reasonably priced drink at while you wait for your food. Side note I got the burger and it was perfect read more

Looking for a chicken sandwich or a burger? How about wings? Bites has you covered with a full menu. Love everything. The homemade house chips are the best, try them with ranch. read more

Burgers and fries were really good. Husband said bourbon chicken sandwich was excellent. Small restaurant without a lot of dining space but you can do take out. I will definitely go back. read more

Super yummy with a good menu. The servers were really nice and made some delicious alcoholic drinks.

We love going to this place. It has always been a nice gem to go to when we are craving a nice burger, fried pickles, or some of the other favorites we have! The servers and hosts have always been super friendly. But, today we did not see that. We arrived earlier than we usually do for work related reasons. We came in and I was looking at the shirts unsure if it was okay to touch them or not, but if not I would have been okay being told not to. The hostess brought us around to our spot. There wasn't a bunch of people in there and looked like two servers. We sat there for about 15 minutes or so and nobody acknowledged us at all. One server was busy with his table and the other not so much but still with his tables. I was disappointed nobody bother to ask if we've been taken care of or even asked for waters. We never saw the server who maybe should have been at our table? But still very disappointed. read more

My first time trying this place. The staff is really friendly. I ordered a single patty cheeseburger and onion rings. My burger was good. I asked for no pickles and they were still on my burger. My onion rings were very bland but they did offer to remake them or give fries but I didn't want fries. Overall I will go back to get the burger but I won't get the onion rings anymore read more

Bites - Cheeseburger and onion rings - Burgers Near Me - Statesboro, Georgia

Stopped here on way through town based on recommendations on Yelp. My husband and I each had a Classic burger with American cheese. Burgers were cooked fresh and were served hot. Great burgers. Friendly service. Music was quite loud. While I all for loud music, especially in a college town, but this place was too loud to have conversation. Still, worth a stop for a good burger. read more

Really enjoyed the food! It had a relaxed diner feel. Only downside wad the amount of grease

Excellent burgers and the falafel is darn good, especially for a burger joint! It's one of the better falafels I have had. I asked them to put it on a pita instead of a bun and they were very accommodating. The next day I returned and had the Greek salad and they switched the grilled chicken for falafel without an upcharge. I didn't get a chance to try their grilled or fried chicken but it looked good and they sold a lot of it. Their homemade chips and fries are spot on!!! read more

I usually reserve my reviews for really great experiences or horrible experiences. This was deliciously surprising. I had the Buffalo Chicken Tender sandwich with homemade chips and the spice was just right & the chips were fried crispy and seasoned well. The customer service was great as well as they sautéed my onions as I requested and they wet pleasant to deal with. Above all, the prices were quite reasonable with large portions. read more

See our Gnats review. We were not pleased with Bites. The onion rings totaled 8 for $6. Burger was dry. We asked for medium rare, got well done. Not enough lettuce and tomatoes read more

Great food and service! I love their buffalo chicken salad and their fresh cut fries. Only complaint is how small the restaurant is, hopefully they will expand to accommodate all the guests! read more

Went here today for the first time and luckily I got there before an employee name James hopped on the grill. James came into work did not wash his hands and immediately started frying chicken tenders. While wearing gloves he was scratching his back and touching his phone without replacing the gloves. Unsanitary and disgusting. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. First of all... it's a barbecue place that doesn't serve any barbecue. Second, the place was DISGUSTING. The seats had crumbs in it, the tables were not wiped off, the floors were not clean either. I don't know who in the world would want to eat in a place that's so unsanitary. Not to mention the food is trash! The appetizers we ordered were so salty it could give someone hypertension. The burgers tasted like they were made in a school cafeteria. Very displeased with the service and my experience here. I will never ever go back. read more

Stopped by after reading many good reviews. Ordered a swiss mushroom burger. The burger was tasty but small appeared to be a frozen pattie. Mushrooms were from a can and the cheese wasn't melted and I don't believe it was swiss. The bun, however, was toasted . The fries was the saving grace of the visit. The women taking my order asked if I wanted additional sauces on the burger I asked for mustard but never received it. Service was fast and friendly but except for the fries very ordnary read more

I got the fried chicken club on a wrap. It wasn't bad, for the price it was what I expected. Let's talk about the fries. They look hand cut, but they weren't seasoned. A little under cooked for hand cut as well. This place has potential, throw some seasoning on your fries y'all! read more
