The cashier at the front was rather rude and dismissive at first glance. when ordering, expect prices to be a lot more expensive than what you may get. I ordered a veggie burger coming close to $10 only for it to be 2 slices of whole wheat bread and a lot of tomatoes with lettuce. The patty itself was pretty small and lacked flavor. (egg salad) always friendly and fresh baked cookies are great also, only time I'm sad is because they run out of the lemon cookies all the time.. First time stopping by! Really just wanted a quick coffee or tea but then I saw breakfast tacos. I grabbed a chai tea and a taco with eggs, bacon and cheddar. Or came out fairly quickly and with a side of salsa. The two paired together was really good. The chai was just right and I will admit I am very picky about them. I go to school around the area and was starving after class. I didn't know the area well enough for a quick bite but came upon this restaurant on Yelp. After class I headed over to find it was almost closing time (4th of July) but the workers were so accommodating in completing my order despite them closing up. The person at the register was so kind and kept conversation as well. I also met the owner who gave me free cookies! It was a very personable experience. This restaurant has a lot of heart and a lot of love for their customers. I would take a picture of the food I got but I was so hungry I forgot! This place just opened and I've been back about once a week since. While there's been some expected opening growing pains, like the cashier not knowing what come with each item causing multiple salads to be delivered to one person, this place is running pretty well. I'm a vegetarian and there's plenty of items for me. I like the baked potato, tomato soup, as well as the Cali veggie sandwich. I do wish they had French fries and a veggie burger. The salads are fresh and crisp. My sandwich previously came on sliced bread and was very attractive. Today it came on a hamburger bun and looked a little sloppy. Still tastes good. There are baked goods as well, which are very tasty. My only complaints are the very loud FM radio that blasts throughout the restaurant and the plastic forks. It seems wasteful. Maybe have washable utensils for people dining in. The radio is waaaaaay too loud and commercials are obnoxious. Turn. It. Down. This has become a go-to lunch (and snack) place for my office and I like that there are so many great things to choose from on the menu. My mum, sister and I were moving me out of the dorms at Baylor and about to catch a flight out of Dallas but we needed a quick bite to eat before the plane. Bite was the perfect choice! The owners were soooo sweet and friendly; willing to cater to our likes and dislikes. They were also willing to connect with us on a personal level as we dined in with them. Today, I really wanted a salad and a coworker recommended this place as somewhere close to the office. I looked them up on Yelp and was very impressed with the pictures - and was not disappointed. These are just nice, friendly people providing good quality food. I ordered the cobb salad (not vegan like the picture) and was amazed at the portion. You could tell that they were in the back creating my salad and taking extra care with the presentation. They are also warm, friendly and welcoming - engaging customers (dine-in and carryout) to learn more about them and to tell them about the business. Fun and friendly atmosphere! I have had lunch there breakfast there and dessert there. I'll even sat down with my co-workers and played at the community table putting together puzzles and playing giant dominoes. Saw this place today on yelp and it was 2 minutes away from my job so I decided to stop by. Very friendly as soon as I walked in the door! Cute atmosphere very clean!
