Pricing is a bit steep but I do put into consideration how historical this restaurant is. It was interesting to read the menu and see where the restaurant used to be located. FOOD & BEVERAGE Daing na Boneless Bangus was excellent! It was a huge serving, very tasty with and without vinegar, and every bite had a little bit of crunch in them. Vigan Longanisa was typically delicious. Both dishes include two eggs cooked to your liking. Special Iced Tea was very sweet and tasted like home-brew style with bubbly foam on top. It was an exceptionally hot day, so when we stopped by here, it was nice and cool inside. An amazing way to escape the heat at Greenbelt. We got seated and we loved everything that we ordered. From what I remember, we got some drinks, including some ube shakes with sago, some wine. Food-wise, we got the pancit palabok, crispy patis wings, lumpia, the overloaded garlicky chicken and adobo pork belly, sisig, the watermelon sinigang and I can't remember what else. Anyhow, the watermelon sinigang was excellent. And when the pancit palabok came out, they actually poured the sauce onto the noodles and it felt like I was watching a cooking show with a finale! When I come back to the Philippines, I will for sure come back here for everything! :)

After wandering around for half an hour, we ended up in front of the restaurant. What intrigued us about the place was how empty it was, though it was already past five PM and there was major traffic of people in the mall. The site I supposed reminded us that it was dinner time already, so we mulled over whether to give the place a try. My sis quickly decided against it because she assumed an empty restaurant must mean bad food. However, I was craving for real Filipino food at that moment (and I was paying), so we ended up inside the restaurant after quickly glancing at the menu. The place was so empty that even the host was out of sight. After a minute or so, the host appeared and we were seated promptly needless to say. We even had a pick of any table! We ended up ordering the bagnet that came with the sour broth on the side, beef adobo, laing, and garlic fried rice with dilis. And as it turned out, we really enjoyed the food! My sister and my mom raved about the bagnet. I liked everything. In conclusion, the place was a hit. Before our staycation ends this Saturday, I would like to back and try out the other dishes.

For a place that was so busy, surprisingly, it wasn't too noisy and we were able to carry out a conversation. The staff was very attentive, and it seemed like we had multiple people serving us Like most groups, we dined family style. We shared everything that we ordered and every dish was scrumptious. Three of us reside overseas so we were all looking frward to authentic Filipino foods. This place rose to the occasion. The standout was the fish that was filleted and deep-fried, and spread out like a butterfly so it was easy to take a piece off. The fish was cooked perfectly, that is, it wasn't overcooked like most fried fish dishes would be. All of us asked for fresh buko (coconut) juice servied in a whole coconut. However, the coconut was no longer young coconut that usually has soft meat that we can spoon up. instead, it was more "niyog" or mature coconut that needed to be cut up which the staff did for us.

The betrayal. My own stomach deserved better. Solid late-night spot. Generous portions, comforting flavors, and a vibe that feels like a warm hug after a long day (or a long night out, depende sa choices mo). Alfresco dining is super chill, but be warned: it starts getting packed around 1-2AM with people who look like they've survived a full pub crawl. What we ordered: * Pork Bagnetsilog - Crispy, well-seasoned, and surprisingly generous. * Talong Chips + Tokwa - My ultimate fave. I kept "trying one more" until suddenly... nothing was left. Zero self-control, and honestly? Worth it. * Chicharon Bulaklak + Tokwa - Dangerously crunchy. Perfect with rice or on its own. * Coffee Nagaraya Sorbetes - Fun idea, but the coffee flavor needs a little more oomph. Still worth a try. * Leche Flan Sorbetes - A sinful dulce de leche situation -- sweet tooth approved. Only downside: Parking took 30 mins to 1 hour. Will we be back? Absolutely. Probably sooner than parking trauma can heal. Another late night go-to unlocked.
