I ordered a burger to go and they told me it would be $2 extra to out the vegetables on the side but zero extra to keep them on. Food has always been and is mediocre. I recommend eating at many other places. read more

Great staff, great food, a must go. Will return again and again! New Yorkers or not, a must go!

This is one Kosher restaurant I don't mind going to. The food is great and always lasts me two meals. Service is solid and there's always space to get seated immediately. However, management be stingy with the side salads! My parents always get the burgers, and they love them. They're so thick and juicy, and come with the basic burger ingredients. Well worth it, especially since they have many different types. Their salads never fail me. Tonight, I got the monstrous Bistro Burger salad with grilled chicken. It could last me three meals, it was that jawdroppingly big. The ingredients in it are so fresh and so plentiful. There's a ton of chicken and avocado, so you've got your daily servings of fat and protein right there in the making. Your personal trainer would be happy. You could fill the side salad with things like carrots, beets, chickpeas, pickles, and more Mediterranean options, and if you refill even an ounce, they'll charge you $3.50. This sits unfavorably, because if you go late at night, you'll see them throw it all out! They'd rather Chuck it than give it to people and make a memorable impression? And besides, $3.50 for some peppers and pickles is a bit much. Anyway, I do look forward to eating here. It's a favorite spot for my family and it's always a treat. The food isn't mind-blowing, but it's a safe bet, especially when you're in no mood to cook and just want a satisfying, all-American meal. read more

While being seated, my husband was walking through the back aisle with our sleeping baby in a travel stroller. As we walked by we said excuse me and a lady sitting on the side whom we didn't bother at all. As we approached her, she barked: "there's no space for this!" I figured it was just a sullen customer so I said back with a smile that's ok we'll find some room...only to find out that she was the owner of the establishment. It was very disrespectful of her to treat us like that. She was also staring at every other table, looking for someone to scold. Our food also arrived 50 minutes after we ordered it. We won't be coming back to food that was mediocre and treatment that was inhospitable. Immensely unimpressed. and chips came with about 10 pieces of broken scraps of tortilla chips read more

A great place if you want a large salad that doesn't skimp on the ingredients/meats.

Too bad I can't give them zero stars. Ordered take out and found a tree leaf in my sandwich and when I contacted the restaurant they refused to believe me. Owner kept insisting its mesculan even after I sent them a photo. This is NOT lettuce. Owner is rude and thinks he can get away with murder bc hes one of the few kosher meat restaurants in town. Friends have found hair in their burgers there. Should have stayed away after their experience. Stay away if ur smart. read more

Service. The-service is bad. The attitude is worse. They run it so poorly. If you want ketchup you should pay extra. It's food , you need to be able to give a customer extra sauce without charging . Charge $1.00 more but don't CHARGE FOR EXTRA GARLIC MAYO OR KETCHUP. I will not go back read more

The portion for the salad when you take out, is tiny. It looks like a side salad. For $25 this is a massive rip-off. The food is pretty good however the portions are not worth it. Can get a salad 4x the size in the five towns for the same price. read more

Tried to give this place a chance because the chicken shawarma sandwich is so good but the service is absolutely the worst- they don't bring you the drink you ask for or forget altogether- and then the staff argues with you when you ask for the slightest modification to your order. There was also a bug in my napkin to top it all off. This place is gross- steer clear! read more

Good food. Repeatedly good food however there are a few down sides to ordering out. On multiple occasions I have ordered fried onions and when I get home and look in the bag, they are nowhere to be found. Once an entire burger was missing from my family's order. The customer service is very good and they did not charge me for the missing items, however that does not negate the fact that there were missing items in the first place. read more

Another kosher bites the dust and has failed to be good due to their service. Super slow and below par. After complaining to the owner/ manager, her response was "well we're not a five star restaurant you know..." That's for sure! Took 2 hours to get few dishes... read more

If I could give no stars, I would. Was nearly left with no food for shabbat because of this place. I ordered a package of food and they closed before I could pick it up. They closed before the time they told me they'd be open until! Unforgivable experience. Luckily was able to go to Shiraz which had some food left before shabbat. Will be taking my business there from now on. Will not be returning here and will make sure everyone hears about this experience. read more

Disgusting mold all over my 4 burgers. Completely unacceptable, I speak on behalf of all customers, better options in the area include, amal, house of subs, grill time, and even chosen village. Rude manager as well and horrible service and waiting times. I called to complain about the mold and they claimed it wasnt mold as if I was blind. Ignorant on her behalf. I will attach photos of the mold here. This restaurant can easily get their customers sick. NEVER EAT HERE. read more

Great kosher burgers, salads, sandwiches, and more!! (FYI, no dairy served since they're a meat establishment, but it's so easy to forget when you're eating there!) I've been several times and I've never had to wait more than a few moments to be pleasantly greeted and seated. Their salad bar offers a nice touch as well and is offered to guests at no charge to those who order main dishes. Would recommend to family's and friends in the area looking for a low key spot to eat, chat, and enjoy "diner-esque" vibe. Just remember that there's no Friday thru Saturday afternoon hours to accommodate the strict kosher crowd. read more

The waitress who served us was the worst I have ever encountered. Being served by someone who hates their job and is looking for a fight was a bad experience. Ownership needs to get it together and hire people who can at least pretend to be pleasant. The food was great but I will never eat there again based on the experience. read more

Unlike the abhorrent and blatantly inaccurate 1 star reviews coming from other patrons, my experience at the establishment was quite exuberant. I came with the love of my life Shahram on our date night. I ordered a burger and my partner ordered the Caesar chicken salad. The burger was succulent and juicy. The salad was fresh and tasty. The dishes filled the needs of our taste buds like a plug going into an outlet. My date was so joyous after our meal that he decided to please me in the bathroom for choosing this exceptional restaurant. I hope to dine in Bistro Burger, ran by the world class chef Serge, for many nights to come. read more

Order their $99 Shabbat special, and you won't regret it. They advertise it to feed 6-8 people but it really could feed 15-20. The food is not only plentiful but delicious and top quality. It would probably cost you more if you tried to buy the ingredients yourself and cook all of this at home. There is something for everyone, from homemade hummus to salad for vegetarians to juicy kabobs and ghormeh sabzi for those seeking Persian fair and poppers galore for the kids. 10/10 would recommend. I will be ordering many more of these in the near future. Thank you Bistro Burger for your service to our community! read more

I got to the restaurant, the server was very rude and was talking horribly to me. He very rudely yelled at me while I was ordering. Food was good. read more

This place is an abomination to mankind and should be erased from human history. I was feeling hungry and decided a nice steak sandwich would satisfy my taste buds. I went to bistro burger expecting a nice experience, but I was greatly mistaken. When I went to order, the price of my meal was very high, but I assumed the portions were large and accepted the rape of my wallet. I was then alerted by serge, the manager, that any sauces or drinks that weren't water came at extra cost. I didn't realize that SpongeBob was making my food in the Krusty Krab with Mr. Krabs cheap ass. I said whatever to myself and hoped my food would be good. It was not. First, the sandwich was so small the school thot could deep throat it with ease. The mushrooms tasted like my dad's left testicle and I threw the entire sandwich out. The sandwich also made me need to use the facilities. When I went to use the bathroom, I put my bare ass on the toilet seat and felt a cold liquid upon my left cheek. I got up horrified, realized that the toilet had drenched in the urine of another customer. The women's bathroom was no different. As I left, I heard a taller, pale teenarger start yelling at serge across the restaurant to give him oral sex. . Finally fed up, I told serge he was a terrible person and left. If I could I would leave negative stars for this cursed establishment. 0/5 never coming back read more

We went there first and last time My mom say that she know a new place for burger so we give it a try We went there about 10 people to celebrate a family birthday. No celebrate ! The waiter was so nasty with my family Anything that we want to order we have to say twice. The food came fast but most of us bring it back to make it more on the grill because its came not ready We order in about 200 dollar And my brother ask for mayonnaise The waiter told them that they charge 50 cent per bag of mayonnaise He explain to us that the first come free and from the second you pay 50 cent So we told him that we order 14 burger so we need to get 14 bag, he say yes but you need to order before you get the food not after Like I says first and last time:-( read more

Why oh why can't Great Neck have a good kosher meat restaurant? Chicken wings. Absolutely terrible. They were doused in BBQ sauce. That's it. Nothing else. Just plain old over the counter BBQ sauce. Show a little creativity. Ordered 2 burgers, one for me and one for my bro in law. I ate half mine and he had 2 bites and threw the rest in the garbage. He was so angry at me for choosing this place for takeout. Worst part is the cheapness of ownership. I spent over $40. When I asked for a sauce on the side, they wanted to charge me something like .50 cents per sauce, even though I'd already paid and was walking out. That's unacceptable. I told them that I will not pay for the sauce, and they said "sorry, owners policy." Pathetic read more

Truth it's overpriced. I find it ridiculous that they charge $10.00 for a small container of poppers. The only good things is their pesto sauce. read more

Went here this evening with my husband and 90 year old mother who uses a walker. There were many empty tables and we headed to one. We were stopped by a staff member who said it was for 6 people and we should sit in a booth. Really, a 90 year old and her walker in a booth? The table for 6 was a 4 and a 2 top that could have been split. I asked if it was reserved and they said no and pointed to the booth. My mother ended siting on her walker at the end of the table. Does anyone there have a brain? The food was good for fast food. I had the Mexican burger and enjoyed it, my husband loved the pulled brisket sandwich and my mom enjoyed her burger. Ordered her french fries and they never came but were on the bill. Had to have them change the bill. Also, would have appreciated ice for our cokes. Even though this is a casual dining venue the screaming babies were over the top and the parents made no attempt to quite them. If io go back it will be much later at night and hope the babies will be asleep. The upshot, if you want to go out and get a decent kosher burger, go here but be prepared to put up with a lot that may make your dining experience less than optimal. read more

Luv the food, salad bar, choices and always satisfied with the portions and prices. Our new go to restaurant.

Been a longtime client but no more. The issue for me was I politely emailed them to ask about a recipe change in the dish I ordered. The change was not a good one, and I wanted to know if the issue was a mistake or deliberate and now permanent. I ordered three more times, each time it was a poorer quality version of the dish I had ordered many many times previously. So with no response to my email asking about it, I simple stopped going. My dish aside, the food is generally good, the prices are generally high and the staff, well, let's just say that hospitality lessons would go a long way. read more
