Location is very nice, good thing is that they have a parking lot so we didn't have to struggle for parking. Between the 4 of us we ordered 5 entree and coffees and were able to finish most. Portion sizes are optimal, not tooo huge but definitely not less. Service was great too. Ambience felt like dining at home for a bit, not too fancy which we don't mind. Prices are appropriate, our entire bill was 105$ including tip. I see there is one in Troy by the same franchise, I will try that since that one is in walking distance..

Portions are hearty and filling. Flavors are well balanced. Came for the Vegan Santa Fe Hash and it did not disappoint - one of the best vegan breakfasts in the area. Coffee was endlessly refilled as well. No real maple syrup or natural jam available (smuckers and log cabin are both high fructose), however, the blackberry compote replaced both options for bread and French toast with excellent natural flavor and crunchy blackberry seeds.

They don't have any specialty coffee drinks, just your regular ole brewed coffee, which doesn't knock off any stars but is interesting for a brunch spot.

Overall a good experience from food to service…read more Ordered chorizo skillet which I was told was a good amount of food for the price. I came with two eggs, chorizo, hot sauce on side, skillet potatoes, and your choice of toast or pancakes. We got pancakes for 3$ more. It was worth the upcharge. The skillet itself was indeed a good amount of food but I had no problem finishing it. The waitress was nice and addressed all our needs. It quickly became busy around 930am on a Sunday.

Also, the fact that they serve halal is a big plus. Highly recommend to everyone.

The food is great but the management is horrendously inefficient…read more We got into a car accident on our way to meet friends for brunch causing us to run a bit late. We texted our friends our order and were 20 minutes out when the table was ready. They refused to seat our group, demanding we all be there because the table would then be taken up too long (even though our friends had our order and food takes time to cook ANYWAYS). We got to the restaurant and ended up waiting another hour just to be able to get a table that we had been waiting for an insanely long amount of time. There is no flexibility, humanity, or understanding with this restaurant. Only robots who "have policies" and are "sorry - that's just the way things are." Honestly, McDonald's is better at this point. At least the food is on par with the shit service at McDonald's. No point in nice breakfast if the people aren't even.kind

I did tell the waitress I can't do spicy, so she had the kitchen not make it "blackened"--which is where the heat is--and it was fantastic! I'd order again in a heartbeat! My husband had the Jumbo Shrimp Jambalaya ($27.00), which is made with Andouille sausage, Chipotle Peppers, Onions, Tomatoes, and Rice. It was very good (and midwestern "spicy," not Cajun spicy!) The four of us split a brownie and it was divine! Only thing that took them down a star is that our waitress didn't really seem to listen. When I said I couldn't do spicy, she talked me out of the snapper, then when I asked if I could sub in the grits from the snapper, she said, "oh, order the snapper and I'll tell them not to make it 'blackened.' " Then when we were saying how the four of us wanted one dessert to split, and were trying to decide between two, she kept pushing us to order two separate desserts. We finally had to tell her, "no. We're all getting full, and just want a bite of something." I'm all about good salesmanship in waitstaff, but she was just pushy and didn't seem to listen to our questions.

We always enjoy sitting at the bar, as we tend to have better service in restaurants that way. This was not the case here. I asked for a red eye. It is a shot of espresso in a cup of coffee. I ordered a redeye and quickly followed up with what it was. The bartender did not know what it was and seemed irritated with me. The food presentation is pretty, but lacks taste and flavor. I ordered the little Betty omelette. It is large in size. I asked for my toast option to be biscuits. They offer biscuits and gravy on the menu. The bartender looked at her handheld computer and said they don't do that. My boyfriend was tempted to order the biscuits and gravy and ask them to hold the gravy. I felt like it was more of an issue that she did not know how to request this on her handheld computer as opposed to this being unavailable to the customer. Either way, she did not seek it out further and told me no. I settled for the English muffin. My boyfriend ordered the classic eggs Benedict. MEH. The hollandaise sauce tasted a lot like mayonnaise that was yellow. He ordered a Diet Coke and it was flat. He was never offered a refill. I requested a refill of coffee, twice, from two different waitstaff. Neither followed through. My English muffin was served dry and I was never offered any butter or jelly. We left disappointed. I can't say that we would come back. There is a lot of competition in the area for breakfast and brunch places. They've clearly dropped a lot of money into the decor, but I don't see this Restaurant lasting for very long.
