DJ saved the day - and my garden!…read more I don't often recommend contractors publicly, but David's Plumbing absolutely earned it. I recently had my water service line replaced from the meter to my house. During the project, David discovered that the boring contractor hadn't installed the new line deep enough to meet code. It would have been easy to work around it, trench through my landscaping, or simply let it go--but instead, he advocated for me. He stood his ground, insisted the boring company come back and do the job correctly, and ultimately saved me from ending up with a substandard installation. That decision cost him an entire day's work while everyone waited for the boring company to return, but he still put doing the job right ahead of simply getting paid and moving on. To top it off, when the project was finished, his final invoice came in below the high end of the estimate he had originally given me. In a world where it's common to brace yourself for surprise costs, that was a refreshing experience. If you're looking for a plumber who is knowledgeable, honest, and willing to advocate for his customers instead of taking the easy way out, I can wholeheartedly recommend David's Plumbing. Integrity like that deserves to be recognized.

After the initial install, the system had 8 leaks and failed inspection. Josh was not on site when the pipes were put together and his helper (not licensed) did not ensure the pipes were fully seated as the glue dried. I called Josh to inform him of the failure, and Josh sent another person out (not licensed) to repair the leaking joints. After this, there were still four leaks. After this, I expressed my concerns with the entire system and how it would have more failures as settling and concrete were added. Josh, the inspector, and I all agreed the way forward was to replace the whole system. Josh took his sweet time to get back out there and never replaced the system. Instead, he just slapped glue on the leaking joints, resulting in two leaks still being present. Josh never passed a proper inspection, and I ended up firing him. Upon removing the pipe with the second plumber, we discovered many more issues with existing joints that would have failed if left under the slab. Later Josh put a lien on the property, which we ended up having removed. I am in the process of filing a complaint against his license because he gives plumbers a bad name and does not care about quality. STAY AWAY!
