We found V.I.P. Plumbing/Preston Miley on HomeAdvisors.com a couple of days ago. (Our regular plumber had given us dire news that we did NOT like, and we wanted a second opinion.) Preston came on site yesterday and counseled us about the situation. He didn't tell us anything far less dire, true, but he offered a different and considerably less expensive solution to our current (drain) problem. We appreciated his promptness, his knowledge, his enthusiasm, and his friendly approach. We routinely use a combination of word of mouth, Angie's List, Yelp.com, and HomeAdvisors.com when we select both professionals and skilled labor with whose companies we're not intimately familiar. We're glad we met Preston, and believe we'll likely use him in the future. read more

my 5th experience w VIP and the last four were all good. yesterday (12-23) I went on line and booked my appt for between 2-4 pm, and I quickly received a confirmation. at 3 pm I called to ask when the technician would be arriving and Cliff the Owner said his crews were slammed but he would check and give me an update. At 5 pm I called again and reminded Cliff I did not hear back from him and he basically said I should call another plumber because his crews could not get to my problem until 2 or 3 days. It was a weekend near a holiday. my son (age 3) made a toilet paper volcano in the bathroom. he came into my room and said, "my volcano is outside!!" VIP plumbing was very fast, very honest, very patient, and extremely knowledgeable and helpful. 10/10 recommend. They saved us a BUNCH of money on an emergency call. Great Value! Wasn't going to leave a review but figured I should warn any women who think about calling here. I was quoted $3200 for a reroute of a cold water line. They sent Justin, obviously the worst plumber on their team, to come find the leak, couldn't do so, then told me he would need to pressure test the hot water line to figure it out. But, in doing so, my hot water line could explode and I'd have to replace both. Imagine your plumber telling you that they'd cause your hot water line to explode but you're responsible for paying them to repair it!! A real helpless feeling. With the help of another plumber, he found the leak. He also did a bunch of other work no one asked him to do and charged me $3000 to replace one singular line in my house. Idk how that math works when the whole cold water line was quoted at $3200. He left my house a mess, knocked a hole in my dining room, and messed up the reroute to not even provide cold water to my washing machine. Only giving this company two stars cause Cliff came to my house to apologize, bring a different plumber out to fix the first guys work, and covered the repairs to the drywall. Still the worst plumbing experience of my life that lasted 4 days and feel scammed. read more

I'm giving three stars because they did respond to a email; but when they came out to give an estimate it's $125 just to get them to come,then you get a huge price for a little job .I'm not impressed! I could see if maybe they drove 30 or 40 miles to get here, but in this case it's only 6 miles from my location! Ridiculous! read more

My washer box was leaking water even when I'm the full close position. I called VIP on a Saturday afternoon and asked how quickly they could be there to take a look. They had arrived to my house well within the hour. Gerry was extremely helpful in explaining what I needed done, very friendly, and professional. He had to pick up a part from the store, but even with that trip my repair was completed very fast. I found that their pricing was also competitive with other local plumbers. Used VIP plumbing to try to clear a sink drain. All it needed was a snake out, but they tried to say it was the garbage disposal instead. I asked them to snake it out anyways, they did not clear a blockage and damaged the connections to my P-trap, causing a leak. They charged $300 to accomplish nothing. I called AcesThree Plumbing (405-619-7900) instead, they charged $100 and went in through the roof instead of the sink, saving mess and damage. Such a speedy response to my frantic call for help late in the day. A super knowledgeable technician was here the next morning, did a good inspection, showing me plenty of photos of the damage to my drain system. He cleared his schedule and got a team together with all the supplies needed to completely replace my frankenstein assembly of pieces and parts, giving me an efficient and up-to-code system in one day that I am confident will outlive me. My sewer lines backed up a Sunday. The owner was able via facetime to get me situated so no more water would back into the house to save me money and they were able to come out first thing in the morning. Todd and Gentry were great! They showed up half an hour earlier than my scheduled timeframe. They were professional, respectful, and very personable. Todd explained the cause of our issue, how to fix it, and suggested yearly maintenance to help mitigate future issues. I was provided an estimate before any work began and was only charged the agreed upon amount. I found VIP while searching online. I called on a Sunday and the owner had Todd and Gentry at my house on Monday. This was the only plumbing company that answered my call on a Sunday. Preston replumbed the drains in my whole house in 2 days. 1 year later no problems. His work seemed to be very professional and he seems like a down to earth guy. He also replaced my water heater recently. He had to come back out to fix a leaky connection. All in all, my experience with VIP has been positive and i reccommend them. read more

So I had a early start to my day with a water leak in the bathroom. Zack with VIP was AWESOME!! Very professional and informative. Got me all fixed up some day so we so why have to go without water. Plumber Unfortunately we can't recommend VIP after our experience with their service. We had a leak appearing by our sidewalk, and Ryan was sent out to find the issue. First he dug outside where the water was showing up, and when the source couldn't be found that way, they brought in a person to leak detect in the home. They found the source under the slab and told us they would have to drill through our flooring and the slab to fix the pipe. We gave them the okay since we didn't have any other choice but to fix it, and work started. Once they had drilled through the floor, they discovered that there were several leaks along the pipe and said it would be even more expensive to fix the rest of it, when the cost was already going to be nearly $4k. After some back and forth, Ryan mentions that it's just a pipe to an outdoor faucet and they could just cap it off instead of fixing the entire pipe if we wanted. To say we were shocked is an understatement. The pipe wasn't even something that affected the water inside the home, it literally only went to an exterior water faucet, which we have multiple of. We could've saved thousands of dollars, not destroyed part of our original hardwood floors and not dealt with weeks of back and forth with our insurance company had he just told us this from the beginning. We weren't even provided the option. He insisted that he told us that before the work began, but that was absolutely not the case and we would've jumped at the option to save that much money, especially since we have another exterior faucet available. For what it's worth, the person who came to help with the work (his apprentice? Junior) was very nice and seemed to actually care about the situation. We assume that's because he was getting paid per hour and not on commission like Ryan. We would not use their service again. read more

This business is a scam! They were supposed to change out a sewer line. Told me they needed to Camera it first to give an accurate quote. The Camering was $600 and was supposed to be reduced from the job price. After they were paid for the camering they bailed said they were passing on the job. After looking into them I discovered that they have never actually done any major plumbing work. Their whole scam is to get to paid for the camering. read more

If I could leave 0 stars, then I would. VIP plumbing ruined our front yard last fall for an issue that never existed in the first place. Now here we are 8 months later and we have called them to come out and at least look at the sprinkler line that was broken by them in the fall. Preston told us he would be out between 9 and 10 one day and never showed. So we called and when he EVENTUALLY called us back, he rescheduled for the following day, without an apology or reason as to why he didn't show up on the original scheduled day. Preston then didn't show for the rescheduled day/time and is not answer phone calls. I would never recommend using this "business", if you can even call it that. A+ drains in OKC and VIP Plumbing are going to cause us to pay for damages that they have caused. Stay away from both read more
