Called at around 8AM for emergency service and was told between 10AM to 2PM. 2PM rolled around and never heard anything. We called several times since and was told tech will be here before 4PM. 4PM rolled in and still nothing and again no communication from them at all. I posted on Nextdoor, a social media site, earlier this year a true but critical comment about my experience with Amped plumbing. Amped then had their attorney, Gary Quinnett, send me a letter asking me to delete my "untrue statements" which were true but I deleted them because I felt intimidated at that time. Now I have decided that I have a moral and civic responsibility to share my experience, regardless of the personal risk to me, so my friends and neighbors will not make the mistake I made by trusting Amped. Replacing the backyard gas line was the major cost and the reason I signed the IPad. I knew I had only about 25' of gas pipes under my house and I would never have signed an iPad for $12,500 to just replace those lines. The truth is simple. Wesley lied to me to get my signature on an IPad, the work promised was not done by you and I did not agree to the final cost. I am still shocked that a small claims court judge ruled you had a valid but irregular contract because obtaining anyones signature on an IPad based on false information and using that to place a lien on a home is a felony and can be be prosecuted in criminal court. Oklahoma Statute 42. title . Truth bombs: You didn't come out on the weekend and it was not a "dangerous" situation as you dramatically stated because ONG had turned off the gas on Saturday, You just left me in a cold house because Wesley told me he had his daughter for the weekend. Wesley did not do a proper gas pressure test and did not identify any leaks in my yard or underneath my home. You didn't supply me with a written estimate until after the job was done. The hot water tank was vented through a chimney and not the attic as you stated. I did not want the gas meter moved to my patio right outside my back door. Wesley moved it anyway. The only thing I signed was the IPad to start the work and you just copied and pasted my signature to other documents I never signed or agreed to. You might legally get away with what you did to me but I will continue to warn other people about your unethical and immoral business practices. The job required multiple days because Wesley only worked sporadically, was disorganized and didn't have the right tools or parts. I was unhappy Tuesday morning when Wesley informed he was going to get ONG to replace the gasline in my yard for free but you wouldn't deduct that from the estimate. I called you to come to my house as I thought you might be reasonable. You loaned me a broke, used space heater for one night, that I didn't use, but you keep bragging about it like it's a big deal. You called ONG but I worked closely with them as you were long gone by then. Lying about the Attorney General siding with you is pretty brazen because I have kept all the paperwork, see below. Frankly, if you had talked with me Tuesday morning when I called your office to ask that the gasline replacement in my backyard be deducted from the estimate we could have addressed this situation early. . When I did communicate with you on Thursday you said you would make it right. You didn't. I offered to pay a fair and reasonable price for work that was actually done and you rejected my offer. You use your attorney to intimidate people from making critical comment or leaving bad reviews. I do not lie as I think truth is extremely important and will always come out in the end. You claim your documenting me to your attorney and that is fine with me as I only tell the truth. Meanwhile I will document your lies, like the one you just told about the Attorney General siding with you. Don't bother deleting your lie because I already have a screenshot and I also have a screenshot of the free water heater before you deleted that and charged me $2,800. You accused me of "spreading false information" so please let me know what I said that was false and I will apologize and remove it immediately because truth and honesty matter to me. read more

I called at 8 am Friday morning with a need for roots to be removed from our water lines. Joe answered promptly and offered to have someone out by 10 am. I requested after 1:00. Ricky showed up after 1:00 with a friendly, helpful attitude. He heard the problem, investigated himself, explained the issues, offered all the help he believed was needed (including short term and long term solutions). He allowed me to choose the short term solution with no pressure. He kindly explained the long term solution and expressed their experience and knowledge with drains is their specialty. He answered all my questions. They were running a special ($89!!!). I paid, he thanked me for the business and was on his way. i did not hire this company, however; we did call them for our leaking faucet. we did not hire them due to the blatant greed of their $129 service call rather than their usual $70! their $70 regular service fee goes towards the cost of repairs if they are hired, but not on the weekends! because it is the weekend and we did not make an appointment in advance for our unexpected leak, amped 'to get more money' want to charge almost double for their weekend being inconvenienced! a regular service fee is understandable, but i cannot understand the price gouging markup, which says to me that they charge so much extra because they believe that, because of your plumbing emergency, you need them more than they need you even though that is clearly not the case! i realize greed is a huge part of humanity but enough is enough! money is money! stop being greedy and amped to get extra unnecessary money! *if you have an emergency on a sunday and hire them, they will charge you $129 plus the price of repairs, but if they can get you an apoointment monday they will only charge $70 which goes towards the price of repairs unlike on the price gouging inconvient sunday!!!!! how does that make sense? if you are so dishonest and greedy about price, how can they be trusted to do honest work regardless of how many random and unverifiable 'positive reviews' there may be! He did more than expected installing a top quality faucet and left the area cleaner than before. The best was the bill I paid I was expecting to pay more. technician offered an estimate of $4,000. stating that I needed a lot of repairs to bring it to code. not really buying this estimate. I had called Home Depot and they quoted me a price credit $1500 for the same capacity water heater and ended up going over by $600 to bring it up to code and still cheaper tuan what amped quoted me. your research is you don't get overcharged . amped was happy to take my $79 assessment fee which I knew was the upfront cost. Positives:  Shelby was extremely courteous and knew what he was doing. Didn't get the name of the other person assisting him. He left the room clean - no issues with the work done. Negatives:  I was given a time for arrival of 9-11am and called their office at 11:05 as I had not heard ANYTHING from them. I was told that they had issues with the first job of the day and it was taking longer than expected but they were finishing up and should be here soon. I got a text at 11:09 that they would be here between 11:15 & 12:15 - the ONLY communication I didn't initiate that day. I understand that the rain had an effect on their day but communication with your customer is vital to a business. I shouldn't have had to call - he should have had the office keep me updated. They didn't arrive until 12:30. It took exactly 7 minutes from the time of arrival to unclog the toilet and clean the area at which time I paid $199 for less than 15 minutes of total time at my home. I realize that I do live about 30 minutes from their office but that is pretty standard for the OKC metro area. I know that there's more to it than the time spent at my house but no additional equipment was needed other than an auger that was on their truck and obviously the office staff is not staying on top of their game with communication. Billing was done with an app on the tablet he had with him. I figure altogether there was less than an 1 1/2 hours total time spent by everyone from scheduling to completion of job including travel.
