Absolutely horrible service from the "manager". Workers fixed water heater without approval from either me or our warranty company. After they were done the workers came in to tell us it wasn't approved and I owed them $541. I paid it... and then find out they charged our warranty company too. Talked to the manager and he yelled at my wife and I and hung up on us twice. Never received an invoice. Horrible service. Do not use this company. read more

I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS!!! USE CAUTION WHEN HIRING THIS SHADY BUSINESS!!!! I hired this company for a simple garbage disposal installation in my kitchen. I was quoted a price over the phone, and when the technician arrived, he confirmed the quote after looking under the sink. He initially commented on how nice my house was for someone my age, which I initially took as a simple compliment. He then asked what I did for work and, upon discovering I was a pilot, bluntly stated, "Wow, you must make a lot of money." He started the job, but halfway through, he realized he didn't have the correct fitting and told me he was quickly running to the store. He finished the job in a timely manner and then approached me for payment. At this time, he informed me that the final cost would be an additional 40% more than the quoted price. At no time during the initial quote or while he was working was I made aware of this additional charge. This occurred even though he saw me working in my office as he made numerous trips in and out of my house, leaving the door open every time in the middle of the summer. I reluctantly paid the full amount so as not to delay the technician from completing his future jobs that day. I immediately asked for his supervisor's contact number to make them aware of the unauthorized up-charge. After speaking with the manager, we came to an agreement: I would receive 50% of the overcharge back in the form of a cashier's check sent through the mail. This agreement was made in August, and it is now December. Initially, when I called for an update, they claimed they were "always looking into when the check would be sent." After a month of these vague excuses, no one from this business will answer my calls. I sincerely hope this company decides to do the right thing and honor our agreement. Use extreme caution if you hire this company. read more

I can't leave a positive review to recommend them. They made it out on time. They did routine maintenance on my water heater to flush it out. Once the maintenance was completed, I noticed that the value they used to flush it had leaked and pointed it out. The value they used was not broken and needed to be replaced. All of a sudden my perfectly working water heater is now damaged, and I am expected to pay for it. Terrible customer service and not worth the value. I will not be using them again. And will tell anyone who asks about them that the service was horrible. It showed up and caused damage and made me pay for it. Impossible to speak positively about that. read more

1-800-Plumber +Air of Yukon, Oklahoma was dispatched out to our rural county home by a Old Republican Home Protection (1 star) home warranty service we received when we bought the house for a hot water replacement. Our home warranty service had previously told us that there was no one in their network in our area when we had a/c & heating issues so we had been using Comfort Wave of OKC (5stars). Because of this we had already been in contact with Comfort Wave who had identified that the hot water heater needed replacement due to extreme calcification buildup. 1-800-Plumber reached out to set an appointment time. Due to different reasons each time their arrival was delayed for approximately 2 weeks. Noah, a plumber for 1-800-plumber who gets the star, arrived. He assessed the situation and agreed that a new hot water heater was needed. He showed me 3 options with each option getting more costly. He and I chose the least expensive (approx $600-700) as he told me I did not need anything other than a water heater. As he asked me to sign the order he stopped me and said he wants to speak to his boss first. Before he called he described how the company was a bad company and to check out the reviews. He then called his boss and reported his findings and what I wanted. The boss asked him questions regarding the water heater set up. Within a few minutes I received a call from the home warranty. They told me that the technician was telling them that what I had to have would total at least $2000.00 & that the warranty would only cover approximately $600 for just the water heater and install. I explained that the technician was sitting in front of me and that I did not require all the extras. I was advised they could not proceed with the project without having the recommendations made by the technician/boss done which would have been approx. $1500 to $2000 out of our pocket. I attempted to explain that 1800plumber was trying to upsell but this fell on deaf ears. After speaking with the home warranty service and with Noah still sitting with me, who had just got off the phone with the boss, I attempted to call the boss twice with no answer I left a voice mail. The boss called me back and began saying they have to bring me up to code. As Noah sat in front of me he advised me that I was up to code and didn't need what the boss was telling me I needed and presented documentation to this. The boss put me on hold and called Noah and told him to leave. When the boss came back on he repeatedly told me that we had to be brought up to code and that I would not pass inspection. I attempted to explain that we had already been inspected and that we were up to code in which his response was you call us a liar. The boss then hung up. Noah apologized and explained that's why he didn't have me sign as the boss would have used that against me. The house had been purchased less that a year ago with an inspection for the sale, Comfort Wave had came out less than a month ago and when I called them to confirm they said we were up to code. I spoke to the rural water district manager who advised the items 1800plumber were trying to upcharge are not required for code in the county and if I did want what the boss was saying I could buy it for much less as a local store. read more

If I could , they would get 10 stars! We knew our water heater was leaking. And, we started the process of calling for estimates. Our old company was bought out and the service was just not quite up to par. Today, the tech came out, gave us a GREAT price (almost half of the others), installed, and finished the job in the same day! We've got hot water and no worries! He mentioned that the time needed to drive here will also count into hours. After I offered a limit I can accept, plumber stated need to step outside and make calls.
