Great host of Buffalo Foosball and our weekly tournaments! Nice selection of beer, energy drinks, a quick bite, etc.

This is a cool place! Who would have ever expected to find a top-notch billards hall in a mall? They have pool tables, darts, shuffle board, etc. Plus a large bar in the center of the room with hard liquor, beer and seltzers. They even have a food menu in case you get hungry. The tables were all in great working condition. Some wear along the edges but that just gives them character. Prices were decent and I love love love that they have a little side room specifically for darts. It was nice to get a little privacy while playing (mostly because I suck).

Last minute change in plans brought me to this billiards location located inside the Eastern Hills mall . Clean , not too noisy yet still had the football game on . Nice availability of pool tables to rent by the hour . Cold drinks (both alcoholic and not ) available for purchase . Classic rock playing on the radio (earned 1 star on the rating right there ) . I ended up having a good time and even won both games I played .... So I guess this location is good luck !

Bision Billiards has officially moved its doors to the Eastern Hills Mall. The old Main street location (Near Bill Gray's) is now permanently closed! It's new location is inside the mall, facing Orvis, just left of JC Penny. If you enter through JC Penny, head into the main part of the mall, and it will be the second store front on your left. Additionally, try entering around the back side of the mall, walk past the Dipson Theatres and the DMV, then head right into the mall. Hours of operation are: Sunday - Thursday 1pm to 1am Friday & Saturday 12pm to 3am Cost appears to have remained the same: $5 for 1 person for 1 hr of play $4 ea for 2 people for 1 hr of play $10 Sunday - all you can shoot. *Unfortunately this does not include the Billiards table or the Snooker table. The newly built interior features the same tables from the old location. Some have been given new felt. New additions include a Snooker table and a Bumper Pool table. The Snooker table is well lit and plays smooth with a hint of soft. The brand new Bumper Pool table ($1, quarters only) is towards the back of the new location near a really nice Shuffle Puck table. There is also now a separate room for darts as well. The new bar area features the same great service, food, drinks, and a few new taps. There are now plugs, everywhere. So bring your mobile chargers! As of this writing, this location has only been open for 3 days. There is still a lot coming to this new location and I will wait to write a more complete review at a later date (after the pinball machines and Cornhole games get installed). ..... Expect an update!

So truth be told, I'm no pool expert. This is probably one of 4 times I played in my entire life. (Outside of iPhone messenger games of course) Let me tell you, I will for sure be back! Bison billiards is situated in the back corner of the eastern hills mall right next to JCpennys. For warning if you go during the evening, the mall entrances will be locked but their store has a specific door that you can enter and exit through. This door is on the back side of the mall. For only 10 dollars you and however many people you would like get a table for an hour. So say it's a group of 2, thats 5 dollars a person per hour. What a deal! They do have some beers to choose from if you'd like but these are just the classics of course. Also they have minimal food selection such as subs and appetizers. I also overheard the bartender that they have tournaments. If you want to take your pool skills to the next level, there are plenty of opportunities to do so here!

The characters of Willie Mosconi, Minnesota Fats and Fast Eddie Felson gaze down over a sea of blue and green felt. Many years have passed since their time and gone are the days of smoke-filled, whiskey soaked pool halls. Bison Billiards has a clean, smoke-free environment that features pool leagues and tournaments; snacks, beverages and a light menu; pool accessories and equipment; music and extended hours of operation. Rates are very reasonable. Owner Mike is always there to greet you with helpful info and a friendly handshake. Bison caters to players of all ages and skill levels. Check out their web page for store hours.

I had a very good time, both times I was there. No one bothers you and it doesn't have loud music playing so you can concentrate on the game.

The GPS took us to the first location that opened (the waitress said the 1960s) a long time ago. The building is sitting at an angle from the road so go to the right and turn in to park or go past and turn right for the parking lot. Middle of the afternoon on a Thursday they weren't too busy. We were seated immediately and waited on quick. I wanted some clarity with the wing heat. Some places hot is mild or hot is burn your face off. She clarified the medium hot is hot so that's what I decided on for an order of 6. My sister isn't so much of a wing person so she decided on a grilled cheese. The waitress was pleasant and answered all the questions we had. The restaurant itself isn't too big but can seat a lot of people. Total wing vibe. Lots of different flavors and quantities went by...everything looked tasty and fresh. They had Yuengling on tap so that's what I ordered. She had a pepsi. Food arrived fast. The aroma was to die for (ok it burns the eyes a little...). Came with celery and blue cheese. The wings were amazing, some of the best I have ever eaten. Crunchy celery and cool dipping sauce. Bigger than most that I have ordered and very freshly prepared. After 6 I was filled up...but I ordered another brew just to wash it all down. If you're in Buffalo (or the area) it's definitely worth stopping to have a treat. Other Buffalo favorites are on the menu as well (Beef on Weck sandwich. We will definitely be back, more flavors to try and locations to enjoy.

They were extremely hot, temperature-wise, and stayed quite hot until we decided to quit for the night. Yes, we had a doggy bag! The negative was the celery sticks. It is unusual for restaurants to serve both celery and carrot sticks. Many serve only one or the other or none. The celery on our platter was tough; it tasted "old", not fresh. There was plenty of blu cheese sauce served with our large order.

There are not enough gluten free options - I had to be creative with what I ordered. They have gluten free rolls if you want a sandwich but everything else will have gluten, thus the Cesar salad without the croutons. It's very pricey as well. I really wanted to try the vegetarian shepherds pie but couldn't because the server said there's wheat in the gravy. They have no gluten free beers as far as I could tell and no mocktails. We were greeted right away when we walked in, which was a great start. However, after being seated on the patio, we waited about 20 minutes before a server came over. Drinks also took quite a while to arrive. I ordered a brown sugar bourbon cocktail, but it was disappointing--basically just tasted like straight bourbon with little to no flavor. For food, I tried the Reuben poutine appetizer ($20). Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the price. The cheese seemed very processed--hard to even describe, and definitely not what I expected. The fried Reuben itself was just okay, but overall it felt overpriced for what it was. In the end, I wouldn't necessarily discourage someone from trying it, but it's not somewhere I'd personally return to. The experience just didn't match the cost or leave much of a positive impression.
