She makes the whole process of planning a trip and getting on the Hy-Line feel so easy and seamless. The worst part of traveling can sometimes be dealing with people who don't want to be helpful, and Meaghan has been the complete opposite of that (the whole Hy-Line staff this summer has been INCREDIBLE!). She is such a bright, welcoming face (and voice when on the phone!), and she has made every interaction we've had this summer a genuinely pleasant one. A fam favorite MV employee!

Good, fast way to get to Martha's Vineyard (Oak Bluffs) from Hyannis/Barnstable area of Cape Cod…read more The twin hull Vineyard Lady really zips through the water once she clears the harbours. Yeah, it costs a bit more than some other ferries (such as the ones from Woods Hole) but is quite convenient. Simple but comfortable seats onboard on two levels. You can buy snacks & beverages onboard. Great views of the two harbours. Note: The Hy-Cruises ferry docks a few blocks away from where some ferries dock. Remember where to get the ferry for the return trip from Oak Bluffs. Hy-Line offers several parking options. Parking by the ferry docks is iffy but they have plenty of offsite parking at or near 183 Iyannough Road. Shuttle buses will take you to & from the ferry station. You can purchase parking online at the same time you buy the ferry tickets. IMPORTANT: GPS will misdirect you if you put in 183 Iyannough Road. After looking at map apps, I had the GPS take me to Adventure Cafe (225 Iyannough Road) and went down the side street by it, down Transportation Avenue. Looked for the Hy-Line Cruise Parking Lot signs and the parking attendants directed me to a parking spot.

Sunset Cruise Experience!…read more We recently went on a sunset cruise with Bay Spirit Tours, and it was absolutely fantastic! Captain Jake and the crew were a pleasure to listen to--knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely fun. The tour around Hyannis Harbor was beautiful, offering stunning views as the sun set over the water. The boat itself was spotless and very comfortable, and the whole crew was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It felt like the perfect way to spend a summer evening--relaxing, scenic, and well-hosted. I'd definitely recommend Bay Spirit Tours to anyone visiting the area. A top-notch experience from start to finish! They have been around for many years at the harbor. Have had great experiences on the lighthouse tours as well.

I suspect they do their job fairs outside the old age home and the High School drama club meetings. The entire time we were on the tour all we kept hearing about is how the tour "could be better but they weren't allowed to travel there" and they were giving plugs to restaurants on the route. There was minimal historical significance when en route and being subjected to the constant snarky remarks and self deprecation which is demonstrated by the tour guides was obnoxious. The only redeeming quality to the tour is when the vehicle goes into the water for the short 10-15 minute ride. If only the guides would be quiet long enough for people to enjoy it... UGH. Luckily the tour was relatively inexpensive. Though the guides continue to remind you throughout the trip that they accept tips. I neglected to leave anything and high tailed it out of there.
