I rented one of their 15 Ft sail boats here and took it out with my Girlfriend and we went right out and sailed the entire lagoon over the course of about 1.5 hours. The prices are very affordable and it took literally no time to get out on the water, they rig for you and send you off. An absolute must-do on Martha's Vineyard!…read more I've been coming to the island for years, and this was a completely new experience for our family--and one we will absolutely do again. The nighttime kayak was beautiful from beginning to end. The night sky was idyllic, and being out on the water at night felt truly magical. Our guides were fantastic. They were young, enthusiastic, and brought such great energy to the experience while also sharing so much knowledge about the local marine life and birds. We all walked away having learned something new. And just when we thought the night couldn't get any better, we saw moon jellies and experienced the bioluminescence glowing in the water. I have read and re-read all of the negative reviews of Martha's Vineyard Vacation Rentals on YELP…read more Frankly I am very puzzled. My experiences with the firm have all and always been very positive. They have been polite, responsive, and very helpful. Perhaps these persons were new to the Vineyard or new to renting houses? Indeed, owners can be unresponsive; the reason for using a rental agency is that the owners do not want or need the burden of dealing with renters, especially those who are very demanding, negative, or critical. I wish that customers of MVVR who were as satisfied and as happy with them as we have been would post some positive reviews so that a balanced picture of the firm could be presented on YELP. Based on these negative reviews, I thought the writers might have been dealing with some other rental agency. Thank you for reading.
