I love this place. Armando is the owner and he is the nicest guy. My husband purchased my engagement ring elsewhere but came to him for the main diamond. The stone that I got from him is absolutely beautiful! The quality and price far surpassed anything that the big name store had to offer us. I have received so many complements on my center stone and I just love it. We loved his work so much that I commissioned him to make my husbands wedding ring which came out better and more beautiful than I ever imagined. My husband loves it too. We also has him put together our bridesmaids and groomsman's gifts as well. My mother had a collection of very old WWII small airplane charms. Armando took them and made them into bracelets and lapel/tie pins. After he cleaned them up I hardly recognized them. We couldn't have been more thrilled with the work that he did for us. Absolutely rude. Relevant to Armando himself, the owner of this business, had an encounter with my mom at a store. Unbeknownst to my mom, he had several items reserved. He was there to pick up his reserved items when my mom, at the front desk, wanted to purchase those items which she didn't know was already put on hold for Armando. He confronted and embarrassed my mom in front of everyone. I do not recommend doing business with this man. He's rude, unethical and unprofessional. read more

I asked the owner if he could duplicate a ring from an old picture and he said that he could. I gave him the picture, some gold and a diamond to complete the ring set within the picture. The ring design is intricate and unique. Not only did he deliver, he delivered spectacularly. He also returned the unused gold; which I didn't expect. I love Bishop Jewelers! I first used them several years ago when I took a ring that belong to my grandmother to them. The ring is is almost 80 years old and has 12 small diamonds with a larger diamond in the center (each with 4 prongs each). The prongs had all worn down and the diamonds were coming loose. I took the ring to Armando at Bishop Jewelers and he rebuilt all the prongs for a very reasonable price! He also repaired a crack in the actual side of the ring. I now use them for all my jewelry needs. My mother and sister in law have taken their jewelry items there as well. Highly recommend! read more

I don't like to post bad reviews, but I wasn't happy with the service I received when I left my wedding ring set for repair. I wasn't given a receipt. I was told when it would be ready, and that someone would call me. No one called. I went by the shop and they couldn't find my ring. They couldn't find my ring for a couple of months. They acknowledged they had it, but didn't know where t was. It took another month before hey found it. Needless to say, I haven't been back. read more

Stopped by the shop one day as I was passing through with my fiance for work. We live four hours away and were really just window shopping for wedding bands. After meeting Armando we instantly fell in love with him and his shop. I've never met anyone as genuine and honest as Armando. After talking for a bit we decided to leave my fiance's engagement ring so he could custom make a band to match. A week into the process he was sending us wax mold pics and was keeping us updated through the entire process. Two weeks before our scheduled pick up day I asked him to if he could design and make necklace for my mother in memory of her sister who had just passed. Today March 30 we took the four hour drive back to pickup our bands and the necklace. There wasn't a dry eye in the room after my fiance and mom saw the work he created. He went above and beyond, not only making it personal but making it a day that we will never forget. I have never found Bishop Jewelers to fail at any request that I have asked of them. At most times, the simple repairs were made while I waited for ten minutes and was charged nothing. I am visiting from out of town and was looking for a place to repair my sunglasses. I couldn't seem to find an eyeglass repair so I went into Bishop Jewelers in the hope that someone to try to repair them. The gentleman who helped me (who I assume was Armando) was super nice and helpful. He looked at them and very carefully repaired them as best he could. I really appreciated that he was willing to make the effort even though glasses aren't his specialty. Then I forgot my regular glasses on the counter and the nice woman who also worked there walked over to the bakery next door to bring them to me. Armando is AMAZING! There are no words to describe how great of a job he did designing my engagement. We are from Hawaii, and went to Bishop to visit family.
