Hash browns were crispy as I ordered - not because they were cooked crispy but crispy dry and chewy like they were leftovers from 4 hours prior. They recooked my scramble and added what looked like swiss cheese - I ordered cheddar. There were a few specks of orange but not enough to warrant $1 charge for the cheese. Also very watery. Pancakes tasted ok but had to use a knife to cut/tear off bites. My husband's burger was ok but fries were like the hash browns - old tasting and chewy. Server never checked on us. This was the 3rd try to see if they had improved. 3rd times the charm. Never again. Would NOT recommend. read more

People of North Peoria, why would we not help this great local business that's isn't IHOP or Denny's. We want great local flavors that are not huge chains. Biscuits is the BEST option in this area with AWESOME food and GREAT SERVICE. I'm sure there maybe days where service is slow or your food wasn't perfect but how can we expect better in this area when we don't acknowledge great options like this. I've been going to the 59 avenue location for a while and was super excited when they opened up closer to my hood. This place is brand new and super super clean. They underestimated our wait time so we decided to sit at the counter as we had an appointment we were running late for at that point. I wouldn't say the staff was overly friendly but they were polite. The food came as ordered, was hot, and cooked correctly with large portions. Good meal. Very satisfied. We will be back. I didn't have a good experience at all. We sat for over an hour before getting our food. I ordered Ham Benedict which horrible. It was room temp at best, the "poached" egg was actually hard boiled. Well, it seems the problems are the same across the board. I watched people around me send back food, wait for tickets and complain... Our server was extremely nice but we had to ask other people to get water refills and nobody even offered to refill my coffee. The rest of our food did not come out when it should. We had to hunt down our server to find out where the rest of it was. I think it's common knowledge that after a table gets their food, you need to come back and check on them. Food is good but if you have a party more than 4 you better off finding a another place to eat. The food is very good. I've never been disappointed in my meal. Breakfast is my favorite. Portions are large, often too large for one person. Service ... Stephanie is my favorite. So personable, kind and very funny! She always goes out of her way to put a smile on her customers face. Stephanie always makes sure your coffee or drink is full. If she's having a bad day you would never know it. My husband and I specifically try to go on the days she is working. The only disappointment is when she's working the bar area. We prefer a booth and there are no booths on that side. But, we will be seated wherever she is working. There is one thing that I think could be improved. There are no booths on the bar side. It's obvious that most people prefer booths. The side with booths is always busier than the side without booths. It appears that the bar side only fills up when the both side is full. Biscuits Cafe on 67th and Happy Valley is my favorite. But, if Stephanie ever moves over to another Biscuits we would definitely follow! We went to Biscuits cafe on 67th for my daughter's birthday last Thursday. The food was great. It always is. Our server, Stephanie, was fabulous - she was funny and had great suggestions. She made my daughter feel just a tad special for her birthday, and the mimosas she had were tasty. Love the mimosa flights! The only thing I was a little confused about was the coffee. Stopped by for breakfast. Sat at the bar...dirty water and iced tea glass next to me. Ordered soft scrambled. Sausage patties and hash browns and I did mention please do not burn the hash browns because we had them burnt the last time we were in. Eggs came out hard and dry along with the sausage which were black and dry. Hash browns cam out burnt. Btw...all food was cold. My Love and I had been noticing a number of Biscuits Cafes opening in our market. We live close to this location so decided to stop in for breakfast. On arrival we were greeted by an employee wearing a mask and gloves. Nice start. The location had clearly worked hard on social spacing, using 1/2 of the dining tables, and seating on the patio. The remainder of tables were stacked in the back of the dining area. We began reviewing the menu, and selected our items. My Love, ordered the eggs Florentine, while i selected the biscuits and gravy, two eggs over medium side of one slice bacon and one slice sausage, and hash browns. While we waited for our meal, i noticed a woman at the table next to us had what appeared to be a Bloody Mary drink in a mason jar, with celery and what appeared to be a slice of bacon sticking out. Well, i had to ask! Yup, BM with bacon, along with bacon sprinkles on the rim of the jar. So, yes I did order one. Our drinks arrived, and i couldn't wait to try this tasty looking drink. It was smooth, tasty, spicy, salty, oh, and i got a piece of bacon :). The drink was clearly different, and creative. Our meals arrived shortly after. The portions were normal size, and tasted as anticipated. Good. Crispy hash browns, good bacon, tasty sausage, eggs over medium. The biscuits were small, but the sausage gravy was very good. However, the Hollandaise sauce on My Love's Eggs Florentine appeared to already be cold. She stated that it was fine, but just warm. Our overall impression was a nice place, really good service, nice atmosphere. However, in my opinion, the prices were high. West Coast High. Excelsior!! The eggs Benedict is uhhmazing and they have many options to choose from. My personal favorites are the ham Benedict and the beast, but they are all good options. if i could give this place a negative zero i would. my boyfriend and i went to get breakfast and the host were super friendly. Getting to the point where our waitress was taking our order she was beyond rude took her time going to put out order for us. While we were waiting for our food she NEVER once came by to check up on us or ask if we needed another refill for water. after waiting 45 minutes for our food to be put out we asked for the check for our drinks so we could leave and she tried to charge us for the food we never received. I just recently came upon this establishment on Sunday and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. First off we were going to Over Easy but it was very packed and wait was very long, once we got there. My Husband and I decided to try Biscuits cafe at 67th avenue and Happy Valley Rd. I came for the Mimosas and we also tried the Ham and Beast Benedicts which was very satisfying. The best part was walking in and being greeted very welcoming. Our server Megan made the environment very family oriented asking how our morning was and building a relationship while enjoying our breakfast. She always checked in on us and ensured refills were made and making sure our food was prepared the way we liked. Normally on Sundays its chaotic but they were slightly busy but still tended to our care. I saw teamwork during the morning rush and seeing the other customers enjoying their time as well. Ordered delivery from here. Missing my pancakes, raw french toast and hash browns. Ordered red potatoes and they were yellow potatoes. We called to try and get a store credit or refund and they were only willing to give $5 for the missing pancakes. Manager blamed the delivery driver saying he needed to check everything. They package delivery orders in a sealed bag, and it is also against policy for delivery drivers to open up containers of food. The staff at biscuits should have verified the quality of the food, as well as if it was all packaged. Manager continued to argue with my sister and eventually hung up on her. Disappointed. Stopped in after Church, was surprised to find only one person ahead of us. THe restaurant was clean with a wide selection of things on the menu. I started off with a Bloody Mary, and was very glad I did. The candied bacon was a perfect touch. Spicy but not over the top. We split the Black Oak Kielbasa Scramble and a cinnamon roll on the side. It was more than enough for the two of us. Enjoyed it very much, the hash brows were crispy and still moist. With the name of the restaurant Biscuits we had to try. It was very moist and topped with fresh strawberry jam. The coffee was good and the large orange juice seemed fresh squeezed. But what made the meal was the friendliness of the staff, starting with the hostess who complimented Bridgette's dress, to our waitress Madison. She was sweet and friendly and we remarked that she must not be from here, she wasn't, she came from the Pacific Northwest. She was charming and has a beautiful smile. Definitely coming back again. Friend and I came in on our way out of town because we had seen them online and the food looked yummy! We were seated very quickly, and after about 5 minutes, our server came and offered us drinks. When we had decided on what to get, we didn't see our server for nearly 10 minutes. We got two BYOB, and a French toast flight. Nearly 30 minutes later, we got our food, and no one came to check on us or see if we needed anything. The BYOB was good, but the French toast was so bland and flavorless. We tried to save them with maple syrup, but it also tasted fake. Overall, the food was pretty unbearable and extremely unpleasant, but the presentation was nice. Our server never came to check to see how we were, and if we were liking our food. We sat there for 15 minutes waiting for our check, and we had to ask a host for it because our server was nowhere to be found. The food upset both of our stomachs, and the price was just criminal. 65$ for 4 pieces of bland bread and eggs and bacon? Insane. We will not be returning. read more
