Not had a bad meal here. Even when there have been issues the kitchen and staff are quick to fix things. Had my go to this morning- biscuit's house omelette but sub all bacon for meat portion, crisp hash browns and sourdough toast. They reminded me why it's best to pay a few more bucks than some other breakfast spots. Bacon was very generous amount, cooked great, and texture and taste of the eggs spot on. Gentleman next to me was there for the first time and ordered very similarly but accidentally asked for French toast. He couldn't bring himself to send it back because it looked so good- instead he packed it to go. Really nice staff but seemed very unorganized and we didn't receive our drinks until after our food was delivered. Be prepared to wait 15-30 min for a table on a weekend. I also ordered a cofffee and the lady brought me a whole little bowl of what i was putting in my coffee bc i ran out!! It's okay. My friend took me out for a birthday brunch. I have wondered what Biscuits was like because it is near the swimming I go to regularly. We both got a breakfast meal: bacon and eggs, chicken fried steak. The biscuits are fluffy and thick. The white gravy was nice and thick, but just tasted salty. The chicken fried steak was pretty good. My egg done over hard was alright. We were not wowed by the meal not its pricing. We enjoyed dining at the patio and our server was nice enough. I always feel like a giant handling restaurants itty bitty coffee cups that have me bugging the waitress for a refill. Not here! The coffee tastes great, the cups are big and the service is wonderful. We ordered their any 3 items for $11.99 and there were so many options that I felt I could order exactly what I want without bugging for substitutions. I want to so madly give more than 2 stars but I just can't. It's horrible because my family loves coming here. Me personally I don't like coming here. I don't really like the quality of the food. The food leaves a nasty aftertaste in my mouth. I don't like that the waitresses and waiters don't continuously check on your table to make sure you have enough coffee or a beverage. Every time we've come in my order has been wrong. The pancakes were flat and a pale yellow color instead of the golden fluffy brown I was expecting. The loaded hash browns were saved by the 2 dollar upcharge for cheese sour cream and green onion. They were mushy even when offered "crispy" and there was no seasoning on them. Table salt and pepper helps but like, idk maybe I just can't imagine cooking any kind of potato without seasoning. Met some girls from work for brunch here on a Sunday. 2 of the girls had been here before and said how great everything was. I had not been here so was pretty excited to try a new place out. There was waters brought out quickly and our server was super friendly and attentive. She took our orders and our food cane out pretty quickly. Everything looked delicious and I was hungry so I dug in. The chorizo didn't look like normal chorizo to me it looked like ground beef that had spicy seasoning on it which was different than what I'm used too. The omelette was cooked well and had a big slice of sandwich cheese slapped on top. The potatoes were underwhelming as I was expecting crispy pan fries but they tasted like they were boiled. My son got the banana pancakes and he wasn't sure there was even banana in them but said there was like 2-3 pieces of banana with the whip cream. He ate a few bites but was expecting the banana pancakes from Butters which these were not. It was just the way they cook their food so I was not going to send anything back or make any issues. I paid my bill and tipped our server well. Overall the restaurant was clean, our server and service was fantastic but the food was not what I was expecting. I had the Philly with everything home made onion rings and potato salad, all freshly made and delicious, amazing food. My car didn't start and I had to get AAA .
