I hate giving bad reviews, I really do, but - the only positive about this place that I can offer is that there was no wait to be seated ( red flag). This was my first (and last ) time here for breakfast on a weekday morning or at any other time or day .I ordered Eggs Benedict and coffee with a glass of half and half for the coffee . I use a lot of creamer in my coffee and the only item on the table for "creaming" were those miniscule, much hated containers of "half and half " that don't need to be refrigerated. No, thank you! After quite awhile , (coffee getting cold) the waiter sauntered over, placed a glass half full of 2% lukewarm milk for my coffee ,muttered sorry and walked away. What ?? The coffee- finally- had a burnt taste...one sip and no mas.The Eggs Benedict was barely warm, nothing more appetizing than lukewarm yellow yuck on your plate, and the accompanying hash browns were an inedible , hard as cement , ( not exaggerating) brick of horror. They had to be 10 days old !! Not sure what the problem is here ...too many locations? Owners on a permanent hiatus? What a waste of my time and money spent. Definitely NOT recommended. We've been here twice before; and experienced Great service and good food and it was extremely busy both times. We'd thought we try them when they weren't as busy; thinking things would be even better. However, this Tuesday we went, and they were not busy at all. The service and food was not the same. The place was less than 1/4 full and we waited for a while to be seated. Finally seated and our waitress did show and all seemed fine. Sadly when the food came we were very disappointed. The bacon was burned on both our orders. My husband did not even want to take it home to ours Dog's. He thought it might make them sick. I was never able to get more water and what we had came in small glasses. When done we waited up front wanting to purchase some of their coffee cups. I enjoyed it, the waitress gave me some strawberry jam to spread on the pancake, that was my favorite part! It was all really good! The staff was warm and inviting. The reason for the 3 rating is because nothing was spectacular. I would say it is like a nice IHOP. It was well done, but didn't blow me away. There were 8 of us & we sat in a sort of "glass room" on the north side of the restaurant -- our long table & one other in the room. I wish I had asked our waitress for her name so I could praise her in this review -- she was fantastic!!! She didn't miss a beat. I cannot eat regular wheat products so have not tried their biscuits but everyone else raves about them. I can say their corned beef hash is the best anywhere! Oh my gosh - outstanding! My family and myself came to Biscuits Cafe this morning, 8/18/24. This was my first time eating here. We were served by Stephanie. She was a great server who answered all our questions, was friendly and checked on us regularly to make sure that all is good. In addition, the manager in training, also named Stephanie was welcoming, friendly and made us feel like we were part of the biscuits cafe family. She is funny and checked with us too to make sure all is good. We also observed her walking around and talking to guests all around the cafe, with a big smile on her face all the time. We also observed Stephanie , the manager in training clearing tables and helping her staff. As a manager myself, Stephanie exemplified great management skills. This is the most positive and best experience we have had at a breakfast cafe, and we have been to quite a few. We've had Biscuits before and always had above mediocre. We ordered it through DoorDash which isn't the issue. My husband ordered a corned beef hash and it was literally just pulled corned beef over an unflavored, undercooked hash base with undercooked red potatoes. I ordered a breakfast burrito that is dry and flavorless which also came with undercooked potatoes. Very nice, constantly checking in with us, and always made sure our water, coffee, and creamers were full! Started off with coffee that was delicious and steaming hot! Served in a huge 12-14oz black mug. Good flavor with different kinds of creamer on the table to choose from. For my meal I got the 3 pancakes with fresh strawberries and whip cream. It's was delicious! The strawberries were very fresh and sweet. The pancake itself was huge, thick, and fluffy. I got bacon on the side as well. Came with 4 large slices of bacon Very Crispy. I love my bacon crispy so it was perfect but if you like it a little under done make sure to request it and they are happy to accommodate(they did it for my friend)! Overall everything was great! I was not impressed. He liked it. The oats were weird. it came with bags of nuts and dried fruit. It was like a brick. Needed liquid. The coffee is good, huge and good. Lots of creamer options/flavors too. There is a patio that is dog friendly and the staff is great. The atmosphere is a little loud and very open but inviting. I wish it was more sectioned off. That's my taste though. I would be back...the only weird thing other than the oats is the biscuits are so small and underwhelming. The place is called Biscuits Café...maybe it should be called Jammed Café or Cinnamon Roll Café since those are something to talk about!!
