A friendly heads up, cash only. Bagel is an always must try & the coffee options are delicious.

Eclair...they've gotten pretty small now. Used to be much bigger.

This is a locals spot that gets its share of summer tourist business as well. The owner is named Ron and I think he's pretty much always there. Friendly, hard working man that's often manning the grill. When he has the time, he'll usually say hello from the grill too. He primarily does breakfast and lunch and always has a specials board in plain sight...lunch specials can feed an army and are usually 8 bucks or less...good value. Ron and his peeps make tons of different baked goods from cinnamon rolls and donuts to bread rolls, eclairs, and cakes. They seem to do it all. I like his cinnamon rolls and breakfast sandwiches and burritos best. My go to is a sausage, egg and cheese breakfast burrito with honey mustard. Excellent to soak up the hang over you might could be nursing...these run about five bucks and breakfast sandwiches are about 4. Have him add home fries...wicked good. Best home fries around. He's occasionally open for special dinners, but I haven't yet had a chance to attend one. Ifnyou're on the fence about trying Biscuits, don't fret. Go for it! Lots of choices, family owned and operated, and the true definition of Mom and Pop owned small business in a small town. Good people in there with lots of parking on the Main Street side and on Oak Street out front. There are a few tables inside for which to sit and eat as well.

Great little neighborhood bakery, everything I've ever gotten there was delicious! Good place to pick up yummies on our way to lake Luzerne.

Great service and food. But since we are not on Facebook we do not know when a random day or weekend they are closed until we call.

Ask the Community - Biscuits Bakery

Do they have set days & times they are open? Every time I've swung by hoping to swing in they have been closed ☹️??‍♀️

Closed on Mondays...I think they open at 6 am and close at 2 pm all other days. They will also close on certain weekends for vacation for the owner and employees.

Their friendly staff bagged up my everything bagel, onion as well as sesame bagel. When I got them home, I was pleasantly surprised to see how sizable and well seasoned they happened to be. They were crisp with a nice chew as well as soft on the inside. Absolutely delish and I will be back for more!

Great flavor and great texture; and, I appreciate that they use organic ingredients. I actually wouldn't eat there if they didn't. The bagels are honestly amazing. They are the only bagels I will eat because they are organic sourdough (it's the only non-gf I'll eat). They are crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, just how a bagel should be! Whenever I've ordered a bagel and cream cheese (which is more than a dozen times), they've always been very generous with the cream cheese, which I appreciate! They've also got more than just bread. They sell some local gifts and things: flowers, crocheted items, little crafts, chocolates, etc. Their cookies are soooooooo delicious. We always get at least one to enjoy after we eat our bagels. :-) There is a small sandwich menu (no hot items though - like no hot egg sandwiches, just egg salad). They also serve hot coffee! One tip: Go early. They often sell out of bagels and treats, especially on the weekends! It's just a really solid spot with really good food! Definitely worth checking out! We drive 25 minutes just to enjoy their bagels, bread, and treats!!

But if I lived in Saratoga Springs, UG seems like a worthy successor. I can't comment on their vast bagel stash - poutine and fried chicken is enough for the day - or their beverages beyond the enjoyable caramel vanilla coffee. But I can praise the infrastructure. The line looked intimidating but they kept it moving. Since my biggest gripe for non-Starbucks purveyors is the lack of a condiment bar I was impressed by the options here like simple syrup and almond and oat milk.

Where things are frustrating is (1) the pricing for gluten free options (2) lack of gluten free options. Patrons have to get creative to accommodate a low-glycemic index diet or a gluten free diet. Almost every single soup has gluten now a days. There was a time when soups were the only gluten free option. They've raised the price of a side of grilled chicken to $8.00, which is insane for 3 oz of chicken. That equates to roughly $32 a lb for chicken. The menu says $3.15 to "add chicken" to a salad, so I'm not entirely sure what the big deal of adding it to a bowl of soup is any different? I'm paying $6.99 for a soup and a salad is $7.25. I'm happy to pick out the pasta in the soups, but to not add chicken for $3.15 as if it were a salad is a line that is frustrating. Not a fan of the salads due to the diningware they elect to put them in. The bowls are wabbly and are often filled to the gill, so people like myself who cut their salad have difficulty enjoying their salad as it falls on the table more than staying in the bowl. Giving an honest review in hopes that ownership will take this into consideration. Finding myself coming here less as it gives me anxiety coming and trying to think of what I can actually eat.

They did mention that there was some construction going on (July 2025), so maybe the situation is different normally. We had an iced coffee and a banana cream cold brew. The banana cream cold brew was too sweet for my taste, but it was delicious. I thought the iced coffee was good. We both had "the 201" (which is pork roll, egg, and cheese) one on a roll and one on an everything bagel. +1 for having pork roll this far north and outside of New Jersey. The everything bagel was absolutely slammed with everything bagel seasoning. It was a good bagel for the area but not quite up to perfect NJ/NYC bagels (it was a little too airy). If you are not a bagel snob this is a great bagel. I had an almond croissant as well. It was very big but the layers had really separated so it didn't have the flakiness you'd like from a croissant. Prices are high, but the entire town is basically "resort captive" and almost all of the businesses rely on seasonal vacationers to survive so...support local small businesses!
