Okay so another 3.5 experience! This place was slammed, really loud and complete with a super long line. If it wasn't like Grand Central Station on a Monday morning it would have been rustic and charming. The service was great though! She answered all of my questions and wasn't the least annoying. She suggested things to order based on popularity which was nice of her! And she informed me that yes, all of the pastry was made in house! That's a win for me. Now if only said food lived up to said hype. My chai latte was okay, neither good nor bad. The croissant that dressed my sandwich was undercooked, it was still doughy. The sandwich itself didn't taste like much. I really liked the spinach and feta danish though, that was well seasoned and tasty! Now it must be said that they are changing an absolute fortune here, so to be fair the quality didn't match the price tag.

Love the ambiance here! The designer was extremely meticulous with the details and environment they were trying to create, because when you walk in...you just GET IT. It's beautiful inside. Service is fast and employees are always kind! We frequent Bear's Cup for drinks and bagels! Oh are the bagels so so delicious. I subtracted one-star because the drinks have been inconsistent--sometimes they're great and other times, our drinks are so watered down we can't finish. In addition, I wish they opened before 8am . Despite that, Bear's will keep us coming! If you are looking for AMBIANCE or a nice, chill, meetup spot--I highly recommend this location!

pastries were yummy and looked too perfect almost didn't want to eat it! haha. latte was delicious. i wish they had more seating for how busy this place gets. but this is just a place id go once or twice if i want a fancy looking pastry. their merch was super cute but overpriced imo.

We spent about $45 on a bagel, 1 sandwich, a latte and a matcha. Was it worth it? Ehhhh? The blue'bear'y pancake latte was great - you can tell the syrup is house made and fresh! Espresso itself wasn't bad, it just wasn't my favorite. Skip the bagels! Sandwich was just okay. I wish I got to try their other baked goods but they were sold out for the day by the time I got there (noon on a Saturday). The inside is beautiful, they have a parking lot, and the staff was very friendly, but I'm not sure any of that justified the price for me. I wanted to love it and understand the IG hype but ....

We went and braved the 30 minute line because we'd heard mixed reviews and wanted to check it out. The chai was like any other chai around. The matcha with vanilla was very good..a tad sweet for me but good matcha flavor. The plain bagel with plain cream cheese was very good--just as a bagel should be: crispy yet chewy. The blueberry muffin, however, was straight bread pudding. It definitely didn't have a muffin consistency. While it was tasty, it also had a faint blueberry flavor for the amount of blueberries--maybe they used frozen blueberries? So while I enjoyed, if you want a muffin this is not for you. Would I return? Not for a thirty minute wait. Not worth the price or wait. Also--a postcard is $8?! Who pays that? Not me, for sure.

What a gorgeous little spot. I've been wanting to try this place since opening and when I saw the Neapolitan latte and holy crap this is gorgeous!! So much flavor in one cup! I loved it!! I may have to make a pit stop every month to see what they have. And the girl behind the counter who took my order was amazing. She was so sweet to help me with my order being a first time customer. And now I'll be a regular even if I have to drive from Latham. Which reminds me.... We could totally use a Bears cup in Latham... wink wink. Just sayingnnn

Bears Cup is my new obsession!! We went last week and they were out of almost everything except the spinach & feta croissant and the best pistachio latte I've ever had. I couldn't stop thinking about that croissant or latte all week, so I asked my husband to go back this weekend. This place is something special, the pastries and coffee are absolutely out of this world amazing. The flakiest, buttery, crunchy on the outside soft on the inside croissant I've ever had. The bagel was well seasoned with plenty of homemade veggie cream cheese. The iced pistachio latte with vanilla cold foam was worth the extra lactate I needed to take to drink it. The apple cup was a flaky croissant with custard and apple compote. The fruit and cheese danish was excellent with a smooth cheese filling inside a crispy pastry with fresh fruit. The Saratoga location on Broadway by the corner of 50 & 29 has a decent size parking lot. There is some seating inside, just know It is Really loud, and has been totally packed each time we were there. The line moves very quickly and the team works well to get orders out without too much of a wait.

the BEST BAKERY I've ever had, and I'm saying this as an nyc girlie who has a sweet tooth. The ambiance and decor, just amazing. The service, even better. And the foods, heavenly!!! Came on a snowy cold day and wasn't too crowded, felt very homey and ordered bear claw (9/10) almond croissant (11/10) and BEC classic on croissant (11/10)! All of them was SO GOOD I had to come back again right before I left town on Sunday but sadly came at 8:15 and already ran out of almond croissants because their almond paste didn't cook well enough and they gave us free upgrade substitution, it really warmed my heart because we had already ordered, nothing else can be done, and I was really looking forward to eating it one last time and bringing one home. Obviously it doesn't replace what I actually wanted but the service was so understanding!! And the food the second time, still amazing!! My new go to if I could come here all the time! I even looked at a cute card they had by the ordering table and the server asked did you want me to punch that for you and confused because I had no idea what it was! My fried commented in a joke oh wow we came last time and no idea this was here and she was laughed politely and gave us extra punches. I just want it for souvenirs because I sadly am unable to make this trip here enough for the reward but such unexpected impeccable service and kindness! Overall A must try if you're in town

literally obsessed with this place!!! the honey sriracha cream cheese is disgustingly good. i always buy a tub of it to bring home and use it as a dip with wheat thins the bear claw was also incredible - very decadent, could feed 5 people haha. service was super quick! there was a long line but it went really fast

Went on opening weekend and there was a line out the door. This is clearly one of the new hot spots in Saratoga, and everyone wants to post it on Instagram. By the time I got to the register, many items were sold out and I waited about an hour--but it was opening weekend, and Saratoga has clearly been waiting for them. The space itself is adorable, there's parking, and the staff was very friendly. The bagels and croissants were excellent, and the coffee was great. That said, because of the hype, reputation, and prime Saratoga location, the prices are very high. High-quality products, yes--but wow. Definitely worth a visit, and I will be back.

    Well, worth the $18

Ok wow. Earlier this morning my daughter drove to Bear's cup for breakfast and returned with a bagel sandwich for dear old dad. A plain but incredibly tasty bagel, lox, cream cheese and capers with a touch of dill. Folks i'm not exaggerating when I say this was without a doubt the best bagel sandwich I have ever had and that includes the ones down in the city. I asked her how much it cost and was told $18, I would happily pay that and perhaps a bit more it was that good. Oh and she also got me my very first Bear Claw which was equally as good. I believer a 40 minute road trip is in order for next weekend.

But if I lived in Saratoga Springs, UG seems like a worthy successor. I can't comment on their vast bagel stash - poutine and fried chicken is enough for the day - or their beverages beyond the enjoyable caramel vanilla coffee. But I can praise the infrastructure. The line looked intimidating but they kept it moving. Since my biggest gripe for non-Starbucks purveyors is the lack of a condiment bar I was impressed by the options here like simple syrup and almond and oat milk.

Where things are frustrating is (1) the pricing for gluten free options (2) lack of gluten free options. Patrons have to get creative to accommodate a low-glycemic index diet or a gluten free diet. Almost every single soup has gluten now a days. There was a time when soups were the only gluten free option. They've raised the price of a side of grilled chicken to $8.00, which is insane for 3 oz of chicken. That equates to roughly $32 a lb for chicken. The menu says $3.15 to "add chicken" to a salad, so I'm not entirely sure what the big deal of adding it to a bowl of soup is any different? I'm paying $6.99 for a soup and a salad is $7.25. I'm happy to pick out the pasta in the soups, but to not add chicken for $3.15 as if it were a salad is a line that is frustrating. Not a fan of the salads due to the diningware they elect to put them in. The bowls are wabbly and are often filled to the gill, so people like myself who cut their salad have difficulty enjoying their salad as it falls on the table more than staying in the bowl. Giving an honest review in hopes that ownership will take this into consideration. Finding myself coming here less as it gives me anxiety coming and trying to think of what I can actually eat.

Great flavor and great texture; and, I appreciate that they use organic ingredients. I actually wouldn't eat there if they didn't. The bagels are honestly amazing. They are the only bagels I will eat because they are organic sourdough (it's the only non-gf I'll eat). They are crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, just how a bagel should be! Whenever I've ordered a bagel and cream cheese (which is more than a dozen times), they've always been very generous with the cream cheese, which I appreciate! They've also got more than just bread. They sell some local gifts and things: flowers, crocheted items, little crafts, chocolates, etc. Their cookies are soooooooo delicious. We always get at least one to enjoy after we eat our bagels. :-) There is a small sandwich menu (no hot items though - like no hot egg sandwiches, just egg salad). They also serve hot coffee! One tip: Go early. They often sell out of bagels and treats, especially on the weekends! It's just a really solid spot with really good food! Definitely worth checking out! Uncommon Grounds nails it on both counts and is a great spot to get a little work done to boot. Stopped by this location when I was in the area for some coffee and breakfast. I'm usually in search of sugar free options as well as milk alternatives. Uncommon Grounds had a couple sugar free options (yay! caramel and vanilla) and a few different milk alternatives. I got a caramel latte made with almond milk and it was dreamy. For my breakfast, I got the Mediterranean breakfast sandwich on a salt bagel. It came with egg, spinach, avocado, tomato, and a bit of pesto. Delicious! The only tiny thing for me was the tomato made the sandwich kinda slippery and difficult to eat so the next time I ordered it (which was literally the next day), I got it with double the spinach and no tomato. I just bought a dozen bagels and they were hockey pucks. I tried. Couldn't do it. Inedible. But weird because I usually grab a breakfast sandwich at their airport locations the they've been very good. Did I get a horrible batch? Idk? Seating is tight. I'm part of the problem.
