It's one of the few places I can truly say that everything is good here. One of my guilty pleasures is General Tso's and lately, I've noticed many of my other go-to eateries make trashy versions of it. But not Good Taste Noodle House. Whenever we come here, I order the General, my wife orders one of their Salt & Pepper dishes (today, it was prawns) and we agree on a third dish that's either new to us or something we don't often get. You really can't go wrong. Everyone is so friendly here. The food comes out quick and piping hot.

All of the food here has been flavorful and quantity is good as well. We always have leftovers for the next day, and those taste even better! Some stand outs include their green beans, dry pot spicy fish, and Mapo tofu. We sometimes will get these dishes as "no spice" to accommodate others, and even without spice the food is still very good. They also do lunch specials which are very reasonably priced for the quantity.

You have to order…read morevia the QR code and I must say trying to find food as titled in Yelp photos can be quite challenging. You need to know what category it is and the descriptions are minimal. We came early on a Wednesday night and were the only ones here. What was good and bad? First let me say, we asked for help with ordering. The server couldn't understand why I was confused. I said I wanted the braised pork wide flat noodle and showed him the photo on Yelp. He told me to select stir-fry, then spicy pork flat noodle. I explained I didn't want spicy, he said it's not spicy then pushed the "less spicy" option. When the dish arrived, you could see the red peppers and it definitely was spicy! It was tasty but very spicy! My husband got the Mongolian beef which he said was good - he selected "no spicy". The only downside was it does not come with rice. Just Mongolian beef and lots of onions. We also ordered the bbq bao - do not order this - the dough was really "off" in both texture and flavor. I literally spit it out as did my husband. We'd come back but we'd be better prepared to order and we'd be way more cautious with what we order.

I left them a DM on Instagram just to inform them of the situation in an attempt to prevent others from getting sick (I did not ask them for anything). They responded by asking me for a doctor's note, which was kind of rude, after the horrible food poisoning I endured. This was back in 2024, I hope they've improved their cleanliness/food quality by now.

I ordered the Kung pow chicken with rice and I had to choose between a drink or egg flour soup. They bake flowers. Soup was actually pretty good so I made the right choice there. I drink my water and was not offered a refill until I was almost finished with my dinner. The Kung pow chicken tasted weird. It had a vinegar kind of bite to it. I know it wasn't vinegar, but it did not taste good like Kung pow. The rice I had was a bit dry and kept falling off my fork. The server was not present 90% of my visit and only asked me one time if I needed a refill of water. The place was actually dirty. Especially the bathroom, which was ridiculous. I won't be back.

We also had the shrimp chow mein and the chow mein was overwhelmingly bean sprouts with no water chestnuts, a few snow peas, and a tiny bit of celery. I think they would be great for serving as Peking Duck. The seasonings on the other hand is quite uneven. In area with thick meat, it is quite blend, but some parts close to the bones are very salty. They offered some sweet-and-sour sauce to go with the duck. But that's not the traditional apricot dipping sauce. So it is kind of weird. The barbecue pork on the other hand is quite terrible. The pork has a little unpleasant flavor in it. It's not spoiled meat. It's something from the pork itself.
