The food was just okay. I was excited to try the enchilada de mole, but the mole had a bitter, almost burnt flavor to it. And the tortillas on the enchiladas were soggy, which was a little off putting. The best part of the meal was the queso. It had really good flavor. The salsa is chunky and had a strong tomato taste. The beans were good. The restaurant was clean.

Started our catch up session with a couple of brews and their salsa, I'll call it a flight - medium, a tomatillo verde, and a spicier one - delightful. Their small cheese dip was also great - next time I think I'll try the Spinach Cheese dip but needed a baseline to taste first. I got the chicken and chorizo which was also great, and the chicken fajitas came out sizzling hot! Our server was such a delight, we let her know it was the middle for us to meet and couldn't believe we had both driven 45+ min but was grateful we did and even made recommendations for when we come back. We enjoyed their outdoor seating and had a great time with good food.

Here is a quick rundown: The chicken rice bowl (in a fried shell) - chicken was juicy and full of flavor. Delish. The refried beans were soupy; the Mexican corn was a little sweet? We prefer a little more texture to the beans and more spice and savory bite to the corn Chamoy soaked gummy rings - today they used peach rings and I think I would prefer apple, but it was interesting. The bite I had was too salty from the Tajin but everyone else at the table were intrigued! The absolute most memorable bite: strawberries and cream churros. The fresh , warm churros coated I. Cinnamon and sugar had a strawberry drizzle and we battled over the last one. I totally recommend this place- it just needs a little TLC inside. That same attention that is given to the menu and flavors needs to go into the upkeep of the interior. Cool urban vibe and service was busting their a$$.
