Dined here because I LOVE food halls and that you can try different options for the whole family. I had the Mexican street corn and two tacos. I've had bad experience with street corn before but the was told I should give it another try...so glad I did! It was DELICIOUS!!! I could live off of other! I also had a birria taco and a chorizo and potato taco. They were both very good. Did think the birria was a little under spiced, but still good. I've dined here a handful of times when visiting Gibson Mill. The food has always been delicious! The guacamole is delicious!

This place is inside Gibson Mill, which is nice and quaint. The cashier was nice and helpful I do not recommend the pork bowl. The pork was as hard as a rock. The rice was undercooked and the entire thing was bland. The sangria only had tiny pieces of apple in it and it was not flavorful like a sangria should be. They used a dry wine and not sweet. The chips and queso were good. My friend and I spent a lot and we were left unsatisfied and hungry because our food was not good. read more

Had the 'Walking Nachos' and wished I had walked away and gotten food from Johnny Rodgers instead. Cashier was hard to understand when she talked and had the look of 'wish I was anywhere else but here' on her face. Very little meat and beans, tons of lettuce, cheese, and pico, but the pico must've been the 'onion heavy/tomato free' kind because all I tasted were onions and only saw about 4 or 5 tomato chunks. Amazing new food stall in the Gibson Mill Market. I ordered the quesabirria tacos and Al pastor tacos. The service was very quick! The quesabirria tacos were amazing! They had so much meat and cheese inside! The broth was tasty as well. They were very flavorful. The Al pastor tacos were also very good. I loved that they put alot of pineapples inside. The salsa that they came with was very good because it was a little spicy and went well with the sweetness of the pineapples. The pork was cooked perfectly too. Flavors are great. Tacos should be served authentic with double corn tortillas. Also ordered the Esquites street corn in a cup. (didn't get a pic) Doesn't look like the picture on the website. I ordered the mexican street bowl from here which was decent. The meat was a long strip and difficult to cut with plastic ware. Also the cotija cheese was a large block thrown on there. It would have been better if the meat was sliced and the cheese crumbled to make it less difficult to eat and more desirable. The amount of rice compared to the rest of the ingredients was overwhelming I ended up tossing most of it because I didn't want a 3/4 bowl of white rice. Another person with me ordered the signature which has all the topping on a giant chicharone which tasted much better than the bowl. read more

The gibson market is very nice i love the idea, i was very excited for a mexican spot to open up here. But in all honesty. This is not authentic mexican food. It was very disappointing. The tacos are so small. Very americanized. It tasted very bland. The baleada isnt close to a baleada, i never had whole beans in one... especially black beans. It was more like a taco with cheese. The esquite had tajin which is weird because tajin is used on fruit.. usually chili powder is used on esquite.. It was very watery/milky.. i think the only thing here id get is the mexican coke. read more

I think this is the new winner for the worst Mexican food I've ever had. I ordered their signature taco and the base was those styrofoam-like shrimp puff Asian crackers instead of a tortilla! What??? I'm so confused...I've never seen anything like that. Once you get over that and you taste the steak that comes with it ...it was tough and salty. I also ordered the Hawaiian taco and the chicken was like rubber. I took one bite of each taco and threw them away. Please save yourself time and money and go somewhere else. read more

Holy moly, this place was so good. Our quesabirria and steak tacos were amazing. And the service was outstanding.

This place was delicious the first time I visited! Today the service was mediocre and uninviting. My quesaburria, which I was told would take 6-7 minutes that I was fine waiting, took only 3 minutes and tasted rushed and incomplete. My food was barely warm and was consumed on site. $16 for 2 burrias and chips is not a value when poor service is coupled in..
