Candles adorn the tables with large chandelier lighting. You walk through a library/sitting room to the restaurant. The library with a log burner, large leather sofas being a perfect place to have your after dinner coffee. This restaurant, house and cottages have breathtaking views. This place has a relaxed atmosphere both inside and outside as we watch the ducks on the beautiful pond. Each week the menu changes. The chef uses local, fresh and seasonal produce. Fiona who greets you is so warm, friendly and has an infectious laugh. A pre dinner apéritif from the cocktail list. I have a flirtini followed by a triple P cocktail. Fiona devised this cocktail which consisted of Posseco, Pear liqueur and Pommegranite, delicious. Starters - beetroot cured Wester Ross salmon with pickled cucumber or Goats cheese with poached red wine figs and Smoked chicken and avocado Tian. All 3 starters tasted on our table and all very very good. Main - Margmore venison marinated in red wine with sweet potato champ, roasted garlic sauce or slow cooked Moroccan chicken with mixed bean cassoulet and rice or Fife's Puddledub buffalo sirloin steak with roasted vine tomato, shallot and hand cut chips again all wonderful. Dessert - we all had the Glen Lyon coffee and Bailey's creme brûlée with pistachio crisp DELCIOUS. All the dishes were a slice of heaven with attention to detail, hats off to the chef. The menu lets you know this chef has travelled as the whole menu used flavours and influences from around the world. The hospitality was exceptional. The evening was truly a memorable night. This will not be my only visit to this wonderful establishment. When next in Aberfeldy I will take the opportunity to stay in this peaceful gorgeous place. Xoxo

It was a Monday night, not too busy but quite a few inside. The people working were all very nice and attentive! Out of the two meals we got I couldn't pick a favorite! We would definitely come back!

There is a nice flower rimmed patio here that would have been our preference but alas Scottish weather did not cooperate. Interior basic tables and chairs. Attentive service much appreciated. A number of Scottish cuisine dishes caught my eye while perusing the menu. We picked Garlic Bread to start, mainly due to the fact that across the board we have enjoyed amazing breads while in Scotland. Though it could have had more garlic flavor, the bread was delicious. My DW was not overly hungry so she chose the Beetroot and Goat Cheese salad. This was pronounced delicious and mention was made of the mild, not too robust, flavor of the cheese. Scottish lamb-Roast Rump of Perthshire Lamb-was my choice. Served with ratatouille & dauphinoise potatoes, both of which I felt were truly outstanding. The potatoes especially were an excellent compliment to the lamb. I was pleasantly surprised how the flavor of the lamb was much less "gamey" than most of my past experiences. The unctuous flavor was eye opening and the red wine jus added deep flavor to the dish. Loved it. We skipped dessert here for the ice cream shop down the street. If you visit Pitlochry, be advised that the tourist busses can flood the town day and evening so if you want to visit Victoria's, best to make a reservation. Highly recommended.
