It's so big it has several roads and stoplights in an out and is split into Hilltop North, West, South, etc. Due to the road construction and the access roads, I suggest you enter and exit at stoplights to save yourself the road rage. There is plenty of parking and it's an easy park and walk shopping center. You can come here and spend hours and hours shopping. There are restaurants for snacks and meals while you shop like Baker's Crust, Fruitive, Taste, etc. and there are places for grab and go items too like Fresh Market or a coffee from Roast Rider. For more upscale there is Blue Fin and Butcher's Son and Melting Pot. My favorite furniture store is here after moving out of the huge spot they held at Town Center a few years ago, Ethan Allan, as well as a few more speciality home decor places like Kitchen Barn. There are tons and tons of salons and spa and nail places as well as an optometrist, tailors, and men's and women's specialty clothing stores like Bridal, etc. There are a bunch of places to shop for gifts and home decor including a Hallmark store and a few locally owned shops, my faves are Be Jeweled and Wild Birds Unlimited (not just for bird stuff trust me). There are also some specialty fitness places like a newer Cycle Bar I saw last time I was there, as well as Trek bicycle shop and a Great Outdoor Provision Co store and the only Athleta store in VAB I think. There are also several banks (like 5!) and a CVS and Rite Aid so you can get some prescriptions and drop off deposits (or get more money) while you're here! I love coming over here for a day of shopping, snacks, and spoiling myself. It almost felt like Christmas except with white lights and the humid heat of summer. Lights shine from the urban apartments in the buildings where one can live and walk to just about anything. The Plaza is a wonderful focal point. The vision of a planned Uptown, miles from the lights and glitter of the oceanfront, was a wonderful one. Upscale shopping, restaurants, housing and theaters abound. Grocery shopping is now available in the form of Trader Joe's, which occupies a space in the same area of Regal Cinemas. Town Center is a vision that became reality and continues to grow throughout the years.

This is a free concert that brings out all ages. The shade of the trees and lights in the plaza make the events a fun and festive opportunity to enjoy the warmer evenings at no cost. We always make a point to enjoy a nice meal at a neighboring restaurant and then set up chairs to get a great view of the band and everyone dancing to the music.

Common space was a mix of open and shaded area, mostly clean and well maintained. There were a good number of shops, but most of them were smaller in size and were carrying lesser number of products. While exploring the outlet, I walked into few stores but didn't find anything worth buying. The sales tax rate was also very high 12%. The food court was little sad. There were few different shops but most were abysmal. The dining hall was also underwhelming with old chair and tables. Overall I wasn't very impressed with the experience, and was one of the least exciting outlet mall I had visited.

I've brought family and friends here, had date nights for my birthday or anniversaries or special occasions, and come here to carb-load before running weekends. There is a Nothing Bundt Cakes here and they have the best cakes I've ever had so I always stop to get these for special occasions and they're the only cakes I want for my birthday. There is a Chico's here which now also sells Soma Intimates from their sister brand. There is also a shop right beside Chico's which exclusively sells Lily Pulitzer clothing and has some seriously gorgeous and colorful and fun clothing inside. Some of the spots have changed on and off throughout the years: a coffee shop, bridal shops (this is where I got a stunning wedding dress for my 2015 wedding). Parking is easy, there is plenty, and it's always immaculate. This is a great spot with some nice, niche shops and Aldo's is one of my favorite local restaurants. Service is always excellent and food is top notch! The only issue is the access roads off Laskin, but they're working on those and hopefully all will be better in coming years.

Kohls Target REI The Fresh Market Nordstrom Rack Old Navy DSW Rack Room Shoes Red Cross Bahama Breeze Latitude If I missed any I'm not aware. A very large area is vacant where Sears once was. The center of the surrounding buildings which once occupied the mall has been leveled. The plan as I understand is to build a senior living community.

After a years long renovation and redo - it's now more like the outdoor shopping malls of Richmond or Hampton. The old, moldy indoor mall is gone and now it's fresh and clean with a Bath and Body Works, REI, Fresh Market, huge super Target, Old Navy and Nordstrom Rack. There are more shops but those are the ones I frequent the most. Since Nordstrom sadly departed MacArthur a few years ago this is the only Nordstrom you'll find on this side of the water. It's not the same as the three-story beauty in Norfolk but it'll do - even if it's only their discount arm. I love the shoe section there. Best deals in town. This is an updated shopping center with plenty of easy parking and some dining (Smokey Bones anyone - nah, I'll pass) as well.

You can find restaurants here, jewelry, home goods, foods, plants, electric bikes, furniture, gifts, Hallmark... it's home to some great locally owned shops that I frequent pretty often as well as an ice cream shop, Starbucks, and Ethan Allen and Fresh Market. It's an absolutely huge shopping center that has multiple entrances and exits so you can easily get in an out. Note: I do recommend you only enter and exit with traffic lights as the access roads for Laskin are notoriously confusing and frustrating to deal with. I'll be glad when they're gone... perhaps in the next 15-20 years? Ha. Still, worth the visit.

So some of my favorite businesses located in Hilltop East are The Butcher's Son (previously Fire & Vine), Bottlecraft, Taste, YMCA, Great Outdoor Provision Co. and Birkenstock store. There are many more to check out. The Hilltop area is an upper-scale strip that is in a beautiful area of Virgina Beach only three miles from the oceanfront. I will continue to shop and eat at establishments in the area and recommend.

It's a winding, clean, up to date shopping area with a plethora of stores & eateries too numerous to list. Landstown Commons is beautifully landscaped and maintained. The restaurant I visited was in a cute area with a small one way around and back with a greenway & trees in the middle. It was very aesthetically pleasing. The selections of businesses in this area were mixed and varied, leading one to want to revisit & explore. What a change the Dam Neck, General Booth area has experienced in the almost 40 years since we were house hunting following our move from Atlanta. During that time there were almost no housing developments in the area. We looked at one under construction on the east side of General Booth. But there was absolutely no shopping centers or eateries. It felt as if we were in the country, in the midst of fields. Dam Neck & Plaza Trail had not been extended. Nimmo Parkway didn't exist. Who would want to live in an area with no amenities? But who could have envisioned what it would become. Now the area is teaming with shopping, restaurants & housing developments. After my first visit I think Landstown Commons must be the crown jewel of them all. Even though it's a long distance from my house, it will require another exploration visit. It was too near sundown on my first visit to stay. There may be similar areas. I see an exploration trip in my future.

There is a great variety of eateries and stores that satisfies my need to window shop or spend money! The center has 2 entrances - 1 on Princess Anne Rd and 1 on Dam Neck, both with stoplights. The PA entrance can be a little hairy during the lunch hour or busy weekends, but isn't too bothersome. There are always those who don't want to abide by the unspoken rules of the 3-way stop and yield to incoming traffic. There is ample parking if you don't mind not parking directly in front of the store you are going to during busy hours. Several of the stores (Carter's, Ulta, Old Navy) have curbside pick up so you may see vehicles parked on the curb. I really like that I can hit Kohl's and the aforementioned stores on foot easily as they are on opposite sides of the parking lot from each other. Best Buy is also convenient along with several other boutique stores, Phoenix Salon Suites, IT stores, you name it. Most of the eateries (aside from BWW, IHOP, Ynot and Super Ninja) are on a separate roundabout near the Dam Neck entrance. This can get a little crazy at lunch hour too, so I always recommend parking behind the restaurants for easy-in/easy-out. The center is well-maintained and always looks clean. I notice the golf cart occasionally making the morning rounds before 8am to empty bins and pick up stray trash. So long as I'm working nearby, you can find me here on the regular!
