While I am sad and inconvenienced by Starbucks' departure, the shopping center offers plenty. CVS, Hallmark, and The Fresh Market are among my most frequent visits. Adele Diamond is the best jewelry store with amazing owners and fantastic staff. There are also a few restaurants and bakeries to enjoy. When I had a gym membership, I frequented the YMCA.

Sometimes there is confusion with other Hilltop stores at the intersection so keep in mind there is signage. The Shops at Hilltop are located on the Southeast corner off the intersection of Laskin and First Colonial. All the shops are collectively known as The Shoppes of Hilltop. However, the break it down by East and West. Customers have one access point off First Colonial and three off Laskin. If there is a drawback it's the bottleneck on the First Colonial side during rush. I have never had an issue with parking. The lot can be a bit hit or miss on debris. They do have a few security guards that patrol. I have never felt unsafe. The stores I frequent the most are Fruitive, Fresh Market, Bottlecraft, Bakers Crust, Cobalt Grille, Tino and Nectar. A few more in between as there are a lot of stores. My family enjoy the Shoppes at Hilltop and I would recommend working them in your rotation. Many are local businesses which is more reason.

A few of my favorite stores are Dillards and Macey's'. With department stores dying these two do well. Another favorite is Apple which our family has purchased products from over the years. The overall appearance has changed over the years for the better and continues to be a draw for business who want to sign leases. If there is a negative it can be parking, but that's ok. That's the price of success. I will also say the lot is clean and secured. I will continue to be a regular shopper at Lynnhaven Mall.

I've brought family and friends here, had date nights for my birthday or anniversaries or special occasions, and come here to carb-load before running weekends. There is a Nothing Bundt Cakes here and they have the best cakes I've ever had so I always stop to get these for special occasions and they're the only cakes I want for my birthday. There is a Chico's here which now also sells Soma Intimates from their sister brand. There is also a shop right beside Chico's which exclusively sells Lily Pulitzer clothing and has some seriously gorgeous and colorful and fun clothing inside. Some of the spots have changed on and off throughout the years: a coffee shop, bridal shops (this is where I got a stunning wedding dress for my 2015 wedding). Parking is easy, there is plenty, and it's always immaculate. This is a great spot with some nice, niche shops and Aldo's is one of my favorite local restaurants. Service is always excellent and food is top notch! The only issue is the access roads off Laskin, but they're working on those and hopefully all will be better in coming years.

You can find restaurants here, jewelry, home goods, foods, plants, electric bikes, furniture, gifts, Hallmark... it's home to some great locally owned shops that I frequent pretty often as well as an ice cream shop, Starbucks, and Ethan Allen and Fresh Market. It's an absolutely huge shopping center that has multiple entrances and exits so you can easily get in an out. Note: I do recommend you only enter and exit with traffic lights as the access roads for Laskin are notoriously confusing and frustrating to deal with. I'll be glad when they're gone... perhaps in the next 15-20 years? Ha. Still, worth the visit.

Best entry point is Laskin where their are two entrances. The furthest East is less congested. I've always found plenty of parking and the lot is impeccably clean. Lighting is great at night. Access to the businesses is great from the surface lot. So some of my favorite businesses located in Hilltop East are The Butcher's Son (previously Fire & Vine), Bottlecraft, Taste, YMCA, Great Outdoor Provision Co. and Birkenstock store. There are many more to check out. The Hilltop area is an upper-scale strip that is in a beautiful area of Virgina Beach only three miles from the oceanfront. I will continue to shop and eat at establishments in the area and recommend.

Ulta is still my bestie even though we see each other infrequently. Navy Federal Credit Union is now in the center, and this location is excellent. Joann Fabric is no more, but a furniture store I haven't visited has moved into the space. I rarely visit Five Below, but when I do, I don't leave empty-handed. Outback sees my face every once in a blue moon. Several other businesses in the plaza would love to see you any time you're in the neighborhood. Parking is UNGH and I usually park farm from where I'm actually visiting.

Hopefully it will be completed "soon". Trader Joes and Petsmart seem to be the anchors here - there was a Kirklands but it is now closed and a few of the other stores have rotated on and off throughout the years but Petsmart and Trader Joes are here to stay it seems. I think it's only a little over a year old. The location is in between Laskin and Virginia Beach Blvd on the West side of road. Signage is great coming from the South, but I believe no signs from North entrance. Parking is more than adequate and it's new! Also you are permitted to park up next to the building which is a nice bonus in inclement weather. Everything was also debris free! Main anchors are Virginia ABC and 501 North Kitchen & Bar. I was in the area to visit Aquawear and also popped in the Virginia ABC Store. This was a super nice surprise.

Lynnhaven Crossing is a strip shopping center facing the ring road around Lynnhaven Mall. Although…read moreit has a Lynnhaven Parkway address, it's not visible from the road. The only thing marketing the entrance is a sign, which is directly between the Wendy's & Red Lobster. So it can easily be missed if you are relying on the address alone. There is another entranceway at the opposite end of the shopping center, which is accessed from South Lynnhaven Road. The landmark to watch for is Smoke Shop. Turn there. Lynnhaven Crossing is not a shopping location for browsing. Instead there are businesses which you would specifically be visiting. Lynnhaven Crossing contains quite a variety of specialty shops. You'll find a nail salon, militarily recruiting office, Celtic Store, electronics repair center, alterations & shoe repair, a Jamaican Restaurant and more. Music & Arts is a great musical instrument, sheet music & instrument lessons shop. Catherine's is a woman's clothing store targeting a certain size range. The Bounce House is a children's play destination. But don't forget. It's not easy to spot from either entrance. It's more readily visible from the parking lot of Dillard's.
